Making A Comeback

"I don't call people rude that often," Mortal said, "Do I?"

"You've probably already called 3 people rude today alone," Gabe pointed out.

"Well, they probably were rude!"

Astarte gave a legitimate smile, "I don't think I should risk the hangover..."

<I don't really like the taste of alcohol in general unless it's fruit flavored..>

*Roatha takes a shot of the nearest alcohol, which gets a laugh out of Euryale & even Ven. Euryale mixes 2 cups of booze & fruit punch on ice & hands them off to Ven & Tirea.*

*Tirea takes the glass*

Noct chuckled as she poured herself a glass of vodka, neat. She swirled it a bit, then took a swig of it.

Mortal felt a bit embarrassed, but laughed as well, "Make me a drink, too, my love."

Gabe looked over at Noct's drink, then said, "I'll take some vodka, too." Noct kind of stared at her for a second, causing Gabe to take a step towards the rack, "I'll pour it myself."

"No, no, I got it," Noct said, pouring her the drink and handing it over, "Just didn't figure you'd like it."

*Euryale pours Mortal some whiskey.*

R"Well, what would you like to drink, Astarte?"

<Hey Gabe, what does that stuff taste like?>

"Thanks," Mortal said, taking the drink, and taking a swig of it.

"It tastes smooth, but it burns on the way down," Gabe said, "A good burn though. Not like what Mortal is drinking."

"Ru-- Mean!" Mortal took another sip of her drink as Gabe chuckled at her again.

"Well... maybe, Absinthe with sugar and water, please," Astarte said entirely in spite of her statement about not wanting a hangover.

*Roatha takes half of a shot.*

R"On it."

*Roatha sets his drink down & starts mixing Astarte one.*

*Tirea takes another sip of her drink*

<Hey guys, if we've been drinking, how will we get home?>

"I guess we could call a cab," Mortal said. She then looked at Astarte, then Gabe, "So you're going to talk crap about how strong my drink is, but Ms. Green Liver Destroyer gets a pass?"

Gabe looked to see what Roatha was pouring, "Wow, absinthe is pretty intense."

Noct points to where she keeps her absinthe spoons, and sugar cubes, figuring he might not know where they are.

Astarte shrugged, "Thanks Roatha."

E"It'll be fine, I can drink when I get home. As long as no one tries to drunkenly motorboat me."

*As mentioned previously, Roatha makes that drink & hands it to Astarte.*

<Then Euryale'll drive us.>

*Tirea takes another sip*

<I've never heard of that drink Astarte. Is it good?>

OOC: Bet Roatha fucked it up because he doesn't know how to make it.

"I make no promises," Mortal said, "I mean, it is hard keeping myself in check when I'm sober. You practically seduce me by being in my line of sight, it isn't fair really."

Astarte knocked some back and then looked to Tirea, "I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like strong stuff."

E"Yeah, that line's not so charming, especially not after you've heard it from a bunch of construction workers."

Mortal chuckled, "Sorry. I'll come up with a better one later, just for you."

"I doubt that," Gabe said, "I've heard you drunk, and your level of pickup lines definitely doesn't go up."

"Rude."

Gabe and Noctis both take a swig.

*Tirea finishes her drink*

<I can tell this is going to be a fun party.>

Astarte knocked back some more.

*Roatha refills his shot, & takes it.*

E"So, Ven, having fun?"

*Roatha fills another shot.*

V"YES."

R"Aww...."

*Ven finds a place to sit down, while Roatha goes over & stands with Astarte.*

*Tirea gets herself a refill*

Noct smiled at the turn of events.

Mortal takes another sip, "Alright, alright, how about this? The Dancing Dragons are red, and... uh... also blue, Noct's house is big, but not big enough to contain all my love for you!"

Noct just shook her head, and Gabe laughed at her.
