*Lekismon ducks*

Lekismon:<Let's get out of here.>

*They head back to the village, making sure to watch out for other gourds*

*The enraged Red Vegimon jumps on Lekismon's back & begins pummeling her with its arm things.*

Lillymon<Get back to the temple! I'll deal with this!>

Senthose<There's really no need to put on a show of escaping.>

*As the Digimon attempt to run away, a helicopter flies over the jungle, spraying machinegun bullets. Most of them strike trees, blowing large splinters off, but enough hit their mark. Several ToyAgumon & Geckomon revert to data, the man absorbing them somehow.*

Lillymon<Flower Cannon!>

*When Lillymon puts her hands together, forming a cannon with the petals, the mercenary pulls out a pistol & fires it into her side. A spray of binary rapidly leaks from the wound.*

Senthose<An Ultimate is a little more than I can usually deal with. Good thing I came prepared.>

*Euryale & Agumon also go over. As Agumon begins climbing a tree, a trio of Coelamon emerge from the stream behind them. The Coelamon have strange red blotches emerging from their heads, chests, & arms. Two spit Water Bullets at Euryale's & Taiyo's backs, & the third slashes several times with its claws, sending arcs of white energy at Agumon from behind.*

*Lekismon throws him to the side of the path then continues to run*

Azuma: "Patamon!"

Patamon Digivolves, Angemon attacking Senthose with Heaven's Knuckle.

Salamon jumps from Hitomi's arms. She hesitates, but slashes the Digivolution card followed by Cocytus Breath, Gatomon attacking Senthose with it.

Renamon darts towards Taiyo in a presumably vain attempt to shield her.

*Not long after they Digivolve, their Digivolved forms break apart, & they revert back to Rookie. Senthose sidesteps the Cocytus Breath & advances on Salamon with surprising speed, pulling a blade out of his boot with the aim of stabbing Salamon. In spite of her obvious pain, Lillymon shoots the rotors of the helicopter. It sprouts a plume of black smoke & lists towards the abyss, but not before several soldiers parachute towards the jungle.*

*Fortunately, Euryale notices in time, & uses the Brave Shield to shield all 3 of them. Agumon is struck & falls from the tree sporting several deep gashes.*
====================================
*Red Vegimon will not be moved. It clings to her & wrestles her to the ground, biting her neck.*

*Lekismon attempts to get on top on Red Vegimon before stabbing at it with a Tear Arrow*

Salamon backs off as Patamon attacks Senthose with Boom Bubble. Azuma shoulder checks Senthose.

Renamon attacks the Coelamon with Diamond Storm.

*It is not possible to get on top of it, however it does react to the stab by making distance. Severely mauled, Lekismon is sporting several gashes.*

*Senthose ducks, grappling Azuma & throwing him into the path of the Boom Bubble. Azuma is stunned & cannot move. He then sidesteps a Flower Cannon that blows chunks of brick out of the path.*

<Destroy her.>

*The Woodmon advance, & Lillymon takes to the air. Meanwhile, the soldiers open fire on Salamon & Patamon.*

*These mostly just chink off of their hard armor. Euryale runs forward, throwing herself & the shield over the wounded Agumon as a Coelamon pelts it with razor sharp scales. A few strike her legs, cutting them up. The other 2 leap at Renamon.*

*Kylie starts healing Lekismon, while the others slowly back away*

Patamon flies up into a tree.

Azuma: "Find the others!"

Salamon and Hitomi take off down a path one group went down earlier.

Taiyo swipes the Thor's Hammer card. Renamon swings the hammer at the encroaching Coelamon.

*The mercenary grabs Hitomi's shoulder.*

Senthose<Do you really think I'll just let you leave?>

*This cracks its shell & slams it into a tree, but the other one bites her neck. Meanwhile, Euryale tries to curl up under the shield & use her D-Power to restore Agumon. It isn't easy, as the Coelamon begins trying to pull it off of her.*

*Still mad, the Red Vegimon spits more goop at Lekismon.*

Reflexively, Hitomi turns around and slaps Senthose.

From the trees, Patamon fires a Boom Bubble at Senthose.

Renamon claws the Coelamon's soft underbelly.

*Lekismon throws another Tear Arrow right back*

*He grabs her wrist before she hits him & casually snaps it as a Woodmon jumps behind him to intercept the Boom Bubble. The other Woodmon dodges a Flower Cannon, then stretches its claws to try & stab the airborne Lillymon. When she strafes, it fuses its claws with a tree, causing them to burst out from higher up, & wrap around her.*

*Now that it has an arrow sticking out of it, the Red Vegimon finally gets the hint, & goes hopping for the bushes, yowling piteously as it does so.*
======================================
*The Coelamon roars, but is still a Champion, & not to be trifled with, so it bites her other side. Meanwhile, Euryale bashes her Coelamon in the jaw with her Brave Shield, startling it & knocking it back.*

"Taiyo, take my D-Power, & keep healing Agumon!"

