Before Mortal can punch that dick in the throat Sab says, "We're sorry. We didn't know about it. We just came back to the city. Can you tell us what is going on?" Sab, and Noct behind her, begin to make their way off the road.

Zac wasn't going to argue with Lilith about whether or not they should split the bill, so he simply said, "It isn't a bother, but I suppose that is fair." Zac puts down his share of the bill, along with a sizable tip for the Dancer.

Azuma: "Would asking for a likely location of some big wig mage be too much to ask for?"

*Lilith does the same. She also writes note for said Dancer. She then follows Zac out, folding her arms in front of her, but flaring her one elbow towards him slightly.*

<With the recent attacks on the city, we've decided to declare a strict curfew until the Royal Successor, whomever that may be, is safely within the confines of the Royal Palace.>

Zac smiled at Lilith, and hooked his arm in hers. "Did you have a good time?" He asked, smiling sheepishly. Lilith was the first girl he had been interested in in a while, so he felt a bit awkward.

"Thank you for the news," Sab said, "I can assure you this won't be an issue again. G'day, ser." Sab curtsied, and began to make her way home, beckoning Noct to follow along.

Noct, in a display of self control, did just that. The same could be said of Mortal.

Azuma: "And in what direction is that from here?"

*Lilith drinks from her mug of wine, & smiles back.*

"I had a great time! I was a little worried that I might be boring you."

*Nearby, they hear voices arguing, some of them vaguely familiar.*

<West. Down Finath River. Which might be fairly dangerous, if there are monsters roaming about.>

Noct had had enough of this shit and immediately responded by turning around and saying, "I'm Noctis from House Talea. I'm fucking the blonde. The white haired one is my sister, she is fucking the red head. We're all going home now. I don't want to deal with any more of your bullshit... Ser."

Sab let out a long sigh.

"I'm glad you had a great time," Zac said, smiling wider, a bit more confident now. "And you don't have to worry about boring me. I really enjoy the time we spend together. Even when we talk about little, it is just nice to be in your company."

Azuma: "We're not worried about monsters at all, right?"

Mimiru: "Not really."

Taiyo: "A little bit."

Azuma: "Okay, they won't be too big of an issue. Thank you for your time."

The three set off west.

*They pass over the mountain river without incident.*

Zac looked towards the disturbance, "Probably. I was just trying to enjoy this for as long as possible." He begins to head over there.

"It wasn't a statement of rank," Noct said, "I don't care. You said there was a curfew, and when we tried to go home you kept us longer. I explained who I was and my business, and you persist to keep us here. Are you naturally stupid, or just bad at your job. Let me just go home."

"No," Mortal said, "About the man. He isn't dead. We did not jest when we said we had a long day."

Safian:<Probably all got murdered by the demon sheep.>

Cassandra:<Let's go find someone.>

*They head off in search of someone*

*Just as a fight is about to break out, Lilith & Zac arrive on the scene.*

L"What is going on here?"

*The Lionsguard Captain whirls around.*

<What are you doing out here?! These streets are for Royal Guards only! Is this some kind of a coup?>

L"Calm down, we're part of Princess Ovelia's escort party. Here."

*She produces a notarized document with the Royal Seal. He stares at it in shock.*

<The Princess is in the Capital City? At this very moment?!>

*After walking through the streets for a while, they hear the sound of muffled shouting. Following this leads them to a makeshift city of tents around the Castle. All the windows are dark, implying that it has been barricaded from the outside. Inhabiting the "city" is your typical torch-&-pitchfork mob, dressed in a hodgepodge mix of ragged gray-brown peasant clothing & colorful, tailored suits that are usually too big. At the center of this camp is a bonfire & a pile of swords, shields, & bows; guarded by a trio of green-clad knights.*

Safian:<Namond, go say hello.>

Namond:<Wait, what?>

*Cassandra and Safian push Namond forward, towards the bonfire*

Namond:<Greetings!>

Zac and Noctis stare at each other wordlessly while this is going on, to the point that Mortal asks, "Is something wrong, Noct?"

"That man is my brother," Noct said.

Zac walks forward and wraps his arms around Noctis, pulling her into a hug, "I'm so sorry. I missed you."

Mortal and Sab kind of awkwardly watch as Noctis begins to sob on Zac's shoulder mumbling something about him being an asshole for leaving her alone.

Sab then looks at Lilith, "Hello again, Lilith. Um, how have you been?"

L"Fine. You?"

*Euryale is also wordlessly watching, until Sab mentions Lilith. She turns & smiles.*

E"Lily? I hardly recognized you. That outfit looks great on you!"

*Lilith looks down, blushing.*

L"Thanks...you're too nice."

*Euryale looks at Lionsguard guy.*

E"What are you still doing here? Get out of here."

<You swine, how dare you talk to me like-->

L"The lady told you to go."

*He shoots her a mutinous glare before stomping off, all mad & shit.*

*About half a dozen people in the crowd turn towards them & begin advancing angrily, yelling about how they're scum for ruining Ivalice.*

Mortal tries to remember why the name Lilith is familiar to her.

"I was just going to say how nice you looked," Sab said. She then looked at Zac, and back to her. She smiled and asked, "Special occasion?"

After a bit more hugs, the Taleas make there way back over. Zac walks up to Mortal, and extends his hand, which she takes, "I'm Zac. You must be Mortal. A pleasure to meet you."

"The pleasure is mine," Mortal replied, "I've heard a lot about you."

"As have I."

"Good things, I hope."

Zac nods, "Of course."

Azuma: "Nice enough place. Can't imagine anything particularly threatening lurking about."

Taiyo: "Don't say that."

Mimiru: "Idiot."

*Lilith scratches the back of her neck. Euryale stands behind them all, feeling like a...is it possible to be a 4th wheel?*

~Free City of Bervenia~

*As explained before, they trudge through the river without incident, & arrive at the city of Bervenia. It being the middle of the night, there are several tall buildings around, but not many people.*

Mortal turns around, and motions to Euryale, "This is Euryale, my love."

Zac smiled, and extended a hand to her, "Hello. I woke up today thinking I had one sister, now I have three."

Sab quietly raised her hand, "I'm with Noctis, by the way."

"See, didn't I say you should meet her!" Zac said with a smile.

Being the middle of the night, they go to the inn.

Tavernmaster<Can I get the pair of ya fixed up with anything?>

*Euryale shakes his hand.*

E"I haven't heard as much about you, because I've only recently moved in, but it is nice to meet you all the same."

L"So, all of you stuck together since that day?"

E"Yes. And what have you been up to?"

L"Being used & discarded by corrupt politicians, mostly. What about you? Please tell me you haven't tried to go through with...that thing we talked about last time?"

"And we succeeded," Mortal said triumphantly.

Noct let out a sigh, "Perhaps we shouldn't tell anyone who asks what we've done."

"But, isn't she your... I suppose our brother's friend," Mortal said.

"What exactly happened?"

"We killed Bremondt," Mortal answered, causing Noct to let out another sigh.

"Of the church?" Zac asked, "And I thought our escapades were blasphemous."

Azuma: "A room for the night would be nice."

Taiyo: "Pair? There's three of us."
