The moment Wraith 'vanished' Grimm turned and launched a considerable ball of fire into his original assailant's face. His main goal was to both temporarily blind him and stagger him as he dived forwards and delivered a flying punch to the solar plexus. The heat was now closer to 300C.

Cashier: "Yes."

A plant monster appearing out of nowhere scares the hell out of them and they drop their ice cream. A few pedestrians stop and stare until the Tyranno Boy with the gun in his pants, brings it out.

The letter as he never dropped it catches fire, engulfing his hand. He doesn't make it within arms length of the original attacker because he's yanked back by Wraith who reappears behind him, holding the knife to his throat.

Wraith then bites Grimm's neck, puncturing the skin and begins feeding off of him.

The original attacker gets the hell out of there.

*Thiera raises her hands.*

"Now, now, we don't have to do anything rash--the ice cream can be replaced. I just want to have a friendly conversation."

*If he still aims the gun at her, she lashes out with a vine, which grows a flower prong on the end. This prong will encase the gun, secreting a sticky fluid, & she'll pull it out of his hand. Otherwise, she does nothing.*

A"Okay...do you know where Thiera went?"

V"Not really, no."

*They step out of the way, but still hang nearby, because they have no idea where to go.*

Eve:<We could dye his hair and bye him a different colored coat.>

Cameron:<Wait, what? You'd have to bleach my hair first.>

Eve:<Good point. A wig then.>

"What's wrong with bleaching your hair? I could do it. Can I do it?" Jin asked, leaning across the table towards him and looking at his hair. "A wig could be a problem, like, what if it tilted or fell off? You could get one of those professional ones like some actors use but dying your hair would be more fun."

The fact that his hand had caught fire was of no consequence to Grimm as it did not affect him at all. As he felt something sinking into his neck, he turned both palms upwards and launched large blasts of flame from each hand into himself, engulfing his upper body in fire which would also affect the Wraith. His skin turned red as his clothes were burned off of him, but his invulnerability kept him alive and conscious.

Tyranno Boy: "You got Scott arrested, we ain't saying nothing. You think we shiv?"

Wraith is in the position as Grimm. He smiles, blood around his mouth, flashing his sharp incisors.

Wraith: "Cute."

A flame grows in his empty hand.

<I agree.>

*Cameron covers his head with his hands*

Cameron:<We better dye it back right after.>

"I don't know what that means. Or who Scott is."

"Sure we can, but it might not be quite the same colour again," Jin said, then beamed. "The sacrifices we make for justice, huh?"

Grimm snarled and tried slamming Wraith into a wall by jumping back into it.

True to their word, they don't talk and instead the one with the gun, draws it. The other who is unarmed takes a swing at Thiera.

Grimm gets knifed in the side.

*Then she removes his gun, as stated before. In the same motion, she steps back, swinging out with her other arm to tie the other up in vines.*

"Your choice."

*Cameron buries his head in his hands*

<I guess.>

Eve:<Excellent. Now, where should we get supplies?>

Grimm released a pained cry and continued dashing Wraith against the wall. The temperature had almost exceeded 400C.

"There's plenty of shops around here," Jin said. "Let's go!"

A crowd gathers around, chanting, cheering, and taking photos.

Backed against the wall, Wraith bites into Grimm again, twisting the knife inside his side.

The temperatures climbs another hundred degrees.

*She presumably gets them tied up in short order, & turns to the crowd, giving them a little smile.*

"Someone, please contact the authorities."

*Eve nods and stands up, grabbing her trash*

<Let's go.>

*Eve tosses her trash before heading out of the forecourt*

<Do you have any idea what kind of store would be good to try?>

Holding Wraith against the wall with his body, Grimm used one hand to grab the hand twisting the knife and hold it still while he reached back with the other and put two fingers through one of Wraith's eyes.

"I don't know, we could go to a cosmetics place or just a general store, and get something cheap."

The crowd seems to disagree as now they're beginning yell.

Man: "The police?! If they were any good at their job, we wouldn't have this issue!"

The Tyranno Boys struggle, trying to escape as the crowd now a mob begins to close in. A bottle is thrown from the crowd hitting the one which was unarmed.

Wraith phase through Grimm, knife and all, the temperature rising to six hundred. He swings the knife, but is far enough away that only blood splatters on Grimm's face.

Wraith: "This is what your curse has brought you. Burning in your own self-rightous hellfire."

*She waves a hand, causing large flower petals to emerge from under the vines, & encase them in a protective cocoon.*

"Citizens, please listen to me: I, too, know that this city is under-protected. But when I donned the mask, it wasn't my mission to replace the law, but to help restore it to the way it should be."

*Eve nods and she and Cameron head into a cosmetics store*

"What are you blathering about?! It's no curse, and it won't burn me!" Grimm roared, generating more flames. "But it will burn you, mutant filth!"

Jin followed them.

Another man speaks up.

Man Two: "You're protecting these monsters? All the lives they've taken! They should be made an example off."

Someone nearby had called the police as a pair of squad cars and a news van round the corner.

The temperature rises to seven hundred and by now both of them can feel it. It's probably worse for the one with the gaping hole in their side and neck wound.

Wraith: "'Mutant filth'? Do you forget what you yourself are? Your unsuccesful crusade is built on denying your own self-hatred."

Wraith lobs a fireball at Grimm's chest then another out the window.

They stand out like a couple of sore thumbs at the store. A woman with a backcomb and black streaks in her blond hair approaches them.

Employee: "Hi, can I help you with anything or are you just browsing?"

"I have a power that could spread across the entire world. But if I use that power to destroy, & kill, all that would do...is make me an even greater monster."

*With that, she should have stalled for enough time for the police to get close to the scene, so she swoops up onto a nearby rooftop.*

*Both Eve and Cameron stare at Jin*

"Just some cheap hair dye for him," Jin motioned to Cameron. "Whatever he likes."

"Don't bother!" Grimm barked, waving one hand and sweeping the flames aside with his own. With his other hand he struck at Wraith with a second fireball. He was panting now.
