Gabe nodded, "Don't worry. The Rabiroos are good competition, but nothing we can't take on."

Noctis frowned, "I see. This is terrible news, Chief. I will try to keep safe, but what do you suggest I do?"

Mortal nodded, "Man, it'd suck if they lost the one time we come to see them play. It'd mean we're bad luck."

Astarte entered the Arena and looked for familiar faces. When she spotted Roatha, Euryale and Mortal, she made her way over and sat next to Roatha.

"This is ridiculous," Hector shook his head. "Are you hurt at all? Did they follow you here?"

"Good evening," Dalia nodded to the cheerful stranger, continuing on her way.

E"Hmm...so are we going to wish them luck before the match?"

R"I figured we'd do so a little later. Give them time to prepare. And we could get snacks while we were at it."

*Roatha then looks over to notice that Astarte is sitting by him.*

Selena<No, I disposed of them all with my Waterbending. Though a valiant cloche hat did fall in the line of duty.>

Beifong<That is difficult to say. We can't be sure of their motives. You are quite far from areas of Purist activity, so you might not have much to worry about. All the same, if you would like, I could spare a few of my officers to act as guards for you.>

Astarte offered a quiet greeting.

"Impressive," Hector raised an eyebrow. "I'm sorry about your hat. You must be a very skilled Waterbender, though."

"Perhaps it would be better if all manpower were aimed at capturing Aamon, and dealing with any Purist threat to the city," Noct replied.

Mortal waved, "Hello, Astarte, wasn't it."

"Well, I can be sure that we're safe here, then," Hector smiled, hiding the fact that this made him uncomfortable.

Dalia found her way home and let herself in. She expected that she would need to get a job now that she had cost her family so much money.

*Tirea leans against the wall, waiting anxiously*

*Monu decides to head down to the Bay, as he hasn't been down there in a while*

"That is excellent news, Police Chief," Noct rubbed the back of her neck, "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

Gabe peeks her head out of the locker room, and looks around for either a sign of Syn, or her manager.

Mortal nodded, "You were here for the last game, right? Who do you think has a better shot, the Rabiroos, or... crap, what is Gabe's team called again?"

"The Dancing Dragons," Astarte replied. "But, uh, the last game was my first... so I don't really know any of the teams."

*The manager, a thick-bodied bald man in a suit & tophat, does indeed show up, but he doesn't look like he has good news. He just kind of lets himself in.*

<So I've been going over the books...Gabe, your winnings from the old days covered the expenses so far, including the 20,000 Yuans for the championship pot, but now they're all dried up. And you don't seem to be slowing down on equipment repair or gym fees. Do you have a sponsor yet?>

*He finally looks up from his notebook, & looks around.*

"No, I did not," Hector looked a little surprised, but that faded. "I suppose there is no point in dwelling on it, but they should at least be a little more grateful. Windows aren't cheap."

*Tirea shrugs*

*Monu decides to wander around a bit, to see what's around*

"Um, no, but I'm working on it," Gabe said, "I can work it out, I'm just going to need a bit more time." She then furrows her brow, "You don't know? That is what we were wondering."

Mortal sits back with an air of self importance, "I did, and they made a good choice. The Rabiroos better beat it, 'cause you can't lose with a name like 'the Dancing Dragons'."

"I'll do everything within my power to help the investigation," Noct said before hanging up.

Bhutaka<Well, see to it that you find Syn, or a suitable substitute, soon, or you'll have to forfeit the match.>

*Bhutaka heads out.*

R"Yup. After all, everyone knows that the name makes or breaks a team."

"Quite right," Hector nodded solemnly before heading to the back of the store. "Please excuse me and watch the store for me, I need to make a private call."
Eduj took his usual spot on the stool at the back of the store, and Hector entered his home, where his telephone was located. He took up the phone and called his immediate superior in the Triple Threats.

*Tirea stands up and turns to Gabe*

<Any ideas on who to ask? We should find someone encase Syn doesn't show up.>

*Eve stares back, her expression reading, "fuck you people."*

Gabe opens her eyes wide, expecting much more, but feeling dumb for her expectations at the same time. Gabe turned to Tiera, "Go out and try to find Syn. If you can't find her in 20 minutes come back, and get ready for the game."

With that Gabe sprinted from the locker room, and headed into the stands looking for the one Earthbender she knew she could count on in the stadium.

Mortal continues nodding until she sees Gabe, in full uniform dash into the stands, and start looking around. "Why does Gabe look lost, and confused?"

E"I don't know, maybe she has performance anxiety? We should go talk to her."

*Euryale gets up & starts heading towards Gabe. The people around her have mixed expressions of confusion, apprehension, & excitement. One young girl with black pigtails tugs at her arm.*

Astarte considered Gabe with confusion.

"I have suspicions regarding somebody I have hired to work in my pharmacy," Hector said quietly, facing the door so that he would know if anybody was coming in. He stated Selena's full name. "Do you have any information on this person? She is a proficient Waterbender."

"Please wait just a moment," Eduj looked up at her from his newspaper. "He is making a private call. He should not be long."

Gabe looked down at the girl, then smiled, "Uh, yea, sure." Not having a pen on her, or paper for that matter, Gabe, pulls off her left glove, and burns her signature onto it using firebending. She waves it a few times to cool it, then hands it to the girl, "Here you go, sweetie."

When Gabe looked back up she saw Euryale coming over and smiled, "Euryale, I need you! We need a replacement for Syn, and you're the only one I trust to replace her."

Mortal wonders why she hasn't gotten an autograph from Gabe yet.

*The girl hugs the glove tightly & runs off, squeeing. There might have been a "thank you so very much" in there somewhere. Euryale blinks at Gabe in confusion.*

"You want me to join your team?"

*Meanwhile, there is a clamor for autographed souvenirs.*
