*Still on the way to the library*

Grimm suppressed his grimace and glanced around at whoever else was in the area.

Jin presumably arrived at the library at some point in her jog.

Azuma: "Depending on what you consider relaxing, we have a wide selection of romance on the next aisle and two aisles over is where we keep all our philosophy, theological and otherwise."

Before they depart, Taiyo hugs Aroma and gives her a kiss.

Taiyo: "I'll see you soon."

The patiants watch as The General essentially manhandles a child.

Jack: "That would be Tony Gottfried. Went by the name of Speedy when he was caught try to break into a liqour store. You'll never guess what his ability is."

What do you want me to do about them being at the library? It was their decision.

*Eve and Cameron get out of the car, and Dr Tantus drives away. They then look around for Jin*

*Aroma stares off dreamily into space.*

A"Yeah...soon...."

T"Okay. We'll see you later today, then. Goodbye."

*They wave & Thiera leaves. She comes back in a second later to drag out Aroma, who does not stop waving.*

*Luna stares at Azuma for quite a while.*

"...Hmm...theology sounds interesting. Or maybe romance."

"I see," Grimm replied indifferently.

Jin turned up at a jog, "So who's Doctor Grapes, or whatever?"

He leads her to the romance section as it's closest.

Azuma: "We got pretty much anything outside of dime store Harlequin romance novels. Although truth be told, this aisle isn't exactly my expertise."

The General drags the kid over and sets him down in front of Jack and co.

Jack: "Good afternoon, Speedy."

Speedy: "What kind of lame-o name is that? You clods should know my real name, so use it."

Jack: "That'll be your codename for the time being. Either submit your own or get used to it. You've just been enlisted into the Lightning Bolts."

Speedy: "Who came up with that? And what if I say no?"

Jack: "Bureaucrats aren't the most creative bunch. And if you say no, you'll have to continue the rest of your sentence. Join us and you'll be able to work some time off of that sentence. On top of actually getting paid."

Speedy: "Who's the chick and geezer?"

He points to Jammer & Grimm.

<Daughter of someone who my parents have mentioned.>

"What do clowns have to do with anything?"

Jin continued to look expectantly at Eve, like she thought there was more to it.

"Father Grimm, to you," Grimm did not extend a hand to this one.

Azuma: "Well, if you need any help just give either of us a shout."

And he returns to the previous aisle to be as far away from that derp as he can without it being too obvious he's getting the hell away from her.

Jammer: "Jammer."

She too doesn't extend a hand to the kid. Speedy scoffs.

Speedy: "Those are some pretty queer names. Did Mr. Bonejangles here decide those for you?"

The General picks the kid up by the back of his shirt.

The General: "We're going to have lots of fun conditioning you."

The General walks back into the facility, handing Jack the clipboard.

Jack: "Ah, the fire and passion of youth. Well, who's next on the list....?"

"Hey. You didn't answer my question."

*Eve whispers in Jin's ear*

Grimm stood with his hands clasped behind his back.

"Why her?"

And he never will because it's stupid and has nothing to do with anything.

Jack flips through the pages on the clipboard.

Jack: "A young woman named Sage. No connection between her name and ability. As if someone wasn't even trying with this one."

He walks about the yard until her approaches a trio conversing at a picnic table, they all look at him, worried after The General manhandled some kid.

Jack: "Excuse me, which one of you is Sage?"

A redhaired woman holds her hand up, nervously.

Sage: "That'd be me."

*Luna just leaves, determined to take her business elsewhere.*

Cameron:<(You know it could not be legit, right?)>

<(We don't have anything else to work with.)>

"Good enough for me," Jin shrugged.

Grimm continued to stand with his hands behind his back and watched Sage.

Elsewhere is a chain bookstore across the city that cares not for her patronage.

Azuma: "Just about time to close up shop."

Jack: "You've been chosen to enroll in an extracarricular program to reduce your sentence here and get paid doing it."

Sage: "Hey, why I'm here is-"

Jack: "Not actually important. I know the circumstances concerning it, but that's not why I'm here. You, Issac Grimm, Jammer, and that one youngin' are the start of the future."

Sage: "If I refuse, that big guy will drag me off?"

Jack: "You refuse, you remain here."

*She just goes home, because fuck that.*

*So they go into the library, and head over to where you can use computers*

Grimm just waited for this to be over with, regarding the others impassively.

Jin followed Eve, looking around the library and sniffing, "Never liked libraries. They make me feel claustrophobic. Quiet. Serious."

She is stopped by a wild police blockade where a police officer redirects traffic the hell away from the direction she's going.

Taiyo gets off work and texts Aroma.

Sage: "I guess I kinda lose out either way."

Jack: "If you look at it with that attitude, yes. Think of it as community service, but with all the benefits of being a government employee. Jammer, will you please escort the young lady inside and have that collar done away with?"

*Eve laughs quietly and shakes her head*

<Oh Jin, libraries are amazing.>

*Aroma checks her phone to see what it says.*
