Making A Comeback

"Who's there?"

Dalia finished her lunch and went back to work.

*Eve hangs up as well as goes back to listening to the broadcast*

Mortal crosses her arms and comes close to pouting, "But... I already got redressed." She looks to Euryale for some help here.

Gabe comes back wearing that dress from before plus a large blue bracelet that matches the color of her dress, and a pair of sapphire earrings.

Noct follows after Ven and asks, "Is everything alright? You look a bit unsure."

E"Sorry, Mortal, I guess I just don't know much about clothes. But I guess that's showbiz for ya, I mean, look how much attention Keter puts into her appearance."

*As she speaks, Keter is peering into the mirror, dabbing at dull spots of her eye shadow. She catches Mortale staring at her.*

Keter<...What?>

V"It's just...the sudden bathing...& the size of the tub...."

*She looks out over the room, at a loss for words.*

*The other guy isn't back yet. The guy on her other side looks up.*

Again he'd hear the sound of Astarte moving away the chair and unlocking the door. She opened it, "Hello."

"I just needed to eat," Dalia said, then got back to work.

Mortal uncrossed her arms, and let out a sigh, "Fine. I'll change. Is there something you recommend for me?"

"So, you're stunned by her wealth?" Noct asked.

<All work & no play makes Jane a dull girl.>

*He turns back to his thing.*

*She scratches her head.*

*Keter heads over to the closet, roots around, & pulls out a red figure-hugging dress, long enough to cover down to slightly below her knees. It has a high neckline, but no sleeves.*

E"Could the neckline be a little lower?"

*She makes a "just a pinch" gesture.*

Keter<...It's not supposed to show off her "dancing dragons.">

*Roatha stands there awkwardly, like a boss.*

"Well, there really isn't anything you can do about it, so I don't see the problem," Noct said, "It may be bigger, but it is still just a bath. I don't see why you would feel weird about bathing."

Mortal leans and whispers to Euryale, "They can be showed off later, just for you." With that, she walks over and gets the dress. "I'm guessing there is a changing room somewhere."

"Do you want to come in?"

Dalia ignored him.

V"...Are you planning to stay in here?"

E"Righteous."

Keter<This is the changing room. I have a limited number of rooms that link off of this one. I suppose I could direct you to one of the bathrooms, or something.>

*The other guy comes back a few minutes later, & also says that she wasn't gone very long.*

"Do you want me to?" Noct asked. "I didn't plan on it, but if it makes you feel more comfortable I'll stay."

Mortal shrugs, "I just didn't feel like getting down to my panties in front of everyone if I didn't have to."

Astarte stepped aside to let him in, "Tea?"

"I ate quickly."

Keter<At the beginning of this hallway, on the right, tucked underneath the staircase, is a guest bathroom. The end of this hall curves to provide access to the right wing of the estate. There is a guest bathroom at the end of THIS hallway, on the right. There is one more guest bathroom on the upstairs level.>

"Then I'll leave you be," Noct said, returning to the group.

Mortal heads to the closest one, and begins changing.

"I don't need to."

"Take a seat, if you'd like," Astarte said, closing and barricading the door behind him. "Would you like something to eat, maybe?"

*He also repeats the all work & no play line, then sits down.*

"No, I'm fine...really."

*He heads towards the living room.*

*Once everyone else is dressed & back in the room, Keter passes around a bottle of perfume.*

Keter<It's a lovely blend of scents, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.>

*Ven also emerges, newly cleaned up & wearing the dress. Keter glances at her.*

Keter<I would like you to wear your braid, if you don't mind. We'll need to be getting out to the press shortly.>

*Ven starts putting her braid together as Keter approaches Euryale, putting some make-up supplies in her arms. She grabs the top of her head, & tilts it back. She then puts a coat of lip gloss on her, then seals the lipstick & puts it in her arms, taking out a ball of powder & giving her a few taps.*

Mortal giggled a bit at Euryale getting the royal treatment. Mortal and Gabe both try out the perfume, enjoying the scent, but Noct doesn't apply any to herself, having already applied a perfume of her own, and knowing that applying anymore would just make her smell weird.

*Tirea puts her head on her knees, and closes her eyes*

*And so Euryale also applies perfume, after having eyeliner put on her by Keter, as Keter moves about everyone else, putting red lipstick, a bit of eyeliner, & blush on them. Then she returns everything to its proper place & sighs, opening the door.*

Keter<Tarrlok...what a--pleasant--surprise.>

Tarrlok<Well, I just couldn't miss the chance to help you with your arguments to the press.>

Keter<I really didn't think that you could.>

*Tirea falls into a light sleep*

Gabe lightly flicks Tirea's nose, "Hey, we're starting now."

*Tirea blinks and stares up at Gabe*

<I'm up.>

"Great," Gabe said with a smile.

*Tirea finds that she is wearing full make-up. Keter is nothing if not efficient. Tarrlok bows.*

*Keter strides out in the direction of the foyer.*
