Making A Comeback

*Tirea slips out of the window then runs around to the front of the estate. Then she quietly approaches the front door, bending all the water she can out of the available plants*

*As quickly as she can get on him, Aamon grabs Mortal by the shoulders & tosses her over his head. Then he takes the daggers out of his chest, laughing. Euryale struggles to pull herself out of the wreckage.*

E"He got my arm pretty bad, I think it's fractured."

*Meanwhile, Ven runs out with the bag from the vacuum cleaner.*

Astarte had taken a large amount of water from Noct's sink and followed her back out to the scene. She rushed over to Euryale, her water glowing. She also glanced around the room hoping to spot Roatha, wondering if he was okay and why Aamon hadn't had the shit shocked out of him, yet.

Mortal gets up after being tossed like a ragdoll, "What in the-- I'm not a fan of your stupid Chi serum, just so you know!" She then shot a stream of flame into his back.

Noct frowned at Aamon, and froze over one of her water balls, and launched it at Aamon's head.

Gabe looked at Astarte approaching, and said, "Let her take care of your arm." She then shot double blasts of fire at Aamon.

*Tirea forms a ice spear with the water she had gather, then charges into the house, throwing it at Aamon's neck*

*Expecting to be attacked from behind, Aamon sidesteps. The spear misses & the fire blasts hit each other, swirling & setting any nearby fabric on fire. Aamon catches the ice ball & crushes it. Ven throws the bag at him & squeezes her fist, causing dust to boost out of it & shoot at him like daggers. He seems displeased, but not overly harmed. Finally having a clear shot, Roatha fires a blast of lightning, with much the same results. Euryale holds her injured arm out to Astarte & raises her other, balling her hand into a fist. Slowly, some of the dust begins to compress into balls of rock.*

Aamon<Of course not! You Benders fear & despise those who cast off the veil on your false sense of superiority!>

They're not near windows, or carpeting, so while Noct might lose a potted plant or two, the house itself is fine. Mortal shakes her head, "It has nothing to do with that, or your weird persecution complex. I don't like it because you're an asshole, and this is making you even more of an problem."

Using the shards of ice the scattered around Aamon after he crushed the ball, Noct flicks her wrist, and sends them like a swarm into Aamon's face, and eyes.

*Tirea bends any remaining potted plants to try and snare Aamon*

<What's the matter? Afraid of an opponent who can fight ba-->

*They're probably not large enough, & so Tirea probably just destroys her plants. Aamon dusts the ice shards from his face. It's brief, but it's enough. Euryale hits him in the gut with rocks while Ven plants her feet & begins waving her arms. She creates a dust devil. Roatha puts his hand to his mouth & breathes fire on it, at which point Aamon becomes surrounded by a tornado of fire.*

E"Jeeze, you don't think that was a bit overboard?"

*Aamon waves his arm, extinguishing the fire & blowing the dust away from himself. His lab coat lies in tatters & his arms & chest are burned, but other than that, he seems fine. When he yells, it's with a strange internal echo.*

<You're just wasting your energy!>

"Apparently not," Gabe said, shooting a stream of fire at Aamon's chest.

Noct doesn't see anything wrong with a winning strategy, so she waits for some douchebag to stop shooting fire, and potentially putting burn marks on her roof, and sends another flurry of shards Aamon's face. As she does she also uses her remaining ball of water to make the floor around him slippery while he is distracted.

*Tirea pulls the remaining water from the plants to create ice needles to add to Noct's shards*

*Aamon knocks the icicles aside, but Gabe's fire blast & the slippery floor knocks him down, & then Roatha electrocutes him & the dust spins around up above him & drills into his back. He shakily rises from his feet, bleeding from the mouth, & picks up the shredded remains of his firearm. He wields it as a knife & makes a grab for Mortal.*

*Tirea bends the remaining water into a large spike that she then tosses at Aamon's back*

Mortal dives out of the way of a rampaging Aamon, shooting a quick blast of fire at his face.

Noct attempts to freeze any remaining water that might be on Aamon's feet so that he slips and busts his ass.

Astarte wrapped Euryale's arm in healing water.

*Aamon ducks to avoid the ice spike & the fire. He looks around the room & then in the direction of the approaching sirens. His fingers are twitching heavily, & when he snarls, only half of his face really moves.*

E"Thanks, Astarte. It's over, Aamon."

<Underestimating me was your downfall. I might not have achieved my original goal-->

*He ducks under a blast of lightning from Roatha, which scorches a wall, & grabs Euryale's keys on the ground, before leaping backwards at the window.*

<--But I obtained a resource just as useful!>

"Hey!" Mortal said, shooting another bolt of lightning at him, "Those are our keys!"

*Tirea sends a water whip to grab his leg*

*Aamon is stopped in a very anti-climactic fashion. Ven creates a rope of dust to bind his arm, so he turns back, pulling them towards him, & aims several rapid punches into their stomachs. He coughs up more blood.*

R"Mortal! We can make a circuit!"

*He holds his fingers out towards Mortal, lightning crackling on their tips.*

Mortal mirrors Roatha's actions, hoping to finally take down Aamon.

*Tirea covers Aamon in some water*

*Lightning pulses between Roatha's & Mortal's fingers, meeting where Aamon is kneeling & arching out all over the water covering him. The lightning eventually breaks off as Aamon is consumed in an explosion of dark steam.*

E"Listen to me, Aamon! If you're still alive, you need to use your antidote now! You're surrounded, & running out of time! If you listen to reason, you'll at least have a chance to fight another day!"

Tirea:<Could he really still be alive?>

Gabe, and Noct both keep their distance, just in case.

Mortal on the other hand takes a step closer. If Aamon was knocked out then he wouldn't be able to administer the antidote, and she'd need to check if it was on him, and do it herself.

*Aamon drops a syringe on the ground & smashes it with his fist, grinding the glass into the floor.*

E"What are you doing?!"

Aamon<You think I'm so easily fooled? Not that it matters. Everyone in this room will be dead within a month. They will come you next, & then you shall curse yourselves for not allowing me to be the one to end your miserable existence. At least then your figure heads would claim you died "honorably.">

Woman<Police! We have you surrounded! Come out with your hands up!>

*He mouths the words as she says them with a simpering expression, then gives a low chuckle & rises to his feet.*

Aamon<For once, I hope my theories are wrong: If your 'Spirit World' really exists, then I can still watch you all die.>
