| StoryCasino Tycoon James Carson owns Stoneport City. His casinos all ready steal from the poor and feed the rich by preying on the hope of the starving to win big, but the games are rigged. To make matters worse, the real crimes take place behind the scenes. His nightclubs and V.I.P. rooms of the casinos are littered with drugs, whores, and the occasional murder. Money knows no laws. Cops, politicians, doctors, even teenagers have access to these 'special' services. The poverty doesn't end there. Stoneport City has an obvious economic gap. The rich live in massive hotels in elegant penthouses and party their money away. The poor suffer in slums. A new section of the city has been designated as the Quarantine Zone. Here poverty is so bad that none can afford housing, medical care, and even food. The conditions are so unsanitary that a deadly virus as created an epidemic and forced Carson and the City Council to wall off the infected area to stop it from spreading, nobody in or out. At least, that is the 'official' story, and good and honorable people left in the city can see the bullshit in that. The city has suffered enough, and there are some in the streets that have rallied together to topple the corrupt government and companies to try and free Stoneport and its people, before total anarchy burns the city down. Important FiguresJames Carson- Spoiler:
An eccentric billionaire that, for all intents and purposes, owns Stoneport. He has bought out 95% of the police force, has influence over all the business, and has his dirty hands in nearly every illegal act in the city. With his own private security army, the corrupt cops, and loyal street gangs protecting him and his interests, he is the untouchable kingpin. His ‘face’ business is his chain of casinos that suck the money of the unfortunate souls in it and reward the rich that throw the money back into his investments.
Justice- Spoiler:
A revolution group that has finally had enough of Carson and the corruption in Stoneport. People from all walks of life are coming together to take him, the gangs, and every corrupt individual down. While small in number, they are using every means possible to achieve their goal with a specialty in sabotage. Led by an elusive man that few have seen, using the alias Justice, these freedom fighters will do anything to bring Stoneport out of the darkness.
Edison Monroe- Spoiler:
Chief of Police, also on Carson’s payroll. With his influence, Monroe allows Carson to get away with anything and has led his force to do the same. Easily willing to pin crimes on someone else, as long as Carson keeps signing checks.
Street Gangs- Spoiler:
Multiple groups of individuals that have spent their lives on the streets committing various crimes. With the blessing of the city’s most powerful man, they have taken crime to an all time high and love it. They come in different styles. High Rollers are mostly made up of the children of the rich pricks that Carson has in his pockets. These well dressed punks use mommy and daddy’s money to buy the best in gang culture. The Titans are the big buff street thugs that think they’re the baddest morons around. Slow thinking and hard hitting, these guys are the enforcers of crime. Quix Fix are the drug lords of Stoneport. If you can smoke, snort, inhale, inject, or eat it, they can get you it. Always tweaking, these paranoid gunslingers will shoot first and ask “who’s hungry?” later.
Quarantined- Spoiler:
The unfortunate souls trapped in the walled off area of Stoneport to a strict Quarantine policy. A recent viral outbreak has put the all ready dangerous slums into a black plague state. There is little information about the Zone, due to no media coverage. But it can’t be good.

