Old Ones Return (III)

*They bounce arond the cave, still shrieking, & waving their ears around.*

*Wizardmon waves the staff in Lekismon's general direction.*

D<We. Are not. Friends.>

T"More importantly, we still don't know what you want."

D<That's important?>

"Several times. The park comes to mind."

Lekismon:<What...What do you mean we're not friends?>

*Lekismon's voice quivers, but then she steadies it*

<Euryale needs you to preform a quick spell. She's down a set of stairs that way.>

*She points in the direction of said stairs, before flying off to one of the mountains out of sight. Once there, she sets down Kylie before sitting next to her*

Biyomon:<We're really not going to hurt you,please calm down.>

Cameron:<Maybe we should get out of here.>

Azuma: "Yeah, I wasn't present for that, so..."

Patamon: "They're taking a long time."

Taiyo: "We can't just leave them here."

T"I think you upset them."

D<Whatever. Tell me where they are with that fancy map of yours, teleporting is hard, so I'd rather only do it once.>

*Thiera does so.*

"Well, maybe--"

*Euryale is cut off mid-sentence as Wizardmon & Thiera appear in a puff of blue-black smoke.*

D<So, does someone want to explain what's going on here?>

Azuma: "Was our emissary not good enough?"

*Lekismon reverts to Lunamon, who Kylie places on her lap*

Lunamon:<I thought we were friends....>

Kylie:<I know, me too.>

OOC: Are they dumb?

D<They weren't making the slightest amount of sense, I barely got something about coming here & shooting off lightning.>

E"Well, there are some machines down below, which we think we can re-power if we have some electricity."

T"Are you sure that's a good idea?"

D<I can always shut the power back off right away, so I say we go for it.>

*Her staff begins glowing to light the way, & then she heads down below, with Euryale & Thiera following.*

E"With this many abilities, do you even WANT to use the Blue Card?"

Azuma: "I'd consider it a contingency plan."

Azuma stands up, brushing his pants off then just stares off in the distance.

Azuma: "Wonder how the others are doing."

Patamon: "More like wondering how Hi-to-mi's doing."

Azuma: "I take all my comrades into consideration. Just not equally."

He follows them back down the stairs.

*Kylie hugs Lunamon*

<We shouldn't stay here alone.>

Lunamon:<Who cares. We seem almost done anyway.>

*Once they get down there, after some fumbling around, they find the antenna.*

D<Well...here goes nothing....>

*She touches it & a bolt of lightning emerges from her hand & into the antenna. Suddenly, the monitor lights up, clanging is heard from the pipes, & the gears start spinning. Lights overhead turn on. Euryale heads back to the monitor & plugs her D-Power in. Pushing buttons on it, she is able to bring up an image of the mountains on the main screen. After a second or two, pieces of landmass begin moving all over the place. Bridges re-arrange themselves in midair on a timed pattern. Water flows from the peaks down pipes, into craters to form lakes, & then cycle back through new pipes. Several staircases & ledges slide out from the cliff faces.*

E"This is amazing! What was this place built for?"

Azuma: "Some kind of habitat? Assuming the power doesn't give out or they can maintain it, this might be a good place for the villagers."

*Lunamon starts to cry into Kylie's jacket*

<I was so excited that they were back too....>

Kylie:<I know.>

T"Wow...I would love to study these machines!"

D<Yeah, they're neat, are we done yet?>

T"How can you not be fascinated by this?"

D<Because I'm not a nerd. Can we go now?>

E"Alright, let's go topside, see if there's anything left to do before heading home."

Azuma: "Regroup with the others?"

Kylie:<I'm your friend, Cameron and Biyomon are, along with the rest of the guys.>

*Lunamon shakes her head and continues to cry*

E"I guess so."

*And so they head back up, at which point Agumon Digivolves to help Euryale.*

D<I'll just teleport Thiera & me back to the starting place.>

T"Actually, it's 'Thiera &--"

*And so she does so.*

*Cameron and Biyomon continue to shepherd the Pagumon along*

*Kylie gives her jacket to Lunamon*

Azuma: "Anyone get any pictures of this place before we skidaddle?"

The others follow, Renamon staying at the back of the group this time around.

*The Pagumon are still running around, still shrieking.*

*Euryale looks around.*

"Who are you talking to?"

Azuma: "Myself, apparently."

He and Patamon walk out.

Biyomon:<We really aren't going to eat you!>

*Biyomon tries to pick up a few Pagumon*

*Lunamon digivolves to Lekismon, and Kylie uses Hyper Wing. They then head back to the meeting area*

*It just shrieks in Biyomon's arms.*

"Okay, well, could you put that on hold until we find everyone else? Do you need a ride?"

*They are presumably flying to the plateau where Thiera & Wizardmon are.*

<Shh, don't worry. Please.>

*Biyomon picks up another one*

Azuma: "Not while I got Angemon big, strong arms."

Patamon: "That's more weird than flattering. Yes, he does."

*Euryale waits for them to either climb on or do their own thing before taking off.*

"We're going to go get Taiyo & the others, because they seem to be doing something."
