Mortal smiles and kisses Euryale quickly on her way over to finish up the tea, and set the table.

"Oh really?" Gabe asked, "Is everything alright?"

"Pity," Noct shrugged, "Was there more you wanted to share?"

"I guess," Astarte said, seeming a little more subdued.

Dalia held one hand to her head and looked up and down the street for others that may have witnessed the attack and would be getting help.

*Ryuku raises an eyebrow*

<Really? What is this idea of yours.>

*She looks down at Tirea*

<Please excuse my daughter's rudeness, she's had a hard week>

*Senthose raises an eyebrow.*

"Not really, no."

Selena<Hold on. What do you want us to do?>

"For now, nothing. Our enemies are too well-protected. Don't worry, they'll be moving out in the open soon enough."

Tarrlok<A press conference on the recent Purist attacks. We have 2 very different perspectives on the issue, both of which I think that the public needs to hear.>

*There isn't really anyone. An old woman walks out from an alley & onto the sidewalk, but just assumes that the dead body is a homeless man sleeping on the ground, & walks past.*

"Hey, you seem hungry. You wanna get something to eat?"

"Yeah, it's just...well, there's a lot of stuff going on right now. There's what happened last night...& we do have a game tonight. And one tomorrow."

*Tirea stares down at her food*

*Eve finishes with her breakfast, and sets the tray aside*

I wish there was something I could do.

"So, free to go?" Noct asked, having just finished off her drink.

And drank tea. "So, feeling better this morning?" Mortal asked.

"Yea, we do have games coming up, in addition to all this... stuff that happened," Gabe let out a sigh, "I feel a bit overwhelmed with it all, actually."

Astarte shook her head but said, "If you want anything there's stuff in the kitchen."

Dalia checked for cars and hurried across the road. She called out at the old woman, telling her to call the police because a man had been shot, and rushed to the fallen man's side. She checked his pulse.

OOC: No.

"Yeah, it's just...well, there's a lot of stuff going on right now. There's what happened last night...& we do have a game tonight. And one tomorrow."

*He has no pulse. The woman shrieks & runs into the nearest building.*

"I already ate. When's the last time you had something?"

*Senthose reaches for the phone.*

"A bit. I can't say I like the news, though. All of that hard work busting Senthose, & now he's out on the streets again. Plus, there will be more attacks if we don't find the Purist Leader soon."

<Splendid! I look forward to seeing the 3 of you there.>

*Thiera enters the room, carrying a bucket of water.*

<Time for another healing session. If it goes well, we might be able to let you out of here by tomorrow.>

"I don't know," Astarte shrugged a little, avoiding eye contact. "I'm not hungry."

"Damn," Dalia scanned the area for signs of more trouble, including what she could see of the rooftops.

"Yea, we do have games coming up, in addition to all this... stuff that happened," Gabe let out a sigh, "I feel a bit overwhelmed with it all, actually."

"It is great to see you again, Senthose," Noct said standing up. She then turned to Volund and Salena and gave them a small wave before saying in an even tone, "Volund, Salena, have a pleasant day." She then started to head out of the building and back home.

Mortal frowned, "Agreed. it was the worst of luck that he managed to slip away. Still, we caught him once, we can do it again. As for the Purist Leader, I can't wait until we put cuffs on her and drag her off to a cell." Mortal remembered nearly being stabbed in the head, and furrowed her brows a bit.

OOC: Kinky.

"I want to get her off of the streets as soon as possible."

*The phone rings, so Euryale heads over to answer it.*

"Hello?"

<More like, "We meet again." I told you I would be back.>

"...What do you want? Revenge?"

<As if I would be motivated by something so petty. No, I called to give you a warning.>

"Well, let's go out in the kitchen, anyway. Maybe I will have something, after all."

"Don't tell me that. You're the Team Captain, I come to you so you can tell me what to do."

*There is nothing around. The woman eventually comes back out.*

<They say they're already pursuing the suspect.>

*Voland grunts in her general direction. Selena just ignores her. It's not long until she emerges from the hideout that she sees police cars with their lights off parked at either end of the street.*

"Okay," Astarte got up off of the couch and took Roatha to the little kitchen. She showed him where everything was, and offered to make him anything.

"Well, I guess they'll come for the body eventually," Dalia sighed and started walking off home.

<Alright, thank you.>

*Eve gets ready for that*

"Who is it?" Mortal asked when Euryale's demeanor changed.

Gabe smiled, and shook her head, "Sorry. I'm not infallible. The best I can give is the knowledge that no matter what you're going through, you're not alone. We're all here for each other." She ran a hand through her hair, "I'm on my way home from my jog. Would you like to come over, and we can talk? If you have not eaten I can make you something."

Noct begins to walk towards her home, crossing the street to avoid passing close to the police car should she have to.

"I would love to. Thank you for your hospitality."

"It's Senthose. I think he's threatening us."

<Either tonight or tomorrow should be good. You can schedule it for whenever you don't have a training session.>

*There is a noticeable improvement on the way to Dalia's neighborhood. The Purist graffiti has all been cleaned up, & the shops are under repair. Since there are cops patrolling on every 3rd street or so, no Purists come out to attack her.*

"Well, what would you suggest? What kind of stuff do you like to eat?"

"Sandwiches, toast, roles, cakes, biscuits and stuff," Astarte shrugged. "Whatever."

Dalia felt some approval towards the clean-up, and continued on home. Once home she went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror to see the extent of her head injury.

Noct makes a mental note of that, but doesn't really see the need to walk up to a police vehicle and inquire about the case.

Mortal frowned and waited for Euryale to finish her call.

Since Keter was able to keep Gabe's heart rate up she decided that a simple walk back home would still leave her with a good work out. "So, did you get enough sleep?" Gabe asked, trying to make small talk on the way back.

*Eve stares at the wall*

"Okay, then," Astarte said. "What would you like? Omelette? Pancakes? Toast?"

Dalia went to the kitchen and got some ice which she put on her head anyway, as the impact had left her with a dull headache. She went to the living room and put on the radio.

"Well, that is good," Gabe said, "You're going to want to stay well rested for the game. Speaking of, do you think you're ready for today?"

"Hang up," Mortal said, "Lets get back to enjoying our morning."

Noct looks around for Ven to see if she is home yet.

The search for Chief Beifong has yielded no results. Interim Chief Saikhan urges everyone to remain calm, stating that she's probably gone undercover to find her assailants.

"Things that are best left until night time, honestly," Mortal said, "But being in your company brightens my morning, all the same."

Gabe looks up and frowns, "Oh darn, rain." She then looked over at Ven, "You have talent and drive, Ven. You just need experience, and you'll get that by playing more. Now that it isn't completely new to you, it'll be better than last time, trust me."

Obviously. Noct is unhappy. She let out a small yawn as she made her way over to her kitchen, and then stopped, and cursed loudly to herself before heading to the front door. She saw the storm clouds, and went to fetch an umbrella. When she stepped outside she opened her ubrella and made way to where she was earlier to pick up the car she left there, having walked back home without it.

*Eve continues her healing secession*
