"She could be bisexual," Mortal said.

R"Well, yeah, I was trying to be subtle. Also I didn't really pay much attention to her...that sounds bad. It's just that Thiera kept saying that she needed rest, so I didn't want to bother her with anything. Or invade her privacy."

*Roatha scratches her head & looks towards Noctis's welcome topic change.*

R"I don't know, I'm not the best at small talk. I told some girl yesterday that I missed a few weeks because I was 'busy being dead.' I'm not sure if she got the reference."

*She goes about trying to make a sandwich with it, covering it up in lettuce & various condiments.*

"I'm gonna have to take a trip to the store today."

*Eve goes up to the girl*

<Excuse me, have you seen a blond girl wearing white in here? My friend's disappeared.>

Azuma: "I tell people that all the time. Although I'm usually not trying to make small talk."

"Might have been a bit too subtle for her, especially if she didn't know about what happened," Noct said, "Some people are too oblivious to check the news."

"You tell people you're dying all the time?" Mortal asked, a bit confused.

<She went in one of the stalls.>

*Roatha looks like he's just realized the answer to some important riddle.*

*Eve starts checking each stall*

A bit curious as to what Roatha just discovered, Noct asks, "What?"

"Hmm, quite disturbing... Do you remember any details about this 'Stefan'?" Grimm asked. "Also, you mentioned multiple monsters. What were the others like?"

"That would be lovely."

"Go away, I'm going to the bathroom!"

"I remember most everything about him, it's like it didn't affect us. And the only other one I know about was this big winged, muscular thing. Covered in what looked like white fur."

*She gestures to her jugular.*

"I stabbed it right here. I hurt it, but I don't think I killed it. Either that's not where its arteries are, or it has some kind of anti-bleeding defense. Oh, there were also these balls of light that would sometimes lead us in the wrong direction, but I'm not sure if those count."

Cameron:<And somehow foxes may tie into all of this. Not sure how though. they seemed to show up when the shadow monster did.>

Azuma: "Often enough, yes."

Mortal just shrugged, "Uh, alright then."

Noct looked confused, "Why?"

"Great," Sab said, "When are we going?"

"Interesting... interesting..." Grimm sipped at his tea again. "Did this 'Stefan' leave behind any possessions?"

"The foxes are just foxes, stop saying that."

"I don't like that implication... but yes, I am gay," Noct said.

Azuma just wordlessly eats his breakfast, the conversation taking on a whole 'nother direction.

*Eve taps her foot impatiently*

"A Christian, then?" Grimm finished his tea and looked down at the bottom of his cup. "This is all most... concerning. There are many who would dismiss your claims, but I feel you are telling the truth. The fear radiating from Ms. Cyprus is almost tangible."
He gestured to Astarte, who looked at her feet.
"My suspicions have been well validated," He continued. "Though I am not sure of how to react to this situation."

"Fine. What do you want?"

"I'd say just ignore it. Those things are bad news, & probably unbeatable. The Shadow, we tried stabbing it, punching it, & dousing it with mystically consecrated water, nothing even phased it. I'm told it was also hit by lightning & shot with some kind of 'special bullet,' but that only put it out of commission for about as long as the common cold."

*And so soon she finishes breakfast & is brushing her teeth. She leans out of the bathroom.*

"Huh 'Ab, wot do yu tink I shud wear today?"

Grimm cocked an eyebrow at 'mystically consecrated water' but did not comment on it, "Hmm... You may be right. Though if an incident such as this were to repeat something must be done about it. We must also consider the possibility that these creatures are not restricted to the depths of the woods. But now I know that there is something there, which I believe is important. I must thank you deeply for sharing what you know with me."
"No problem," Hector said.
"Would anybody else like some tea?" Grimm asked, pouring himself a second cup.

*Monu takes a cup*

"Don't worry about it," Noct said.

"Uh, gimme a sec to check the weather," Sab said, then opened up her laptop to check the actual weather while also opening a window and checking how it felt outside.

"I don't like it either, but that doesn't mean anything can be done about it. If it survives lightning, there's pretty much nothing short of a heavy artillery strike left to try."