Potterwatcher1997- Spoiler:
Name: Connor Smith Age: 18 Gender: Male Appearance:  Occupation: None Allegiance: Carson, High Rollers Personality: He's generally not liked by anyone. His parents bought his way into the High Rollers, and even there, his snooty, irresponsible, cocky attitude has turned him into the water boy of the group. Little does he know it, but Conner has no real value to the High Rollers. With a fifth grade education, he's not the brightest of the bunch, either. History: Conner's entire life has been supported by his parents: rich, famous, and whom he wants absolutely nothing do with. All he cares about is the money, because money bought him his way into the High Rollers, and without money he'd be nothing. School, education, college, jobs...no need for any of that stuff, he tells himself, when he can buy his way into fame and publicity. In his dreams, he'll be the owner of Stoneport City some day. Because money buys power, and power means happiness, right? Equipment: A gun and knife. He's got a pretty poor aim, though. Other: Connor may be 18, but he's often mistaken for a 15- or 16-year-old. This bugs him sufficiently.
Script_Z- Spoiler:
Name: Noctis Talea. Age: 22. Gender: Female. Appearance: Noctis.Occupation: Private Equity CEO. Allegiance: Independent. Personality: Introverted, distant, often coming off as cold and apathetic. Has a love of sarcasm, and a penchant for subtle manipulation. Her humor can seem, and, indeed, often is biting, but odds are she means nothing by it. Also prone to extended fits of laziness, and lethargy. History: Noctis, Noct for short, was born and raised in Stoneport. Noct was raised by her single, work-aholic mother. She never knew her father, though it didn't matter much to her. She didn't have time to feel unwanted and unloved by him with her mother more than picking up the slack. Raised by textbooks, video games, movies, and the internet, Noct quickly learned to fend for herself in a big empty apartment. When it came to schooling Noctis excelled, but this served only to get her kicked out of her home sooner than she should have. While away at boarding school somewhere in Rich Kid, Connecticut, she got word that her mother died. Since she didn't have a will written, everything went to next of kin, Noctis. Had her mother expected her death Noctis doubted she would have found a penny. Then again, who expects to get hit by a bus? Noct, now recently graduated from business school, heads up her mother's business in private equity. Once named after her mother, Noct rebranded the company as Night Capital. Private equity has the written goal to help keep failing businesses afloat by purchasing them, and helping them succeed, thus making everyone profit. Noct found she could quintuple profits for her business' end by buying a failing company, sucking it dry of all assets; selling off parts, closing factories, cutting wages, firing workers. While the other company would undoubtedly go bankrupt, it left Night with quite a lot more than a pretty penny. Noct whittles away her free time by going to parties held at the casinos. She doesn't ally herself with Carson, or anyone really, but he knows how to throw a good party. Equipment: A revolver. Stoneport isn't exactly a safe place to live, so Noct got herself lessons in self defense, with a focus in CQC, and small arms. Other: N/A
Azena- Spoiler:
Name: Ryder Montierro Age: 23 Gender: Male Appearance:  Occupation: Detective Allegiance: Independent/Justice/Monroe Personality: Dedicated; Virtuous; Street-Smart Dedicated -- His history has fueled his drive to end corruption at all cost. Surrounded by it everywhere he turns in the city, Ryder must stay constantly vigilant and keep his goals in mind. The dark side of Stoneport is tempting and will take everything he has to not fall prey to it. Virtuous -- Never able to turn a blind eye to injustice, Ryder will go out of his way to help those that he can. As long as it doesn't counter his own goals. Street-Smarts -- Ryder spent a lot of time as a child exploring the lesser known sides of Stoneport and as he got older he got involved in more darker elements. He's well aware of corruption in Stoneport and knows his way around it all. History: Shortly after Ryder was born, his mother ran off and left his father to raise him alone. His father, Frank Montierro, was on the Stoneport Police force and worked a lot. This gave Ryder all the time he needed to go out and just explore. Spending most of his time on the rooftops, he often eavesdropped on late night crimes. This set him up for a future in the business. When money got tight at home, he did what any street-smart ten year old would do. Ryder approached a well-known drug dealer in the area and convinced him to let Ryder make runs across town. Even with how messed up Stoneport was, nobody would suspect the young son of a diligent cop to be running cocaine. Karma, is not with out a sense of humor. When a drug run went extremely wrong, Ryder's drug dealer took it out on him the clearest way he could. Ryder returned from school one day to find his father murdered, stabbed multiple times on the couch, and all the money he had earned was gone. It was the push that got him rolling. From then on, Ryder dedicated his life to his father's legacy. He spent the next few years studying law enforcement and joined the police force as soon as he got out of school. As much as he wanted to do what was right, Ryder knew the only way to really clean up this city was to play their game, which led him to do some things he deeply regrets. Now, as a detective, he has the freedom he needs to run his own investigations and bring down Carson and every criminal in this fucked up city. Whether Chief Monroe likes it or not. He loosely works with Justice and his group, mostly because their goals often cross paths. Equipment: SPF Badge, Beretta 9mm (Holster concealed inside coat)
WolfSmasher- Spoiler:
Name: Kent "Steel" Barbara Age: 23 Gender: Male Appearance: Kent; while fighting crime, wears this jacket, along with this mask (Mask made of steel). Occupation: Vigilante Allegiance: Independent/sometimes works with Justice Personality: Joking and flirty, he's an ideal friend. Overly kind at times, some would say. A normal guy, for the most part. He gets much more serious while fighting, however. Even more so when donning his vigilante personality, even bordering on emotionless. History: Kent grew up in a poor family in the rough parts of town, where he was mercilessly beaten by his alcoholic parents. Nevertheless, he managed to deal with it and moved out as his first opportunity. Just in time, too. A few weeks after getting his own apartment, he got a letter in the mail saying that his mom and dad were killed in some sort of drive-by shooting, along with many others. Despite his loathing for his parents at the time, he still considered them important people in his life, and this drove him to the breaking point. After some talking and convincing with his friend, a police officer, he got his hands on some of their equipment, which he uses to fight crime on a nightly basis. He's known by the nickname of "Steel" among criminals now. Equipment: Two desert eagles, taser (Only while fighting crime). Other: He also regularly practices kickboxing and judo.
Astarte- Spoiler:
Name: Astarte Cyprus
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Appearance: Astarte is a small woman (around 165cm tall and weighing 50kg) with waist length brown hair and brilliant blue eyes. She wears a short black skirt and a white button up shirt with a black bow on the collar. Over the shirt she wears a small, black silk jacket.
Occupation: Casino Bar Tender.
Allegiance: Independant (works at one of Carson's casinos, but is not involved with him).
Personality: Astarte is a quiet, reserved woman who prefers to keep relations with the casino's patrons civil at best. Being a small, attractive and apparently defenseless woman in such a dangerous city, she is constantly cautious of her surroundings and the people around her.
History: Astarte was born to a middle-class family, her father in the police and her mother a charity worker. Her mother died from a severe heart attack when Astarte was 12, leaving Astarte with an infuriating older brother and a distant father. Shortly before Astarte's 16th birthday her father was murdered quite publically and she grieved for his loss while fearing for her own life.
When she finished her secondary education, she found herself with no ambition or direction and in order to keep herself fed she became a waitress at a restaurant and then moved on to be a cocktail waitress at the biggest casino in the city. After 6 more months she became a full time bar tender.
Equipment: A short barrelled .38 S&W revolver (which she took from her late father's belongings) in the inside pocket of her silk jacket.

