Homecoming

Taiyo pulls back.

Taiyo: "What's wrong?"

"You just, surprised me, is all. You've gotta ease into these things."

*She puts her arms on Taiyo's shoulders, then leans in, speaking more quietly.*

"Don't commit too quickly. Invite her...to come...to you...."

{Sure, why don't we go together?}

"Sounds alright," Astarte nodded though he couldn't see her. "Do you want to go in, I don't know, about mid day?"

{Sounds like a plan. Wanna meet outside the church?}

"I guess, yeah," Astarte nodded. "Anyway, I'm going to get dinner, so we'll see you tomorrow. Bye."
Astarte ended the call, and moved to the dinner table as Sidon set out pasta.

*Cameron falls back on the couch*

<This is the best day ever! Hey, wait, you only only went to Mcdonald's?>

*Monu shrugs, having already started reading this book again*

Taiyo: "Sorry...I'm just having a really good time and um..."

She trails off for a moment thinking of what to say next then shakes her head.

Taiyo: "Shall we be going?"

*Euryale frowns & follows along. At some point, the night becomes a blur, which eventually fades into the next day. Euryale wakes up in her dorm & makes some toast, intent on heading to the gym after she gets ready.*

*It being the weekend, Nero is off meeting with his parents to get a replacement phone, since his hasn't worked since they left the forest. Alone with no classes, Roatha heads out for a walk.*

*After hearing all of these monster claims, Senthose decided to head to the library & look up the mythology of the area.*

*Aroma, of course, wakes up in her dorm room, & begins making eggs. They've used a lot recently, so she'll have to head out & get some more later.*

*It's about an hour until noon, so if Astarte is planning on adding any more people to the deranged god-bothering trip, she'd better do it now.*

Being the weekend, Taiyo opts to sleep in.

Azuma wakes up to watch cartoons while Mimiru heads to the gym.

Astarte had barely slept, and was just now dressing after a hot bath. Hector was still asleep, and Eduj was back at his own place. She got a glass of milk and decided to call Euryale, to at least let her know what was going on. Being of a different religion, she didn't know if Euryale would approve. She dialed her number.

*When Euryale picks up, there's a weird static in the background.*

"Astarte? What's up?"

*Euryale obviously isn't at the gym yet, so when Mimiru arrives there, there is probably no one that she recognizes.*

Not caring one way or the other about any other gym goers, Mimiru changes out into a t-shirt and shorts, wraps her hands up, dons a pair of earphones and goes to town on a punching bag once in the gym itself.

"I just realized I should let you know that some guy contacted me and Cameron about... getting lost, and stuff," Astarte said. "He is a priest and apparently he believes that there are monsters out there or something. He wants to talk to us about it."

"You want to go meet with a strange man who believes in monsters?"

"Um... sort of," Astarte hesitated. "I feel like telling somebody about what happened who might believe me, and I at least want to know why he wants our information..."

"I still don't really think it's a good idea. But if you insist, I'll go too. To make sure it's as safe as possible."

"Okay, I'm sure it will be fine," Astarte said entirely without conviction. "I was going to meet Cameron there in a little under an hour though, so this might be short notice..."

*Cameron is getting dressed*

*Monu is sitting in a cafe, drinking coffee*

*Tirea heads for the gym*

*Eve heads out to see if she can find Thiera*

Noctis, Gabe, and Mortal are having breakfast at the cafeteria.

Sab stirs then finally wakes up to the smell of eggs. She lets out a yawn, "Good morning."

"It's fine, I'll just skip the gym. I'm almost done with my shower, anyway."

"Morning, Sleepyhead! Do you want me to make you anything?"

*Roatha runs into Thiera & she persuades him to head to the cafeteria to get some breakfast with her. Since this is pretty close to the dorms, Eve spots this interaction.*

*Cameron puts on us jacket and heads out to meet Astarte. Monu catches up with him on the way*

*Upon arriving at the gym, Tirea waves and runs over to Mimiru*

<Good morning!>

*Eve walks over to the pair*

<Good morning.>

"Um, no thank you," Sab said, between a yawn, "Oh, some apple juice would be nice actually, but I can just get that myself."

"I'm telling you, I don't remember the guy," Mortal said.

"You talk to him, how could you not?" Noct said, "Remember, at the bar, after I punched that guy? You remember, right Gabe?"

Gabe nodded, "Yea, so, he is your friend now?"

Mortal shrugged, "Nope, still nothing."

"You're hopeless," Noct said, "And anyway, I suppose you could say that."

T"Oh, hey. We're just about to go to the cafeteria."

*Aroma frowns, getting out a cup, & heading over to the fridge to pull out the apple juice carton.*

"You know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day."

"I'm sure it isn't THE most important," Sab said, "I ate before going to sleep, so I'm not hungry. I'll just eat later."

"So, all you did with the guy was talk about how people are assholes, then he watched you hit on some girl?" Mortal asked, "Why don't you have more friends again?"

"It was.. more than that, kinda..." Noct crossed her arms, "I mean, everything sounds silly when you say it like that."
