T"Could be. Oh well, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. Should have been a law-abiding citizen."

*Thiera folds her arms as Ven stares at her blankly.*

V"...Please tell me you don't say things like that when you're in costume?"

*Thiera looks dumbfounded.*

T"Why, what's wrong with them?"

Taiyo: "Well...they're kind of...lame. I'm sure you're not like that one without the face, but...does he have any one-liners?"

Assuming they're finished the employee from before rings it in. It is a little over twenty-dollars.

*Thiera crosses her arms & looks pointedly away.*

T"I think they're very intense, powerful statements. Also, they demonstrate my commitment to peace, & justice. Besides, it's not about having cool lines, anyway."

*Aroma hesitantly reaches up & pats her on the back with a look on her face that can only be described as the deepest pity.*

*Cameron pays for about half and Eve pays for the other half. Then they exit the store*

Eve:<Shall we head back to my place?>

Grimm's lance returned and he continued flying on, trying to take paths which the remaining van wouldn't be able to follow him into. Eventually the wings vanished, his eyes returned to normal and he fell a couple of meters to the ground, entirely unconscious.

"Yeah, sure."

Taiyo: "Sorry..."

Kari comes down an aisle, a couple scratches on the back of her hand which she's drying with paper towel.

Kari: "Hello again, everyone."

While he's unconscious and likely dying he's in the process of being detained by a pair of Mutant Buster units, a collar-like unit being wrapped around his neck right away.

*Thiera uncrosses her arms & turns towards Kari. Aroma waves. Ven just stares at her blankly.*

T"Hey."

A"Good afternoon."

V"...Have you considered investing in a pair of gloves?"

*Eve, Cameron, and presumably Jin start walking back to Eve's house*

"Race ya? I'll go easy," Jin said, moving a few strides ahead of the others and walking backwards.

Grimm was detained.

Kari: "It's nothing. The kittens are rambunctious as usual."

Taiyo holds up the back of her hand, a bunch of scratches on it.

Taiyo: "They'll be less scratchy when they get older."

V"I handle feral animals and I don't get scratched up this often."

Cameron:<Sure!>

*Cameron takes off after Jin. Eve picks up her pace too, but only so the others remain in her line of sight*

Jin beamed and began running. Though her idea of 'taking it easy' would not be considered regular by anybody else, and she still ended up going at an impressive speed.

Taiyo: "Some people aren't as fortunate?"

Kari: "I take it you're all back to see if Taiyo's finished?"

*They nod.*

*Cameron increases his pace*

<Hey, you said you'd go easy!>

Eve:<You two know I hate running!>

Jin laughed and slowed down just enough to stay a couple of meters ahead. She called back over her shoulder, "If you can beat me like this I'll give you fifty bucks!"

Kari looks at the clock abive the till.

Kari: "Yep. See you Tuesday, Taiyo."

Taiyo: "All right, see you Tuesday."

Taiyo wanders off to the back for a bit, returning with her backpack.

*Eve stops time around Jin then Cameron picks up his pace. Eve waits till Cameron as a great headstart before unfreezing Jin*

Cameron:<I'd love 50 dollars!>

"Foul play!" Jin cried, speeding back up to be able to catch up. She was quickly bordering on Olympic speeds, seeming to have forgotten that she shouldn't show off her gift so much.

T"Great! What do you want to do?"

Taiyo: "I figured you three had something planned."

As they pass through the parking lot, a truck pulls in and parks, taking up two spaces and a redheaded male they may or may not recognize from their time spent at the pet store gets out.

Taiyo: "Hi, Kentaro."

Kentaro: "Hello, Taiyo & friends."

Eve:<Slow down!>

*Eve slows, but does not stop, time around Jin*

V"Well, we figured you'd be hungry, but other than that, not really."

*They wave.*

After a little idle chatter between Kentaro and Taiyo which amounts to him asking how Taiyo enjoys working at the pet store, he goes inside.

Taiyo: "I guess I'm a little hungry."
