"Maybe...do you think that I should?"

*Stefan's cop dodges the attacks & then swings a cable at him. Astarte's starts chipping through his frozen head. Roatha tries to generate a ball of flame, but Senthose is having none of this shit & simply stabs him through the chest, making a little whistle & thud noise as he falls. Euryale accepts Mortal's help.*

E"Quickly, get to the wall! And quit killing people!"

Senthose<What? They're evil.>

*Meanwhile, tiny points of flame fall towards them as the airship fires more arrows.*

"It might help," Gabe said.

Noctis can't help her usual giggle at Senthose's shenanigans, but tries to cover it with a cough.

Like Noctis, Mortal rushes to the wall like Euryale said, "I'm glad to see you guys safe and sound."

Monu:<Roatha, can you walk?>

*He creates a shield around himself and the others*

<We need to move, now.>

*Monu raises another stone pillar near the wall, trying to damage it*

Stefan put out an arm to be caught while simultaneously running electricity through it. Meanwhile, Hector began crawling towards the wall, small tendrils of water rising up all around him, and Astarte moved back to Roatha and run Healing water over his nose.

R"Thanks. Yeah, I should be fine."

*An ice dome forms over everyone. The cop is not electrocuted, because of the rock glove. Mud bubbles around his feet to quickly transport him back to the wall, which he raises a chunk of rock to reseal it. Euryale grabs Mortal's arm.*

E"No, we're going to go to the chief's office."

*The shield breaks apart, dropping big blocks of ice on them. More officers race down the cables towards the perimeter. Voland freezes the blocks in midair & gathers more snow to make a thicker shield. Senthose moves towards the wall, spinning around & gathering a torrent of ice around himself. Roatha tries to hobble towards the wall with Astarte.*

"Alright...let's go!"

*She opens the door & steps out into snow up to her ankles. She shivers, & tries to press onward.*

*Monu and Tirea follow Roatha and Astarte, both creating shields as they move*

Mortal begins to head towards the chief's office.

"Why her office?" Noct asked.

Gabe clears them a path through the snow with a flame thrower.

V"Thank you."

*They reach the wall in time to see what looks like a meteor shower falling on the other side. They hear explosions, & also just barely avoid being consumed by a sudden burst of ice & snow that drills through the wall.*

*Senthose lets loose his attack, a whirling tornado of ice & snow pushing against the rock wall until it breaks. The cop gets caught in it & it's unclear what happens to him. After another salvo of arrows breaks through the shield, the cops jump close to them & swing with cables in a last ditch effort to capture them.*

"We may be able to regain control of the department!"

*Once they get inside the prison complex, they find little resistance. Large portions of the walkway above & below have been ripped away, with chunks of the wall & even a couple of doors lying around. Euryale stomps, causing the wreckage lying around to float upward. Then she thrusts her fists out, making it reassemble into a path to bridge the gap, which she runs across.*

"C'mon!"

Astarte did her best to support Roatha while waving one hand in the air, causing several rings of water to swirl around them at high speed in an attempt at shielding. Hector and Stefan were now scrambling for the escape.

*Monu raises a stone shield to protect them from the cables*

*Mortale runs through hallways lined with unconscious officers before catching up to Beifong outside of an open door. She shines her armor with her coat sleeve, then produces a flat extension, so they can see Kane talking to Saikhan.*

Saikhan<Kane, what are you doing here? Nevermind. Tell me what's going on. There's a huge prison break, our officers are dropping like flies, I know I haven't ordered any of these security measures, & I think I even heard rumors that the Chief is in the building?>

Kane<It's tragic, really...Euryale & Mortal came in to assassinate you, using the posthumous Chief Beifong's name as cover. I tried to stop them, but I was just slightly too late.>

*Kane produces a katar.*

Saikhan<What is...no...you think I'm going to let you get away with this?!>

Kane<That's why it has to end like this. You really were an idiot. But at least you'll be remembered as a hero.>

*They manage to knock away the cables & escape to the outside of the wall.*

V"Ice."

R"What? When did you--?"

*Senthose stabs the ground, causing the snow all along the parking lot to melt & resolidify as a sheet of black ice. Ven sweeps her arms in wide, circular motions about half a dozen times, then ducks thrusting her palms out. The dust coiling in the air twists & forms a cloud, which spirals down towards her as she ducks, before finally being blown over the prison yard. The force of the maneuver sends them skidding along the ice, & blows the cops off of the wall. As Roatha is peeling himself off of the ground, the area around his hands glow red, melting as much of the ice around him as possible.*

V"We have a car!"

