Endgame

"Are you sure?" Noct said, aiming the car down a route to the station, "I should be able to help you out. Without us getting to Gabe would have been incredibly more difficult."

Eduj made a run to try collecting Hector, while Stefan just ran with the rest, chucking a pair of fireballs at Kali as he did so.

*Kali either doesn't notice him or doesn't care, but the Metalbending Cops are finally charging forward.*

<Kali, here!>

*He tosses some metal club things, which Kali catches.*

Kali<Finally.>

*Electricity courses through them so that Kali is now holding on to 2 poles glowing white hot & shooting sparks all over the place.*

R"Might be necessary...or maybe you should just save yourselves...."

Senthose<Okay.>

*He shoves Stefan at Kali & then runs out of the hole in the wall, Voland hot on his tail, but breathing heavily.*

Lin<Get going! I'll hold them off! I have unfinished business here, anyway.>

*Lin breaks off a chunk of the path above & below the Metalbending cops, so that only a few are able to hold on to the walls & resume their charge.*

E"Whatever you feel is best. I just want to get to the station as quickly as possible."

*Ven folds her arms.*

V"I'm not going in, I won't have anything to Bend."

E"You could still fight."

*Ven pounds on Euryale's chest so that they can all hear the ineffectual banging noises.*

E"Oh yeah. Point taken."

Noctis frowns, torn between staying with Ven, and helping Euryale, and Mortal, "Where will you two even go?"

"I'm, uh, not sure," Gabe admitted.

Stefan aimed his palms backwards and shot out a couple of flares to help bring himself to a halt before trying to run out through the hole again. Eduj slung Hector over a shoulder and ambled towards the hole.
"Help me carry him!" Astarte barked at Monu, already lifting Roatha by one shoulder.

*Taking it on faith that Monu & Tirea do as directed & everyone gets out of this shit, they now just have to get over the prison yard, up the stone wall with barbed wire on top, & they can escape into some seedy part of town. Spotlights from guard towers & an airship sweep over the area, trying to find them. Since it's only barely past sunset, they can see the silhouettes of Metalbenders moving around, & know that it's only a matter of time before they'll be spotted.*

V"I'm not leaving you. I just won't go into the prison."

E"Well, whatever you're doing, you'd better decide quickly."

*She points, indicating that they're nearing the station. Apparently, something is going on, because an airship is circling overhead with search lights & they can faintly hear an alarm coming from it.*

"Can't you two just wait in the car?" Noct asked.

"I guess so," Gabe said.

"Great, that settles that, lets get going before we lose any more time," Mortal said.

*Monu helps Astarte carry Roatha*

Tirea:<(I hope you guys have a plan.)>

The Terrible Trio and Astarte continued to follow.

*They park in an alley & Euryale gets out of the car.*

E"If you see cops coming, & we're not with them, just take off. Either get out of the city or go to the North end, where Gommu will be looking for you. Just be warned, once they can manage to press Noct with something, they'll freeze her assets. Which reminds me, you should probably have as much money drawn out as possible."

*The cops stomp, erecting stone pillars around the others that close together like walls.*

Eduj paused and stomped down, raising a large section of stone and slamming it with his free palm, sending it snowballing across the ground to slam into one of the pillars ahead. The others kept moving.

*Monu, still helping to carry Roatha, does a move similar to Eduj in order to help break the pillars*

Gabe nods in understanding of the order.

Noct, being a gangster who might one day need to make a quick getaway, already had a large stash of money, "That shouldn't be a problem."

OOC: Previous post was modified slightly, after I remembered that Beifong was supposed to be elsewhere. Shouldn't affect anything.

Senthose<We have to get through them somehow, & break through the wall!"

*The Waterbenders luck out, as night comes early. Since it's now winter, snow begins falling from the sky, slowly at first, but gradually picking up frequency. The Earthbenders try to capture them before too much gathers, stomping to send stonespikes at them, & swinging their cables at them. A few jump in the air, with the aims of catching any jumpers. The Airship starts shooting cables into the perimeter of the wall.*

*Meanwhile, as they run towards the headquarters, they can see the signs of battle over the prison yard wall.*

E"We've got a decision to make: Front door, or through that wall! In either case, we're too far away for me to check what we'll meet with the seismic sense!"

