The New Zodiac Braves

Taiyo steps in closer to Aroma, checking to make sure she doesn't step on her feet.

Taiyo: "Not at all."

Azuma makes faces at the people who grimace. When they come to the two, they just stop and observe. A smile appears on Taiyo's face when she sees the two. Azuma whispers to Mimiru.

Azuma: "The stupid part comes after their dance."

*Cassandra and Safian each grab a plate then look around for somewhere to sit*

*Aroma appears to have at least some formal dance instruction, as she's able to keep pace with Taiyo relatively well, though she doesn't try the graceful twirls that some others do. Nearby, the 2 noble girls stalk off.*

<...Well, I think she cleans up pretty well. Don't know if I'd take her out dancing, but I could understand loving a peasant if she looked like that.>

*Euryale rolls her eyes & sighs at the guy who thinks he's whispering.*

L"Listen, I'm sorry that--"

*Euryale shakes her head.*

E"Go out there & dance, you've been practicing a lot for this. One of us should stick to it. I'll be fine."

*The chairs that would usually be surrounding the table are now scattered throughout the floor. Some are in this room, some in the foyer.*

*Safian and Cassandra sit down in random chairs, and begin to eat*

Safian:<This is better than expected.>

Cassandra:<Kinda.>

As they dance, Taiyo keeps glancing down to ensure she doesn't step on Aroma's feet.

Azuma: "I had forgotten she could dance so well off of the battlefield."

"Why don't you go out there?" Mortal said, still a bit angry, "You were practicing too, so why shouldn't you dance. You're just as good as anyone else who is dancing."

*Euryale stares at her feet.*

E"I'd...already chickened out even before they came."

L"...Don't you punch Behemoths in the mouth?"

*Meanwhile, Aroma is swooning. She pulls in closer to Taiyo, practically whispering into her ear.*

<How about a slow dance?>

Taiyo: "Um...okay."

Mortal frowned, and said, "What are you scared about? It'll be fine, I'll go out there with you, if you want."

E"I wanted to ask you, but...I'm just so embarrassed."

L"Don't be, I was going to ask Zac to awkwardly shuffle around with me."

*Aroma rests her head on Taiyo's shoulder as they move to & fro.*

"Don't be embarrassed," Mortal said, "It'll be fine. We're just having fun."

"I would love to, by the way," Zac said.

Taiyo takes occasional glances down at the floor, still worried about stepping on Aroma's feet.

Azuma: "This has got me thinking..."

Mimiru: "Try anything and I will drop you where you stand."

Taiyo giggles and soon enough the other two partake in the dancing. Mimiru's grip on Azuma's hand tighter than it needs to be. Azuma takes the lead, his strides longer than needed to avoid getting his feet stepped on. Intentionally or not.

Mimiru: "Since when could you dance?"

Azuma: "My name still had some meaning to it. My mother insisted. If we ever go to Goug, my brother could tell you lots of stories."

<Taiyo, I don't mean to break the mood, but...why can your male friend dance?>

*Lilith begins making the steps, sweeping her arms & legs wide. Euryale reluctantly holds out a hand towards Mortal.*

E"Will you...lead the way?"

Taiyo: "I didn't know he could."

Zac awkwardly shuffles around, barely keeping in rhythm.

Mortal smiled and took her hand, "Sure, lets go." With that, she led them out to the dance floor, and tried to mimic some of the stuff she saw Noct doing.

<So, are you having fun now?>

*Lilith twirls, her braid smacking one of the unsuspecting rude chicks from before in the face. People move away from Mortale because they're icky, & possibly dancing poorly, & stare at Azuma like he's a freakshow.*

E"I don't think I say this often enough, but I love you, Mortal."

Taiyo: "Absolutely."

Zac chuckled when Lilith hit some chick with her hair.

Mortal smiled, then said, "That isn't fair. You could tell me that every day and it wouldn't be enough, but my heart does sing every time I hear you say it. I love you too."

*Euryale leans in for a kiss. Aroma, liking where this is heading, attempts the same with Taiyo.*

Taiyo hesitates for a moment. She closes her eyes and kisses Aroma, stepping on her foot in the process.

Mimiru's grip tightens on Azuma's hand, his face turning red to contain himself from shouting or overall verbally expressing his pain.

Mimiru: "I'll eat your heart, mutt."

Azuma: "It's yours to do whatever you please with."

They too partake in the lovefest this shindig has become, Mimiru's hold on Azuma's hand loosening.

Safian:<This party just got weird.>

Mortal leans in as well and begins to kiss Euryale, putting her arms around her waist.

Not one to be outdone on a dance floor, Noct sneaks in a kiss, which Sab happily returns.

And so Zac tries not to pay attention to a bunch of chicks making out. A task made easy by Lilith dancing in front of him.

*Aroma tries to ignore the pain in her foot. Some time after everyone stops making out, the dancing begins to die down. Euryale collapses into a nearby chair, exhausted. Lilith walks over to her.*

L"I'm thinking of getting some food, do you want anything?"

E"No thank you, but a drink would be nice. Tea, if you can find it. Otherwise, water."

Cassandra:<What is it?>

Safian:<Everyone's making out.>

*Cassandra shrugs*

Noct and Zac took a seat next to Euryale before Mortal could. Noct asked, "Would it bother you to get me some water as well?"

Zac stood up, and Mortal quickly took his seat, "I'll go with her. Mortal, Sab, anything you guys want?"

Sab shook her head, but Mortal replied, "Actually... I'm kind of hungry. What do they have?"

Zac shrugged, "I don't know, I'm not a waiter."

"I guess I'll find out myself then," Mortal said, standing back up.
