Homecoming

Taiyo: "I'm sure we'll be fine."

"Well, you have a beautiful voice that makes me listen," Sab said, "So I suppose I remember the things you say." She giggled a bit, "I'm sorry, that was pretty corny. I did warn you though."

*Monu gets back to the apartment, and closes the door. He doesn't say anything, as Monu sees Cameron is on the phone*

"I will be available all day, so you may want to negotiate the time of your visit with your friends. Also, your number and the number of Ms. Cyprus have been the only ones I have found so far," Grimm said. "If you would like, you may bring others that were on the trip, or at least let them know that I have contacted you."
Grimm then gave the address of the church and bid Cameron farewell before ending the call.

"So... this guy wants to talk to us about our experience, huh," Hector said, scratching his chin. "I guess he might want to offer some kind of council. Or he might want to get some kind of wild story out of us and sell it to make us look like loons."
"Maybe but... I don't know, I feel like I really want to get the story off of my chest to someone," Astarte shrugged. "And not Dad. There's no way he would understand or believe us."
"And this priest guy will?" Hector asked, frowning.
"Maybe? He sounded pretty genuine," Astarte said, looking at the floor and also frowning. "But I want to go. I think we should go."
Hector continued to frown at her, then sighed and shrugged, "I guess we could check him out. I really hope we don't regret it."

Monu:<Here. Who were you talking to?>

*Monu tosses the food to Cameron*

Cameron:<Thanks. Some guy named father Grimm. He wants to talk to us tomorrow.>

*Monu shrugs*

Monu:<Catch!>

*Monu tosses Astarte's phone number to Cameron*

Cameron:<Thanks man!>

"Warned me about what?"

*The food comes.*

"Well, what we could do is pick one up on the way."

*Euryale takes a large bite, chewing & swallowing quickly.*

"Mmm...It's been way too long since I've had real food."

Taiyo: "I hope you don't mind if I'm not under it with you."

Taiyo takes a spoonful, her eyes widen.

Taiyo: "This is great."

"That'd I'd talk your ear off about how cute you are," Sab said.

*Euryale frowns.*

"You...are you trying to tell me something?"

"You're not half bad yourself."

Sab looked down at her gooey sunshine and smiled, then leaned over and kissed Aroma's cheek, "Thank you."

*Cameron calls Astarte*

{Hey, Astarte, this is Cameron. Did some man named Father Grimm ust call you?}

Taiyo: "No? I said I like being in the rain. Feeling the water on my skin and getting wet."

*Euryale tries to hide the fact that she's now thinking about Taiyo getting wet.*

"Honey, I think you're overestimating the coverage of your average umbrella."

"No, thank you."

*She stretches.*

"I'm stuffed. I think I'm gonna turn in for the night."

Taiyo: "I assumed you'd want to pick one up both of us can fit under."

"I meant picking mine up from the dorms. Though we can both fit under it, if we snuggle really close."

Taiyo puts a finger to her chin in thought. On one hand, she gets to frolick in the rain which she could likely do on the way to the dorm, but on the other she gets to snuggle up real close to Euryale which she hadn't done since the cabin.

Taiyo: "Okay."

*As I am obviously working towards a timeskip after Astarte is done with her godbothering nonsense, we skip to the end of the meal. The duo splits the bill & heads out.*

<Come again!>

"Thanks, it was great!"

Taiyo: "Thank you!"

Once outside, Taiyo quickly heads out into the open, basking in the rain.

Taiyo: "It feels like it's been forever since I could last do this."

"Uh, hello, yeah he did," Astarte answered. "I'm thinking I'll go see him. How did you, um, get my number?"
Hector jabbed a thumb at his chest before turning and heading to the kitchen. Eduj stayed on the couch and watched whatever happened to be on the television.

*Euryale smiles, in site of herself. Soft, rolling thunder can be heard overhead as she heads out to join Taiyo.*

*That would be whatever Astarte left it on.*

Taiyo spins around, throwing her arms around Euryale and kisses her.

*Euryale is surprised, & doesn't really know what to do.*

{Hector gave it to Monu who gave it to me. Sorry if that's kind of creepy.}

"Oh, that's okay, I was just kind of confused," Astarte said. "But yeah... do you want to see this guy with us tomorrow? And when?"

"Same," Sab said, putting away the dishes, and changing into PJs. When Sab slides into her bed she rests on her side and sees Aroma's bed. As a swell of longing rises in her she turns over and tries to get some sleep.