*Ven rubs her arms.*

V"It suddenly got cold...but I guess we shouldn't run down the gas...."

"Busting through a wall should give us an element of surprise," Mortal said.

Noctis tried not to make a comment about Mortal's brute force ways.

Gabe creates a little lick of flame to help warm the car, "This better, Ven?"

Astarte held a hand out into the sky and pulled a mass of the surrounding snow to her hand as it fell, liquefying it instantly and turning it to Healing water which she washed over Roatha.
Eduj took his free hand and curled the fingers, aiming his palm down at the ground as he stomped down a second time. As his stomp landed he lifted his hand and swung it to the side, raising a slightly curved barrier of stone for the group on that side.
Stefan painfully took a proper stance and fired a shot of lightning at one of the cable-firing cops on the other side.

*Monu creates a stone shield to block the spikes, sends it flying at the nearest attackers. Tirea uses liquified snow to create an ice shield*

*Once they get up close to the wall, Euryale cracks her knuckles. She punches the wall 3 times, putting small dents & spiderline fractures into it, then spins & kicks it, knocking away a section large enough for a small delivery truck to be driven through. She then points in with the 2 fingers of her right hand, & heads in.*

*On the other side, the cops quickly break down the rock barrier, being Earthbenders as well. The cop that Stefan hits is knocked out of the sky, but his arm & leg are wrapped in cables by others. Astarte gets similarly caught around the neck while healing Roatha, so he reaches up, grabbing the cable with one hand & putting his fingers to it with the other. A bolt of lightning then jumps up the cable in one direction, electrocuting the cop in question.*

Senthose<The balance of power has shifted.>

*He freezes the cables that come his way with one hand & raises his sword with the other. Spinning it around, he begins to gather a tornado of snow around him. Voland holds his hands out, gathering the snow that's already piling on the ground in front of him, & blows outward, causing it to rearrange around some of the cops as a thin chunk of ice.*

*Ven shifts closer to Gabe.*

"Do you think she keeps a blanket in here?"

Gabe looked around, "I don't see one."

Mortal and Noctis follow after her.

*Monu creates a shield around Astarte and Roatha, then stomps his foot to create a rock pillar to try damage the prison yard's wall. Tirea sends a long water whip to try and grab one of the attackers, then slam him/her onto the ground*

Astarte kept on healing, "Is it getting any better?"
Eduj started moving forwards again with a kind of loping stride, each step springing up a half-torso sized boulder from the ground which he smacked powerfully at the cops as he went. Stefan first grabbed the cable on his arm and electrocuted it. If successful he would immediately move onto the leg cable.

OOC: Good enough.

*They break the boulders apart & counterattacked, quickly wrapping Eduj up in cables. After seeing the Firebenders take out 2 cops, another pair punch the ground, forming stone gauntlets, & then jump forward to punch them in the nose. Roatha coughs on the ground.*

R"It was."

*The cop then kicks him in the side, sending him rolling. After Tirea beats someone down, Senthose swings his weapon, sending the snow tornado over the cops. Once they're swept up in the blizzard, it freezes solid, & that's the end of that. Euryale runs past, then stops to stare at the frozen cops, before a large arrow the size of a small tree smacks into the ground near her & explodes, sending her flying.*

E"They have Purist weapons in the airship!"

V"Hey, look!"

*She points in the direction of the search lights, which have big plumes of dust silhouetted against them.*

"Couldn't you use that dust?" Gabe asked.

"S-Sentho-- Euryale!?" Mortal rushed over to her side to try and help her up.

Noctis is shocked as well, but probably for slightly different reasons. She also rushes to Euryale's side to make sure she is alright.

*Tirea runs over to check o Euryale as well*

Monu:<That's impossible...>

Eduj tossed Hector onto the ground before being tied. He tried to keep from being dragged by pushing up mounds of stone with his feet and pushing against them. Meanwhile Hector started liquefying snow around his face and splashing himself, trying to regain his senses.
Astarte's water ceased to glow and half of it shot towards the cop's head, freezing on impact.
Stefan fell on his ass and rolled back away from the cop, moving a few feet back and jumping back up to his feet and throwing a few jabs of fire at them.
