"But you're cheating!" Jin called out, though she did try adjusting to make herself slower.

Cameron:<Hey, you are too!>

*He picks up his pace*

Taiyo: "That diner's close by if you want to go there."

Grimm eventually wakes up to an unfamiloar ceiling. He's handcuffed to a hospital bed, wearing a gown and a collar of sorts around his neck.

There are no windows except for the one on the door to the room he's in and through the open curtains he can see someone in Mutant Buster gear standing right outside.

V"Fine by me."

And so they head to the diner. After being seated, their waitress takes their orders and brings their drinks.

Taiyo: "Does anyone want to do something after?"

T"Sure."

A"We don't have anything to do."

V"I like to get out of the apartment."

*Assuming they get to Eve's house soon, Eve unlocks the door and lets Jin and Cameron in*

Jin dashed in and immediately turned to the others, hands on hips, chest puffed out"I'll put in money for that hair dye, but you can thank Eve for not getting $50!"

"Hey, you," Grimm called out, his voice probably dry and rasping thanks to smoke inhalation and exhaustion.

Taiyo: "We could um...any ideas?"

With the door closed and his voice shitty, no one hears him.

Eventually the door opens and someone in a well tailored suit enters with two Mutant Buster officers. Their build is similar to Grimm's, the only outstanding they have is the lack of visible flesh on their head, leaving only a skull. They wear a pair of gloves. Upon speaking, it is possible to tell they are male.

???: "Ah, you're awake. Feeling any better after that rampage of yours?"

T"Is there a skating rink nearby? That could be fun."

"What rampage?" Grimm asked, having very little if any recollection of what happened after he collapsed.

Taiyo: "There's the sportsplex. But it's not really close by. Unless you want to take a bus."

An officer hands him a file which he looks through.

???: "Last summer a fire occured in the south end of the city, resulting in the deatha of three people. Likely vagrants. It wasn't until the fire at the church and your attack on members of the Mutant Busters resulting in three injured which is primarily why you're here did we have much of a lead on last summers fire."

He hands the folder back to the officer.

???: "Until then, you're being held for arson, and attempted murder of members of the Manderlay Police Department. Once your injuries are healed and you're deemed to be relocated with the rest of the facilities population where your rehabilitation will begin, you will be under constant supervision here."

At an undisclosed location, the four enter an operating center of sorts. Wraith having acquired a pair of pants at some point.

Hurt: "I hear the church was set aflame. And the state of the priest, Zulu?"

Zulu: "Wraith intervened."

Hurt: "Well, that is why you were sent. If things got too out of hand."

Wraith: "He's dead."

Hurt: "Excellent. Present his head."

Wraith: "I left him to die by his own hand."

The three humans take their leave upon Hurt waving them to go.

Hurt: "The mission was simple. Kill the priest and bring me his head. If you are to work for this or-"

Wraith: "I do not work for you, Professor. I work with you which does not entitle you to give me orders. I will carry out the provided mission on my terms."

Hurt's mask cover the anger on his face.

Hurt: "Very well, Wraith."

T"I guess if that's what we have to do."

"That's... not... that happened..." Grimm's head began to spin and he took a deep breath. "So... my church... has been burned down?"

Cameron:<Whatever!>

*Eve heads to the upstairs bathroom*

<We should get this over with.>

The waitress brings them their meals and asks if anyone cares for refills.

???: "Your church? That raises more questions such as what you'd hope to accomplish from burning it down?"

"I didn't, I mean..." Grimm blinked a few times, losing his words for a moment. He cleared his throat and spoke again. "Where am I? You are 'Mutant Busters', correct?"

Jin followed her up, looking like she had forgotten her previous moment's grievances.

*Eve brings her desk chair from her room into the bathroom, then turns on the light and puts the bag of stuff on the counter. Cameron takes of his coat and sits down in the chair*

Eve:<I hope you're more experienced at this than I am.>

*They all thank her, & say that they're okay for now.*

Taiyo: "How come you want to go skating?"

???: "Not officially. Anyway, this is the medical wing of The Clanstein Rehabilitation Clinic."

T"I don't know, I just thought it would be fun. You don't want to?"

"And what is wrong with them?" Grimm looked at the skull-headed people, his gaze uneasy.

"Eh, I don't know, it's easy enough."

Taiyo: "It's not that, I was just curious."

??? looks at the two officers, being the only "skull headed" person in the room.

???: "Nothing that'll hinder their work unlike the three you injured. There are many Mutant Buster officers working at this facility performing the same jobs a Schwarzstein guard would."

T"Well, I don't know that many things we can do for fun. Particularly in-public."

*Aroma starts, sitting bolt upright & shaking her head, as if trying to wake herself up.*

A"What?!"

*Thiera holds out a flower petal in her hand, which gradually changes from pink to red.*

A"Oh...oh, you mean...that. And not...yeah, okay. I see."

*She stares down at her food, burning red, & takes a long drink. Ven suppresses a laugh.*