R"Yeah, I don't really think that we're all going to fit. Hey...where are Senthose & that old guy?"

*Elsewhere, Senthose, Volund, & dozens of lower-ranking monsoons are skidding along the snow on small waves.*

Senthose<The only way to cover up our dirty dealings now is to get to the Capitol Building while the police are occupied. We'll find the records, destroy them, & whack every witness to Noct's involvement who isn't already in the gang. And then I don't see why we can't steal a whole bunch of money, weapons, & cars while we're there.>

*The officer outside of Dalia's room answers the phone.*

*He hangs up & comes in, firing cables at her.*

<You're under arrest, Ms. Lao!>

*Tirea reduces the ice around her to water, then stands up. Monu unsticks himself from the ground*

Monu:<Looks like they ran off.>

*Eve looks out her front door, seeing if she can see anything*

"He indeed ran away," Noct said, "Now c'mon, we should get out of here."

"Shouldn't we... go after him or something?" Gabe asked, "No, wait, never mind. That sounded silly as soon as I said it..."

"We have to do something," Mortal said, wondering if she could peg Kane with a bolt of lightning from the angle she was at.

Astarte tried to pick herself up, liquefying water around herself. The Terrible Trio picked themselves up with similar means.

Dalia rolled off of the side of her bed- away from the cop- and called out, "On what charges?"

R"I still don't think we'll all fit in that car, there's like 9 of us."

*She sees spotlights around the police station. Also, it's snowing.*

Lin<Agreed.>

*Beifong rips a large chunk out of the floor & throws it at Kane. He notices it just in time, & stops it. Saikhan tries to punch him, but he catches the fist, & pulls him around, putting the katar to his throat.*

E"Kane, stop this, you're outnumbered, you can't win!"

Kane<Do you really think I came here alone?>

*The ceiling breaks in 6 places around the room, Metalbending Police dropping down with the rubble.*

Kane<I'd also wager that Kali & Sobek will be along shortly, with their own teams.>

OOC: You've obviously never been in a big family. 9 people in a car that can fit 5 is cake.

"We can put five in there normally, and more if people sit on other's laps. You, Astarte, and Tirea are all small enough that it shouldn't be a problem," Gabe said.

Mortal lets out a long flamethrower on one of the Metalbenders that fell through the roof, assuming she is close enough.

*Eve turns on the radio, seeing if she can figure out what the hell is going on*

OOC: As I quipped earlier, my family is responsible.

*Roatha & Ven just start piling everyone in. Roatha seems unsure of where to sit, until Ven shoves him on Astarte. She herself ends up sitting on Gabe.*

V"Go! I don't know how long I can keep them distracted!"

*She blows up a cloud of dust & snow to cover the alley & the road beyond.*

*Saikhan elbows Kane in the ribs & Euryale & Lin lash out with both of their cables. Other police jump forward to cut them, but they manage to pull Saikhan harmlessly from his grasp. Mortal backs that guy up into a corner.*

"We have to get out of here!"

Lin<Unfortunately, I think you may be right.>

Kane<You won't escape!>

*The 3 unoccupied cops fire their gloves, grabbing the trio of policewomen in their Standard Female Grab Areas.*

Monotonous reporter<...wall of the prison broken down during the break. The police offered few comments at this time, but indicated that the same rogue officers from earlier today were involved. The duo have been identified as "Euryale" & "Mortal.">

*Monu gets in, then Tirea sits on top of him*

Mortal begins to back away but is apparently grabbed so she begins shooting a fireball at the one who grabbed her.

*The armor hand twists her arm out of the way so that she shoots Euryale instead. Euryale goes down, hard. Beifong breaks loose, because she is the strongest Earthbender present, & gets into a fist fight with Kane. Saikhan hurls cables at the other officers, trying to keep them away from Euryale. Failing to get the gloves off of herself, she eventually just fuses them to her armor, so that she has weird bumps on her arms.*

"I don't know," Noct said, "I'm heading to the edge of the city right now, but I'm open to suggestions."

"Sorry, sorry, sorry!" Mortal said, using her other hand to shoot a fireball at the guy holding her.

Astarte, with her limited movement, lifted a hand clutching a snowball which turned to a sphere of water, "Does anybody else need any Healing quickly?"
Hector and Stefan, presumably jammed into the car in some uncomfortable arrangement, groaned.

Dalia stood up slowly and pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose, "I'll have you know that I'm not in the Agni Kais, but fine, I'm in no position to fight you."

Tirea:<I got nothin'.>

Monu:<And I still am unsure as to what's going on.>
