It's so people don't see him as some kind of no life degenerate, isn't it? Actually, I'm in the library on my laptop now. I'll get internet eventually. Also, the Ghost in the Shell manga I'm borrowing is a physical copy, not electronic. I'm not about shouting out online manga places. I'm pretty sure every session - even when I'm on my own laptop - are logged. Big Brother sees you. And to be honest Harley, I think I would be seen as a no life degenerate anyway if I spend lots of time in a library. - Astarte wrote:

I don't think it holds the meaning of life or anything, and the term 'deep' is kind of vague (to me at least), but it has some merit there.
I'm pretty sure there are other anime/manga that got a very good story with deep thoughts. If I'm asked which anime is the greates or the best, I would be unable to answer since there are many good ones. Though I'm probably unable to list them and there is also the personal opinion. What I regard highly might not be in someone else's taste.

| Yeah, no one really cares that you're reading Japanese comics. I, & others, do it over the campus internet all of the time. | |

Interesting. I'm not at a campus internet but a public library's. But anyway, when I get here I have emails to write and some other stuff to check and then I want to get home and eat, since I get here after work. . . oh well.

| It's still a monitored connection. It's just that no one really cares. | |

| I played Yu-Gi-Oh online at the public library all the time. Then I stopped going because I owe them money.
At school on the other hand...

| As it so happens, Asuna's new aspiration is to commit suicide, should anything ever happen to Kirito. | |

Hmm. . . might have forgotten that part. I pretty much just marched through it since I didn't feel like doing anything else. So I finally got to read Ghost in the Shell manga and it's quite different from the anime. Well, the movie from 1995 which was the one I saw. Haven't bothered yet with Innocence, S.A.C and 2:nd Gig. Instead of close ups of characters not moving their lips there are pictures of stuff they talk about. But then I don't know what kind of manga/anime you like.

| I just saw the episode where Kirito defeats the guy who made the game in a duel. Asuna died, but didn't, somehow. It was all very contrived.
Only thing I enjoyed was the guy effortlessly stopping all of the fancy dual wielding with slight movements of his shield.
I enjoy Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo, FLCL, some Miyazaki movies, most of Digimon, Durarara, & my favorites are Big O, NGE, .hack//SIGN, & of course, FMA/FMA Brotherhood. I used to like Naruto before the Sharingan took over the plot. Some of Cowboy Bebop is okay.
