"I don't know, I guess pancakes?" Astarte started gathering things. "What would you like on them?"

Dalia sat listening to the radio, and considering the actual chances of the police chief being alive.

"Maybe you're right. Maybe it's like the rain. It's bad now, but it will clear up later in the day. Or so that's what the radio says."

*They arrive at the apartment complex.*

Senthose<I destroyed your car. Zolt knew that Selena was a Monsoon, so they followed her and invented an excuse to raid the hideout. We had to abandon it and get rid of all of the evidence.>

*Voland is pulling up a manhole with a crowbar. Selena wrinkles her nose at it.*

In Triad news, many suspected hideouts have been raided, but nothing has been found yet. The 4 trials of the suspects accused of being Agni Kais have already taken place, with 1 non-guilty verdict. That was the trial of the Sam Brothers and their girlfriends.

Astarte made Roatha some pancakes.

I should contact them at some point, Dalia thought.

"Yea, I suppose you can look at it like that," Gabe said, opening the front door and leading Ven up to her place.

Gabe opens the door and points to a sofa, and a love seat separated by a coffee table, "Make yourself at home." Gabe walked over and opened up her cabinets, sighing with relief that she had stocked up not too long ago, "So, what would you like to eat?"

"No, just..." Astarte stopped as she corrected Roatha's apparent mistake, then paused and looked Roatha in the eyes. "I'm not hungry, okay? Please don't worry so much. Besides, I've only made pancakes for you. I might have a cup of tea."

Dalia listened to some music, but turned it down a little due to her headache.

Tirea:<I'm heading up to Gabe's>

Ryuku:<Do you want me to drive you?>

*Tirea nods and they head up that way*

*Since she's in a car, it doesn't take her long to arrive outside of the apartment complex.*

*Tirea gets out of the car, waves to her mother, and heads up to the door and quietly knocks. her mother waits to see if anyone is home before driving off*

"Okay, then," Astarte served him his pancakes and sat down with some hot tea.

Dalia listened to some cool music.

OOC: It is an apartment building, so knocking on the front door will get you nowhere. For the sake of speed, I'm going to assume she knocked on Gabe's door.

Gabe poked around a bit before grabbing enough ingredients to fashion an omelet. "Do you like ham?" Gabe asked. She then heard a knock at her door, and went to check who it was, calling out on the way over, "I'm coming." She looked out the peephole and noticed Tirea, and quickly opened the door, "Oh, hey Tirea. How is it going?" Gabe opened the door wide enough that she could see into the apartment, and took a step back, inviting her inside.

"Well, come on in, and make yourself at home," Gabe said, walking to the fridge and pulling out some cold cuts of ham. "I was going to make some omelets, would you like one?"

*Noct eventually comes to a lot filled with cars for sale, & a boxy white building. As she's looking at one of the first cars, a blue Satomobile with purple trim, a man in a black suit with shiny, slicked-back black hair & a cigarette hanging from his mouth pops up from the other side.*

"Oh, don't worry about imposing," Gabe said with a chuckle. She then goes about throwing together a couple of omelets.

Gabe comes over with two plates and hands one to Ven, along with a fork, "Here you go." Gabe sits down on her sofa, and lets out a quick sigh before digging in.

"I suppose that we should," Mortal said, running a hand through her hair,, bringing up her other hand, and tying it in a low ponytail.

"There is a lot of time in the day, especially now that work is out of the picture," Astarte said. "You can stay a little longer... if you want, anyway."

"I'm fine walking or driving, and I don't think they make 'I'm sorry about your dead dad cards' so... no, I don't think we should get her anything," Mortal said.

Gabe smiled, "Thanks. I don't cook often, so I sometimes worry that I'm going to lose my ability to. I'm glad you enjoy it."

"Oh, um," Astarte faced down at her tea, looking guilty. "...I wish I could but... I don't expect I'll be going to that, no..."

*Euryale frowns.*

"I guess...I think I'd kind of like to walk."
