Making A Comeback

Astarte finished her glass and looked at Roatha, pink already, "I should probably stick to the one. Or two?"

R"Up to you."

E"I liked that one."

R"A bit shaky on the delivery, though."

E"Well, you can't have it all."

*Tirea gulps down her second drink then walks over to Gabe*

<Could I ask you something kinda private? It's been bothering me for a while now...>

"Well, I guess someone has to like her pick up lines," Gabe said.

"Rude- Er, I mean... damn," Mortal frowned as Gabe and Noct took drinks again, "I do say that a lot."

"Doesn't help that Gabe is being rude," Noct said.

"Yeah! See, someone is on my side!"

Gabe then looked at Tirea, "Huh, oh, sure."

Astarte went about getting herself a second.

*Euryale stares on, wide-eyed, glancing over as Roatha takes another shot.*

E"...Kinda glad I'm sitting this game out...."

<Remember when we were getting harassed by the Wolfbat's groupies, one of the girls said we couldn't get men like them or something. Then you...said something...that I can't remember right now. Must be the drinks. Do you remember?>

"Uh... oh, yeah," Gabe said, "What about it?"

Mortal peeked over and tried to see Gabe and Tirea, "What do you think they're talking about?"

Astarte started going through her second, a lop-sided, stupid grin on her face.

R"Ironically, it's kinda rude to watch them, & gossip about what they're talking about behind their backs."

*Tirea looks down at her empty cup*

<I don't mean to be rude and imply anything but I'm kinda curious...>

"Oh, it is not a secret," Gabe said, "I meant I was into girls. Like Mortal and Euryale."

"I know..." Mortal said with a frown, "I'm just curious."

"I bet I can guess what it's about," Astarte said.

R"What?"

E"Talk about irony."

<Oh, ok, I was afraid of offending you by asking. I...I..think it's really good at you're so open about it.>

"Well, it is kind of hard to keep it a secret," Gabe said, she then put on a stupid grin, "I used to be really famous you know."

"Is it rude that I still want to know, even though I know it is rude to gossip?" Mortal asked, taking another sip of her drink.

"Probably," Noct said.

Astarte kind of shook her head and went back to her drink.

R"Well, we don't have much else to talk about, do we?"

V"I saw you Bend that dust, Euryale. You've really improved."

E"I guess, but I had to condense it into rock before I was confident that I could control it...."

R"Isn't that also a skill you've been trying to learn?"

E"Hm...I guess you're right."

<I was a fan of yours, and I had no idea.>

*She shrugs*

<I've been...rather confused myself over...that stuff.>

"Oh, really?" Gabe said, "Confused in what way? Like, you don't know if you like boys or girls, or you like a girl and don't know why...?"

"Aamon's gun exploded," Astarte said. "Who did that and how? It just now occurred to me that I don't know..."

E"Thank you all. Yeah, I wasn't sure about that either."

V"Oh, I did that."

E"You've learned Metalbending already? Nice!"

V"Um...no, nothing that impressive, I'm afraid. I Bent the gunpowder inside until it exploded outwards."

E"Oh...well, still impressive. I would expect you to use your primary Bending skill in a fight for your life."

"That's pretty cool."

*Tirea stares at her feet*

Noct smiled a genuine smile for a while, "You saved my life, Ven. Thank you."
