Old Ones Return (IV)

Cameron:<Once we do, rescuing her has to be our first priority.>

Azuma: "That may be sooner than possible. BANTYOLeomon can open tears between the two worlds. Just need to contact it."

Yamaki<How do you propose to do that? And why are you putting so much inflection on its name?>

Azuma: "Via a Digimon video game. Sounds dumb, but that's what it said to do."

OOC: Because BANTYOLeomon is its original name. Set in Japan and no one uses the Japanese names.

Yamaki<And why does he want you to do that?>

Azuma: "To inform us of how to reach a higher level by merging with our partners."

Patamon: "Like what those jerks did?"

Azuma: "Not exactly."

Cameron:<So we meet in a video game and he'll show us how?>

Yamaki<He's probably referring to Biomerge Digivolution. I am familiar with it. I don't know the details, other than that it advances the human-Digimon hybrid to Mega, & cannot be easily used in the physical plane.>

E"Either way, we should do it as soon as possible."

Azuma: "Now's as good of time as any to try it out."

Cameron:<Right. We better go get on that game as soon as possible.>

Yamaki<Bring it to Hypnos, then we can come up with a plan.>

Azuma: "Well, I gotta go home first then. Or just download an emulator and rom to my phone."

He then produces his phone and presumably sets to that.

Cameron:<I can run home and grab Kylie's copy if that doesn't work.>

*Yamaki turns the phone off.*

Yamaki<Don't break the law in front of a government official, what's wrong with you?>

Azuma: "Desperate times, yada yada yada. Fine I'll go home."

*Cameron laughs*

<Government employees shouldn't break the law. I'll meet you guys at Hypnos as soon as I can.>

*Cameron runs to his house as fast as he can*

*And so they're eventually all assembled at Hypnos, along with Kurata. Tally puts the disc or whatever in her terminal, & the whole spherical screen thing lights up with whatever the main menu is.*

*Cameron takes out his digivice and stares at it. Biyomon stands beside him*

<I wonder how we enter.>

Azuma: "Hit start. However you do that with your super computer."

*She does.*

Taiyo: "Is something supposed to happen?"

*Cameron and Biyomon wait for something to happen*

*Since I apparently have to make some shit up, the screen shows a map of a grassland with a few trees. Nearby, 2D polygons models of a Guilmon & a Gabumon are engaged in battle. The Gabumon stabs it with its horn, but the Guilmon grabs him, throws him, & blasts him with Pyro Sphere. The Gabumon looks at the screen with wide eyes before exploding into pixels, which fly into the Guilmon as it glows. The Guilmon does a stupid little dance.*

Cameron:< Ah....the memories.>

Azuma: "2D sprites at this point in time? What is this crap?"