Name: Enkidu Cyprus.
Age: 25.
Gender: Male.
Appearance: Enkidu is a 6"6' bear of a man with a thick set of muscles, dark green eyes and messy blonde hair that just covers his ears.
Occupation: Edison Monroe's second in command and right hand.
Allegiance: Police Department (Edison Monroe).
Personality: Enkidu is a hot-headed, uncaring and ruthless man. While appearing loyal and honour-bound, he is treacherous and sleezy.
History: Enkidu was one of two children born to a middle class family and spent the first eighteen years of his life playing sports, partying, going shooting and trying to impress his father- a big man in the police force. As soon as he came of age he joined the police force and set about proving himself. Soon enough he was recognized for his efforts, was invited to various parties and enveloped himself in the corrupt community of Stoneport. Soon after Enkidu turned 21 his father was very publically assassinated (not long after crossing James Carson), but Enkidu was not set back by this. Instead he decided he would advance and take his father's place. By the time he had turned 25 he had achieved his father's rank and status, but stayed as far away from James Carson as possible.
Equipment: A throwing knife in each boot and sleeve, a long-barrelled S&W .41 Calibre Magnum (hip holstered) and an extendable baton (kept in his inside jacket pocket).
Other: He is almost always found to be wearing an immaculate police uniform. At parties, however, he wears jeans, a leather jacket and a plain white shirt.
Neo Bahamut- Spoiler:
Name: Senthose Rasheverek Age: 25 Appearance: Shoulder-length, black hair, blue eyes, white skin. Wears a coat with a simple black suit underneath. Occupation: Epidemiologist Allegiance: Independent/Justice. Personality: You know what he's like, don't give me that. History: Senthose was not an orphan and he did not grow up with parents who hated or neglected him. His family wasn't rich, but they never had trouble getting by either. He just never really liked them back. When he went off to college, he began seeing less and less of them. By the time he was accepted into medical school, he was ignoring them completely. He was not born in Stoneport, he moved there as part of a project that was put together to find a cure for the epidemic. But his real hobby was screwing people over. Between a lab accident and a tip to the police that some of them were trying to develop chemical weapons, within a few years found himself continuing the project on his own, with all of the funds. With no one to really report to, he used his free time to commit murders. Just whores and homeless to start, learn the craft, but his real idea of fun is to take out high profile targets. To that end, he occasionally offers his services to Justice, taking up the ringleader's habits of secrecy so that no one knows that doctor, murderer, & revolutionary are one in the same. Equipment: He can't carry much on him in the field. A germ mask, gloves, sanitizer, scalpel, gauze, & a small bottle of chloroform are his basic supplies. He also has a straight black cane, which secretly has a concealed blade in it. Other: He can shoot, fairly well, he just chooses not to use a gun as his primary weapon. Instead, he learned how to disarm someone who had a gun.

| Wow, I missed that little fact. It is very possible. It would be interesting since he planned on knocking on her door at some point during his investigation against Carson, since she associates with him.

| Yeah, I like fantasy better. I immediately dropped Max Payne 3 when Dragon's Dogma arrived and have been playing DD pretty much nonstop for 72 hours.

| God I want Dragon's Dogma. I went over a friends house because I knew he had it. I got there at 9 in the morning, popped in the game, started a new file, ignored him entirely (though I took some time to play Uno with his sister), and left at 10pm. I really love the game... | |

| Started a new file? Doesn't the game only allow one file? Starting a new game should delete the other (Atleast on PS3). | |

| I have my PSN info on his PS3, and he has his on mine. It is a way to share PSN purchases. I can download whatever he buys, and vice versa. It is how I get most of my DLC and shit. | |

| No, my save is on his PS3, so I'd have to actually get a thumb drive and take the save file back home, that said, I do, in fact, get the trophies for playing the game.
PSN+ is supposed to have cloud saving, so, theoretically I could play on his, then continue on mine, but I'm not sure if that is how it works exactly, and I don't have PSN+.

| Yeah it does. I have PSN+. you upload to an online storage and can download anywhere. Catch is you can only have one of the same file name...so like Skyrim saves are all saved as the same name, with sub info giving the details to figure out which is which, but since they're all the same name, the cloud wants you overwrite the other save and I don't think you can just ignore it and save it as a "duplicate". | |
