It came before .hack it just took this long for it to get an anime.

Yes. I read the the Light Novels. I've been aware of it for years now. I like about a 100x more than .hack.

you mean a guy? Yeah the main character of Sword Art Online is a guy though he becomes less the main character over time and more the leader of the group with a chick serving as the main char for the arc.

and the only .hack that has a girl as the MC is Sign. None of the others do lol.

I've never claimed to have watched any .hack other than Sign.

Okay, several points of order:

1. I'm with Script on Sword Art probably being godawful.
2. It doesn't matter, there are STILL people who deny that Subaru & Tsukasa are lesbians. I have a link to a convoluted argument trying to claim they're a "heterosexual couple of the same gender," whatever the Hell that means.
3. .hack//Zero has Karl, a female Heavy Axeman; .hack//Another Birth stars BlackRose; & .hack//AI Buster 2 has 4/5 of its stories starring women. Hotaru is a girl. Yes she fucking is. Don't argue.
4. Script watched Sign?

You say this every time I dislike something you like. But often times, you like shitty things, so whether or not I only hear about it from you is a pretty good litmus test for it being shitty. Then you try to act all superior for allegedly liking so many things, but not only are you usually over-embellishing your own sample size, but good taste isn't some contest that you win by liking the most things. The fact of the matter is that most media out there runs the gambit from shitty to mediocre, so if you aren't saying something is shitty every now & again, it probably only proves that you have low standards.

So I've heard. I'm of the opinion you can't make a call on whether something is shitty till you've read it/watched it and made that call for yourself.

And I do mean for yourself because just because you think something is shitty/good doesn't means others have the same opinion.
