*Hitomi sits down with her back against a crate.*

Ark: <Awesome. So... when do I get to bli---Aw man, I forgot my Blitzball on the ferry!>

Senthose<Tomorrow at noon. In the meantime, see if you can find any other members. That's what I'll be doing.>

*Senthose disappears into the crowd. Mika waves a hand & the Warrior Monks return to the boat. The Maesters step forward.*

Mika<I know that man seems affable & trustworthy, but believe me when I tell you that he is nothing but a snake pretending to be a twig.>

OOC: Well it's not like I have any say in when they show up...

Ark: <Ec dryd cu, Maester? Tuac ouin ubeheuh po yho lryhla ryja yhodrehk du tu fedr dra vyld ra'c yh Al Bhed?>

*Ark does the circle prayer and walks away, pulling Luna's hand*

Ark: <Hitomi and Max, right? Let's go?>

*Not taking orders from some impatiant jag off, Hitomi remains where she's sitting.*

Zephyr stares up at the sky. Suddenly he recieves a mental flash. A triggered memory. He sees the back of a woman's head and he's walking down a path with seven other figures. He can't make out their faces but they all seem to be heading to a temple of sorts. The vision ends there.

"(You forgot the white mage & the woman with the guns. I'm not sure what their names are.)"

*The Maesters depart soon afterwards.*

"Also, how are we going to round up a Blitzball team in just a few hours?!"

Ark: <Oh, I can take care of that.>

*He runs off towards the city*

*Max follows Ark quietly while reading a book.*

"Hm...ever feel like you're invisible."

*Syrona shrugs it off and heads into town to shop*

Zephyr returns unoticably and stands beyond Luna like some fearsome shadow daring malintent to try and befall her if it had the balls.

OOC: We've been in exposition for 21 pages. I have got to speed this shit up.

*The next morning, everyone wakes up a few hours before the match. Senthose had gotten them all rooms in a hotel on the basis that they were "scouting agents" to help him put his team together.*

*Hitomi lays on her bed staring at the ceiling.*

[You'd think he'd have gotten the message when I said no.]

Ark: <I should totally ask Luna out some time. Whenever that pain in the ass isn't around.>

*He yawns and gets up, walking out the door to meet the group*

Zephyr is already awake and patroling outside the rooms.

*Max quietly gets out of bed and walks outside, making sure to pack his books and such.*

*Luna leaves her room, nodding to Zephyr & joining Ark & Max.*

"The match begins in a few hours. Is there anything you want to do before that?"

*Zeno is getting something to eat in the sports bar. He overhears some gossip about an Al Bhed Machina-assisted attack on the Maesters occuring the other day.*

Zeno: <Al-Bhed always trying to pull something... Damn.>

*He takes a drink of water from his glass and shakes his head.*

Zeno: <Hopefully the game's better than the morals of the people who play it.>

"Actually, there might not be a match. Depends on how many players I can find. Oh, excuse me, ma'am, could I have some eggs, please?"

*The speaker, situated behind Zeno, is an Al Bhed with shoulder-length black hair in white robes. He holds out some Gil to the barkeeper, who just walks past him without looking at him.*

"Well then."

*Zeno turns around in his stool and looks over the man.*

Zeno: <You gotta think positive. Hope that the game'll turn out great, and it just might.>

*He smirks coyly.*

Zephyr follows silently.

*Hitomi throws the blankets off. She's wearing a plain, white bra and panties, her clothes tossed on the floor by the foot of the bed. Groaning she crawls out of bed and gets dressed and stubles over to the bedside table where her book and classes are.*
