*Thiera & Aroma arrive moments later, wearing a white bikini & a green one piece with occasional narrow vertical stripes of a slightly darker green, respectively.*

*Eve rolls her eyes as she passes the people in the sandwich boards on her way home from the Library*

[Crazies.]

Taiyo bites the corner of her mouth as she looks at Thiera then looks quizically at Aroma.

Taiyo: "For some reason I figured you'd be a blue person."

A plane flies overhead with a Henry Philips for President banner hanging off the back.

Mimiru: "People still do that sort of thing?"

Azuma: "It's theatrical. Or something. Personally I can't see any good coming from this. Especially for our fair city."

Mimiru: "Like you're the only one to think that."

The calm is broken when one of the people in sandwich boards hits the ground dead as a red Tyranno Boys sedan passes, a member hanging out the sunroof with a submachine gun, spraying rounds indiscriminantly.

A"What? Why?"

T"Err...is something wrong?"

*Eve had gotten to her driveway before she heard the shots. She runs up and slams open the front door, and lets herself in. Once inside, Eve sinks to her knees and leans up against the door*

<That was....that was so close.>

*Eve stands up and looks the door, then goes and sits on the couch*

Taiyo: "Nothing at all. It just seemed more...um... No, never mind."

Azuma: "Gee, really? I thought I was the only paranoid individual amongst the new species. Please continue to enlighten me about how I'm not special."

Mimiru: "You're an asshole."

Sirens pass, following the car.

News Anchor: "Good afternoon, this is Henry Rogers reporting with Channel Seven. Not too long ago, police engaged in pursuit of a Tyranno Boys vehicle after it sped down east and forty second, firing wildly killing three and injuring twelve. We'll have more as the story develops."

*Eve turns on the Tv, then watches the broadcast*

<I need to start getting my parents to drive me places.>

A"More what?"

Taiyo: "Nothing. Nothing nothing nothing."

Rather than continue to be interrogated, Taiyo opts to jump in the pool.

The two hear sirens nearby. Not exactly out of the ordinary, but the gunfire is.

Azuma: "What the hell is going on down there?"

The two look over the roofs ledge down to see the chase and source of the gunfire.

Azuma: "This neighborhood is going to Hell."

There are presently no new developmemts.

*Eve gets up and grabs an apple, then sits down to wait for new developments*

*They try to cover themselves from the splash, then Thiera slides in. Aroma follows more slowly, testing the water with tentative steps.*

Taiyo: That went well.

Taiyo just swims around.

Azuma: "Remember when we were kids and none of this was even concievable?"

Mimiru: "When what wasn't concievable?"

Azuma: "The perpetual living in fear. Sure, you might get mugged, but never with such alarming frequency. And at worst you might walk away with a few bruises, but you walk away alive. Now they don't even take your wallet. And that's not taking into account the Mutants and the government."

Mimiru: "Do the Tyranno Boys really bother you that much?"

Azuma: "Yes."

Henry Rogers: "The chase came to a close when the Manderlay Police Department spike strip halted the Tyranno Boys vehichle. The concluded chase has turned into a stand off with the police pinned down. This is the sixth shoot out between the Tyranno Boys and the Manderlay Police Department this month."

[Another shoot out? So glad I didn't stop for anything. Then again.....maybe I could of helped out some how. Probably not.]

*Eve stretches out on the couch, as if to fall asleep*

*Thiera swims after Taiyo, while Aroma just kind of lazily treads after her, trying not to look at anyone.*

Taiyo comes up to take a breath.

Azuma: "Wanna try the park, again?"

Mimiru: "Why not?"

Azuma takes Mimiru's hand and teleports the two into his living room where the phome's ringing.

Azuma: "Hello?"

Kentaro: "We're gonna be a bit late coming home. Something about a shoot out and traffics being rerouted. It's a pain in the ass."

Azuma: "All right. I was just heading out, so keep safe."

Kentaro: "Got a big date with the girl next door? Maybe we're brothers after a-."

Azuma hangs up.

Azuma: "Lets go."

Dalia would currently be sitting at home, half watching the news, and half reading a book.

Jin was out for a walk, but after hearing gunfire- not too close, but not too far away- she was beginning to head home.

*Still swimming.*

Taiyo resumes swimming around for a short while before climbing out to sit in one of the lawnchairs a long the deck.

On the way to the park, they pass a police roadblock. A black SUV passes by.

Azuma: "This is dangerously close to home."

OOC: Along

*Seeing this, Thiera practically jumps out of the pool & races over.*

T"I forgot to apply sunscreen!"

*Aroma quickly shambles out as well.*

A"Oh my...it completely slipped my mind because...well, you know. The gloves."

Taiyo blinks, looking at the two quizically given their overreaction towards not applying sunscreen.

Taiyo: "Okay..."

She curls up in the chair.

At the park, the two go to their usual spot under the tree with the view of the park and old chemical plant.

Mimiru: "So why'd you want to come back here?"

Azuma: "No reason, really. Just wanted to be somewhere away from...that back there. And this was the first place that came to mind."

*Thiera immediately roots around for the sunscreen, puts it on the table, & spins it. It points to Taiyo, but Aroma is standing closer to her, so she takes it.*

A"Yes!"

T"Damn."

*Aroma begins applying sunscreen to her arms.*

*Eve's pretty much asleep by this point*

Taiyo just basks in the sun. A few people passing by take note of the ruckus the other two are making, but not much else.

*Eve wakes up as she falls off the couch. After standing up, she heads upstairs to her room*

*Aroma finishes up with her front, then tries with great difficulty to reach her back.*

T"...Why don't you just give the sunscreen to me, & I can do that after I've finished applying it to myself?"

*Aroma blushes & reluctantly hands it over.*

A"I...okay. I guess there's...nothing wrong with that...."
