Homecoming

Grimm watched Roatha charge away and turned back to Eduj, who was still just standing there, "Your friend is an obnoxious fool, you had best make sure he doesn't hurt himself, or get in trouble."
Eduj stared at him, then walked around him and after Roatha. Grimm entered the church.

"Yeah," Astarte said quietly, knocking back some more of her drink.

They set off to find a groundskeeper.

Taiyo eventually lays down and falls asleep.

*Roatha attempts to tackle Senthose, grappling him around the shoulders.*

R"I got him! Eduj, grill him about the video!"

*After a brief struggle, Senthose shoves Roatha off of him. When he tries it again, Senthose just grabs his shoulder & throws him to the ground.*

R"I don't got him! It's up to you now!"

*Senthose turns to glare at Eduj, daring him to try something.*

S"What the Hell is this?"

*Presumably they're just kind of making random circles around the building. Luckily, this leads them to a small forest behind the building. They spot someone in a blue-grey jumpsuit sweeping leaves & pine needless off of the walking path.*

"What about after the meet?"

Sab lets out a yelp and grabs Aroma's hand, meanwhile Noct steps between Eduj and Senthose, "Don't come any closer."

"I have no idea what he is doing," Eduj said. "Did you stalk two girls and video them having sex?"

"I don't know," Astarte said, looking at her glass.

Noct is offended, "Hey, go fuck yourself."

Eduj shrugged, "The question was more directed as that guy behind you."

They approach the groundskeeper.

Azuma: "Excuse us, but do you mind if we borrow a ladder?"

*He leans on his broom thing.*

*Aroma jumps behind Sab, then realizes that she's trying to hide behind her girlfriend, so she steps back out in front of her. Still nervous, she clutches onto her with her free arm.*

S"Let me answer that question with a savage beating."

R"After you asked us all of those questions in the library, someone sent us a video of Taiyo & Euryale having sex."

S"So you think that you can find out who it was by tackling random people, & the other one thinks that anyone is just going to fess up to it. You are both incurably retarded."

*Roatha gets up & puts his face less than an inch from Senthose's, squinting at him.*

R"So what would you suggest? If you were...thinking like the perpetrator?"

S"Shut up. Have the police trace where it was sent from. Or let me guess, you don't want to do that, because you think it was traced by forest monsters?"

R"Hey...fuck you."

"Maybe we should find out a little more about our living arrangements. I could show you around my dorm."

Azuma: "Uh...no."

Mimiru: "Then can you help us out?"

"Um, I don't know," Astarte creased her brow a little.

Eduj did nothing.

"I'm sorry about your friends, but it wasn't anyone here," Noct said, putting faith in Senthose, "Try telling them to close their curtains. Anyway, you're little stunt just fucked up what was an otherwise pleasant day, and probably made the track meet something that is going to be nothing but awkward."

Sab calmed down a bit when it seemed like everything was under control, and tried to be strong for Aroma.

*He shrugs.*

R"Like we're going to go. This guy is just going to record Thiera...eating a hotdog, or something."

*He points at Senthose.*

R"In fact...Thiera did say that it had to be more than one person. What if this is some kind of a setup?"

S"Do you have any idea how paranoid you sound? Are you sure this even happened?"

R"Don't play dumb with me, we still have the videos to prove it...the non-sexy variety, so don't get any ideas."

*Roatha digs out his phone, presses on the screen a few times, & then stares at it blankly. Senthose leans forward to see Roatha scrolling through messages from Nero, Euryale, & Thiera, but not finding the one from the strange number.*

R"That can't be...someone deleted it! It's not in my call history, either!"

S"Oh wow. Are you done yet?"

Azuma: "Our frisbee got caught in a tree. Figured we'd borrow a ladder and get it without much hassle, but since we need a permission slip, I guess we have to bother you to help us out."

"I live with my dad, so, yeah..."

Eduj raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything.

Noct began walking down the road, completely done with this, "Nice seeing you again, Roatha. Do keep in touch."

Sab looked from what was going on to Noct then to Aroma, "I think we should leave."

*Eve follows Euryale*

<Could we ask the school?>

E"No, I don't think they would tell us. I'm sure that someone in this building has at least seen her before."

*She digs her phone out of her pocket.*

E"One second, it's Roatha. Try looking for other people to ask, I'll catch up."

*Thiera nods, then heads off down the hall.*

*Aroma looks at Roatha curiously, then begins to leave Sab after Noctis. Roatha grabs Senthose's coat as he tries to walk away.*

R"Hold it right there!"

S"Damn it, what now?"

R"Don't you see? It's so obvious! Euryale deleted it from my phone because she wouldn't want anyone else to have access to it. I'll just call her up, &...."

*He starts dialing.*

<All right, which tree?>

Azuma: "A fairly tall one close to the dorms. Not hard to miss."

*Eve nods and follows Thiera, looking for someone to ask*

*Cameron, finished with class, heads back to his apartment, and gets in the shower*

"I guess..." Astarte knocked back the last of her drink.

Eduj waited.

Noct wasn't waiting up, "If you want to wait here for this, be my guest. I'm leaving."

Sab looks between Senthose, Roatha, Noct and Aroma, "Should we wait?"

A"Uhh...I think that we should...umm...."

R"Shh!"

*Roatha puts it on speaker.*

R"Hey, Euryale, remember those stalker videos we're looking into?"

E"Yeah."

R"Can you send me the link to one? Not the 3rd, for...obvious reasons."

E"Yeah, sure...wait...that's odd...all the records are deleted from my phone."

R"What? Okay, calm down, I'm sure Taiyo just--"

E"No, I haven't left this out of my sight! How...this isn't possible!"

*Senthose yanks his coat away & continues following Noctis as Roatha continues trying to calm down Euryale.*

*They reach the end of the hall without seeing anyone, & are forced to turn back.*

T"Let's take the elevator down, there's bound to be somebody on the lower floors."

"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm going to get something to eat before we head up there."

*Nero orders a steak & fries, like a boss.*

Astarte did not, but got another drink. She got a message notification.

Hector, still sitting nearby, slipped his phone back into his pocket.

Eduj stood, arms folded, and sighed.

They point out the tree they were looking at earlier. Or lead the groundskeeper to it if they can't just point and say "that one".
