Year One

Taiyo goes silent and falls two steps behind.

Mimiru: "God, you're worthless."

Azuma: "Like you could do anything either. You'd be too preoccupied tracking down and beating up people based on their poor vocabulary choices."

Mimiru: "At least I acknowledge the things I'd like to change."

Azuma: "With violence."

Mimiru: "As if you don't condone it. You could've tried to stop me, but you did nothing of the sorts. You even assisted me."

Hitomi: "Get away."

The Tyranno Boys close in, muttering slice and dice.

Hitomi: "Get away!"

Hitomi emits a high pitch shriek, the Tyranno Boys drop their knives and cover their ears, the glass in their visors shatters.

Bud: "Spud's a Mutant, like boss. My ears won't stop ringing, Tod."

Bud collapses, an elaborate shuriken sticking from his back. Tod has one in the back of his neck.

A Japanese woman in her early twenties, a few inches taller than Hitomi in tight jeans and a blue top resembling a yukata tied enough to keep it from flying open, but not enough to hide that she's not wearing anything underneath. A katana and wakizashi each in a blue sheath are strapped to her left.

She picks Hitomi's books up and hands them to her. Hitomi takes them, their fingers touching long enough for Hitomi to see the woman had been following her since the library as well as cause some slight discomfort for her savior, but not enough to warrant an emotional or verbal response.

Hitomi: "Th...thank you."

*Eve throws down her backpack and takes out her binder, and starts working on some homework. After finishing a bit, she turns on the T.V for a break*

*Aroma looks back.*

A"Is something wrong?"

Taiyo: "No, not at all."

Azuma: "I should get going."

Azuma stands up and begins to leave until Mimiru grabs him and turns him around.

Mimiru: "Don't try to run away just because you don't like how this is going. The only difference between us is you don't like to bloody your knuckles, so you just encourage someone who doesn't mind it."

Azuma: "You telling me you wouldn't have beaten some guy up if I wasn't there? I didn't make you do anything you wouldn't have done anyways. I just did nothing to stop it."

There isn't a whole lot on t.v except some recaps of earlier news reports.

At the entrance to the alley, the Tyranno Boy who stood watch is nowhere in sight. There's some blood on the ground.

Hitomi continues on her way home.

*Eve sighs and shakes her head at the reports on the Tyranno Boys*

<Now I see why Dad wants to move permanently back to London. Then again, there are probably big problems there too.>

*Eve turns down the T.V and takes out a box of flashcards to study*

*Venezuela flails her limbs in her sleep briefly.*

A"O...kay...so, what is it you want to do?"

Taiyo: "Um...I was...I don't know."

Azuma teleports outside to his frontdoor. When he goes in a woman around his brother's age with brown hair kept up in a pair of green ribbons, and a predominantly green ensemble consiting of a knee high skirt and white and green blouse is there. She squints for a moment before putting the gold wire frame glasses she was cleaning back on.

Kari: "Hello, Azuma."

Azuma: "Hey, Kari."

At home, Hitomi looks at her hand which touched the mystery woman, contact only being brief enough for there to be no long term effects.

Hitomi: She was...cold.

Dalia continued drinking tea and watching television.

Jin's parents showed no signs of moving, so she finished her sandwiches and excused herself to go for a jog.

[I know these by heart, but I can't stop stressing.]

*Eve continues to half study and half watch the news*

T"Well...what classes do you like?"

Taiyo: "Clothing, foods, and drama."

*Eve sets down her cards, and wanders upstairs to her room*

<Now that I've reviewed a bit, all I need to do is finish up the final chapters of that book for English*

*Eve enters her room, and grabs said book off her desk, then starts to read*

A"Did you do any acting?"

Taiyo: "No. I needed another class and I heard it was fun."

*Eve continues to read the book. It's the kind of book you read in English, thus pretty boring. She yawns every once in a while*

And everyone is at their respective homes and all is well.

Fast forward a few weeks to the last day of school. In the news, a total of four Mutant criminals have been apprehended, two supposed costumed heroes have been arrested and commited to Arclight Asylum, and the Tyranno Boys are still at large resulting in seven dead.

It is noon hour, the cafeteria a lot less crowded as a good number of seniors have skipped.

Azuma: "What a boring day. I don't even feel like bitching about lunch."

Mimiru: "Instead you bitch about this being a shitty day."

Azuma: "I need a better hobby."

*Because of all of those jackass Tyranno Boys running around, Ven is eating lunch on-site for a change, consuming a chicken sandwich that she brought from home.*

*Thiera is sitting at her usual table, looking dejectedly out of the window.*

Dalia was strolling the grounds as usual.

Jin was sitting down and drinking from a 300mL bottle of Vitamin Water.

Taiyo sits down at Thiera's table, lunchbox in hand.

Taiyo: "Hi, Thiera."

Azuma: "Wanna skip the afternoon?"

Mimiru: "And do what?"

Azuma: "You ever see that movie Baise Moi?"

Mimiru: "No."

Azuma: "Oh. Well then just general mayhem and delinquency."

Mimiru: "I'll think about it."

*Thiera turns to Taiyo & forces a smile as Aroma comes to join them with her salad.*

T"Oh, hello there, Taiyo, Aroma."

A"Good afternoon."

*Eve's sitting at a table with other members of her class. She's kinda bored now that there's nothing she has to for study for*

Taiyo: "Any plans for summer?"

Azuma: "Well, while you do that, I'm gonna skidaddle."

Mimiru: "Don't leave me, you idiot!"

A few people stop and stare.

Azuma: "Smooth."

T"Not really, no. You?"

*Eve tosses her trash and heads outside*

*An hour or so later, nothing significant has occurred.*
