Better Left Forgotten

Astarte leaned against the wall, arms folded.

"I hope you're right."

S"I'll surely get right on that. Mortal wants to know where you are, says she doesn't have her room key."

A"We're not hurt, or anything. We'll probably be going to bed soon, unless you need something from us."

E"I HAVE been thinking about getting an apartment."

Taiyo: "I hope it works out. I don't want to say goodbye for the last time."

Noct let out a sigh, not having enough energy to argue the point, "I'm at Astarte's, but last I checked the door was open anyway. Remember, something came in, and threw me out a window. Didn't exactly go back to lock the door."

Sab nodded, "Yeah, I'm tired..."

"Astarte should be done readying up the guest bedroom by now," Hector said. "I should make up the couch, too."

"I think I'll start looking this weekend."

"Hopefully not too tired."

"She says the door's probably still open from the guy who broke in & threw her out of the window. Of course, it might not be. And he could still be there. Also, your key is your ID, why don't you keep that in your wallet, or something?"

Taiyo: "Mind if I come with you?"

"I didn't have class today, so I didn't think I'd need it," Mortal said with a shrug.

"Yeah, well, I can't really help her with any of that," Noct said, shooting Astarte a glance, and noticing that she seemed a bit bored, "Listen. I'm exhausted. Let's talk tomorrow sometime. If Mortal can't get in I'm sure she can room with Gabe."

"Pretty tired," Sab said, letting out a small yawn, "It'd take a lot to keep me up right about now."

Hector gathered up empty glasses and the bottle of schnapps and took it all back to the kitchen.

*Eve follows silently*

*Cameron stares in the direction of the movement*

"She says you should take advantage of Gabe & sleep on her couch like a filthy hobo."

*Aroma takes Sab's hand & stands up.*

A"Ready to go?"

*Cameron is too busy being unconscious.*

"Of course not. I planned to move you in at some point, anyway. Oh, but you've gotta watch your parents right now, don't you?"

<I'm rather glad my parents are far away aright now. i wouldn't want them to get involved.>

"But... I don't have a couch," Gabe said, "She knows that."

"Don't worry, I'm a cuddler, it'll be great," Mortal said.

"I dislike you so much right now," Gabe said.

"Alright, well, if that's all, g'night, Senthose," Noct said, "Get home safe. Same to the others." With that, Noctis hung up, and looked at Astarte, "Sorry about that. Lets get to bed."

Sab stood up, "Yeah, I'm more than ready."

"That's alright," Astarte smiled and walked down the hallway to her door, opening it and turning on the light. The inside was quite neat and clean except for a desk on the far right. In the middle of the room stood a double bed with a polished wooden frame and dark blue bedding, except for the white sheets. "Not much, but comfortable."

Hector went to find a sheet and a blanket and brought them back to the couch, which he then folded out.

Taiyo: "I didn't think I'd be going home tonight. At least not while something could still be out there."

E"I didn't mean literally right now."

*Euryale arrives at her dorm. She unlocks the door & opens it a crack, peering inside.*

E"Looks clear."

*Aroma took Sab to their accommodations.*

"Something's not sitting right...it's not completely surprising that those morons would fail to investigate a possible hate crime or sexual assault. But they also took statements from myself & several other men, which conflict with the so-called theory that the whole event was fabricated to get revenge on ex-boyfriends."

*Senthose begins pacing, taking his drink with him, & taking periodic sips from it.*

"Perhaps some of the perpetrators are sons of cops? It could explain their unusual resources, & why evidence keeps disappearing. But why let your children use your equipment for that purpose? Unless, of course, that's what you want them to do."

*A man turns away from the blond he was talking to. She uses the opportunity to slip away.*

<What are you talking about?>

"Nothing that concerns you, so shut up. You should be more concerned with your atrocious pick-up lines."

<Alright, geez!>

"I like it," Noct said, "It feels warm... My room back home hardly seemed lived in at all." Noct walked over to Astarte's bed and was about to plop down when she realized she was wearing dirty clothes that she was running all day in, "Oh, right. Would you happen to have some pj's I can borrow?"

Sab plops down on her bed and lets out a long sigh, "Today sucked... I can't even think straight anymore." She reached underneath her shirt, and unclasped her bra, then took it off, and rolled onto her stomach, with her legs poking out off the side of the bed.

"Why would they want them to do that?" Gabe asked.

*Eve enters*

<I'll take the floor, you two should have the bed.>

Taiyo remains quiet unsure of how these accomodations will work out. I also forgot about Eve.

*Aroma rubs Sab's back.*

A"Yeah, but it made me think. We should enjoy the time we have together. I don't want to be controlled by fear. We have each other. That's what matters."

*She closes the door.*

"Yeah, the plan was for Taiyo to room with me. that said, at least use the couch, it's comfier than the floor."

S"The most coherent motive we have is still the homophobia. Remember, most of us weren't directly involved. It's possible that we are not directly targeted in the first place."

*Eve nods*

<Do you have a spare pillow & blanket?>

Taiyo: "I hope you don't feel like you're intruding or anything."

"Oh, yeah," Astarte walked over to her drawers and looked through. She looked up, "Do you want a top as well?"

Hector finished setting up the couch and went off to his own room to go to bed. Eduj lay down on the couch.

"So... a bunch of homophobic cops sent out their homophobic sons to beat up some lesbians?" Mortal asked, "Does that seem like... a lot of homophobic people concentrated in one spot?"

Noct tilted her head slightly, and smirked, "Do you want me to have a top?"

Sab rolled onto her side, and looked at Aroma, then nodded, "You're right. As long as I've got you, I have nothing to worry about."

Astarte blushed and looked back into the drawer, "It's... up to you."