*She throws the D-Power at Taiyo & swings with the shield again, catching it in the eye.*

*The group heads back to the others, Kylie handing a card to her brother*

Cameron:<What's this?>

Kylie:<My digivolution card. You can borrow it.>

Cameron:<Thanks.>

Kylie;<No problem.>

Hitomi screams. Azuma presumably recovered from the Boom Bubble rushes Senthose.

Salamon runs behind Senthose and attacks with Puppy Howling.

Taiyo catches the D-Power and sets to healing Agumon.

Renamon hits the Coelamon with the Thor's Hammer.

*Lekismon & the others arrive in time to see Senthose let go of Hitomi & effortlessly smacks Azuma aside. A simple backhand sends him sprawling, & he slams into a tree. As he's contemplating how the Hell he did that with such little movement, he notices a device like a purple, squarish D-Power strapped to his wrist. He also notices that, in the same movement, he had snatched Salamon by the back of her throat, disabling her attack, & causing her to gasp, opening her mouth & sticking out her tongue.*

Senthose<So you're the one who talks a lot. Let's see if we can't do something about that.>

*He pinches her tongue with his fingers & pulls. It reverts to data as Senthose chuckles. Nearby, Lillymon degenerates into Palmon, & is dropped by the Woodmon. As she lays there helplessly, the soldiers fire finishing shots, & download the data onto [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]*

Senthose<Take the Woodmon, find their hiding spot, & eliminate them. I will deal with the "Chosen Ones," here.>

*The Coelamon attacking Renamon are badly mangled, but still press on their attack. The other Coelamon catches Euryale's next attack & slips under her shield, biting her leg. She screams, but separates the Brave Shield, taking one half with 2 of her hands & driving it down deep into the Coelamon. Needless to say, it turns to data. The orbs of red goop float off into the sky. When she pokes it with the tip of the other half of the shield, & it begins to break apart, she tosses it aside & falls over, grimacing at the bloody, torn flesh of her leg.*

Salamon flails around and bites his hand.

Azuma pulls himself up from the tree. A look of horror on Hitomi's face.

Azuma: "Let her go!"

Azuma draws his knife and flips it open. He makes another mad rush for Senthose. Patamon flies out of the trees, alongside Azuma.

Renamon brings the hammer down on a Coelamon.

*Kylie scans Aero Wing and Twin Sickles, and Lekismon leaps toward Senthose, slashing with the sickles. Meanwhile, Cameron uses the digivolution card, and gray rings surround biyomon as he great increases in size, becoming Saberdramon*

Saberdramon:<Saberdramon!>

*He flies around to attack Senthose from the rear, using Black Saber*

*Senthose drops Salamon as he slumps against a tree, covered in gashes, though not as deep as they should be. Seeing this, instead of following orders, the soldiers open fire on the Digimon, & the Woodmon stretch their branches out to attack.*

*It dissolves into data, but the other takes a sizable chunk out of her waist. Once healed, Agumon gets up & thanks Taiyo, before firing on it from behind.*

*Lekismon fires a Tear Arrow at Senthose, while Saberdramon uses Night Roar on the Woodmon*

Hitomi grabs Salamon under one arm and carries her off behind Eve and Cameron. Azuma and Patamon follow, Azuma getting to work on healing Patamon.

Renamon absorbs the Coelamon's data then swings the spiked end of the hammer at the other one.

*They do no such thing, as when the Woodmons' attacks get near them, they degenerate back to Rookie. Nonetheless, they stop their attacks when Senthose slowly stands up & raises a hand.*

Senthose<Your orders still stand.>

Sir<But Sir, you've been-->

Senthose<Forced to Digivolve, I'm afraid.>

*Meanwhile, Agumon blasts ice at the remaining Coelamon, & together they destroy it. Agumon turns & runs back to Euryale to grab her waist & support her as she walks.*

A<We should use the Space Oscillation Devices now, you need medical care.>

"No...not until we make sure that the others are okay."

*Now that everything's quiet, they can hear explosions, gunfire, & heavy objects impacting trees echoing through the jungle.*

Patamon: "A human Digivolving?"

Taiyo swipes the Digivolution card, Digivolving Renamon to Kyubimon.

Taiyo: "Get her on Kyubimon."

She goes to Euryale's side to help her up.

*Kylie stares at Senthose*

*The digimon head back to there partners*
