Homecoming

"Well, okay then, we'll meet you there soon," Astarte said. She gave the address before hanging up and finishing her glass of milk. By now Hector was up and had a quick shower, then they left together.

<May I join you? I haven't eaten yet.>

*Monu and Cameron head to where they were to meet Astarte*

R"Sure, why not?"

*Euryale finishes getting ready & heads out.*

*Aroma puts the juice away after pouring some, & hands the glass to Sab, frowning at her.*

Astarte and Hector met Eduj on the way to the church and ended up standing outside of it. The double doors were slightly ajar, but they did not go straight in. They waited for the others.

*Eve follows them into the cafeteria*

*Cameron and Monu meet up with Astarte and friends*

Cameron:<Astarte, hey.>

*Cameron blushes. Monu waves to everyone*

Mimiru doesn't hear her, but eventually does see her. She steadies the bag then removes her earphones.

Mimiru: "Hey."

<How are you?>

Mimiru: "Good. Yourself?"

*Euryale arrives on the scene.*

"Hello. Is this everyone?"

*She also looks around, trying to see any signs or anything that might give her a clue about the church's political/social leanings.*

*At the cafeteria, Roatha gets some chocolate Pop-Tarts. Thiera, looking highly disapproving of his antics, acquires toast, a few sausages, & a pair of sunny side up eggs. They take their trays & sit down near Noctis's group.*

T"So how have you been since we got back?"

R"Okay. Haven't been sleeping too well, though."

T"Really? Why not?"

R"I keep having this weird dream where I'm watching Nero & myself through the window, & we're talking about thinking that someone is spying on us...don't look at me like that. I'm sure it's nothing. I really shouldn't have said--"

T"I've been having strange dreams too. But like you said, I'm sure it's probably nothing. I...just wanted to know that I'm not alone."

*She eats a piece of egg.*

There is no indication besides a sign over the door that reads in bold black letters, 'Love of God be with you.'
"I guess," Hector replied. He looked to Astarte, who nodded. "Shall we just head on in?"

*Eve grabs some waffles then goes to join the other two*

<I too have been having strange dreams.>

Cameron:<Sure, let's go.>

<I'm fine. How's Azuma?>

*She giggles*

Sab looks worried, "What's wrong?" She takes the glass a bit apprehensively.

Gabe looks up at the new people who walked in, but doesn't do much after determining that she doesn't know who they are, then pats Noct on the shoulder, "Hey, I think it is good that you're making friends."

"Thanks Gabe," Noct said, "At least someone is supportive."

Mimiru: "Still stupid."

T"I guess being lost in the forest with strange--"

*She glances sideways at Noct's group.*

T"--Animals will do that to you."

*Roatha shakes his head, grinning nostalgically.*

R"Those foxes sure did love to scream."

"Alright."

*Euryale just walks right in.*

"Nothing, it's just...you know it's been over 12 hours since you last ate, right?"

<I agree. Although just being lost in the forest would probably give you nightmares.>

*Eve eats some of her waffles*

<I suppose we're all still stressed out.>

*Cameron and Monu follow Euryale*

Mimiru: "Sure."

She states her number and Azuma's for good measure.

Astarte, Hector and Eduj followed Euryale. They would find a very tall, broad-shouldered man in the typical charcoal black outfit of a priest standing between the two front pews, a broom held in one hand.
"Welcome," He said. "I am Father Isaac Grimm. I assume you are all here to see me?"

E"Seems that way. Euryale. Just Euryale, for now."

R"Not really. With the exception of the late night shenanigans, I've more-or-less forgotten everything."

*He looks at Thiera, who raises an eyebrow.*

R"More-or-less."

*He looks back down, taking a bite of Pop-Tart.*

"I suppose you don't entirely trust me," Grimm said. "But I quite understand. I am a stranger to each of you, and especially following what befell you all in that forest... it is quite appropriate. Perhaps you would like some tea and a nice place to sit?"

Cameron:<Sure.>

<I suppose, it all seems like a horrible dream now.>

*She then goes to work on something near Mimiru*

*Euryale folds her arms.*

"I'm fine, thank you."

R"Hey, you wanna give me Euryale's number?"

*Thiera raises her eyebrow again.*

R"...Why are you looking at me like that?"

<I can give it to you. Speaking of which, could I get both of your numbers?>

Sab frowns, realizing that Aroma was worrying over her, "If it'll put your mind at ease I'll eat something." Sab smiled a bit, hoping Aroma would too, "I don't want you to worry about something I can easily fix. If you want me to eat, I'll eat."

Mortal leans in a bit and says quietly, "Is it me, or are these people talking about sex pretty obviously. Screaming foxes, late-night shenanigans, and getting someone's number... wait, I know Euryale, wasn't that the girl from the gym?"

Gabe nods her head, "Yea, that would mean that those are more people from that accident."

Mimiru puts her earphones back in and resumes what she was doing.

Azuma puts the cartoons on pause and goes to the cafeteria for some breakfast.

"But now I'm worried that I'm making you eat when you don't want to."

*Thiera chokes on some apple juice, then turns.*

T"No, no, you've got it all wrong, we haven't slept together!"

R"Yes we have. With Astarte & Nero, in fact."

*She turns to glare at him.*

R"...Oh, you mean that as a euphemism, don't you? Why can't you just say, 'sex,' it's so much easier."

T"It is not easy! I am not easy!"

R"That isn't what I said."
