*Seeing him move to shoot, Senthose throws himself to the side, also tossing the flashlight at Grimm. He does his best to scramble to his feet & continue after the others & leave Astarte & Eve to fend for themselves.*

*When Lilith gets to the end of the alley, she turns back away from Grimm. Thiera follows. They are now on a section of the street full of make-up & clothing stores.*

Nurse<I heard it too. Stay on the line, I'll go back into the office & call the police!>

Grimm lifted Astarte by the collar and shoved her at Eve, sending her stumbling over to fall at her feet. He motioned at them to move in the way of the church, "We're going to the church, and maybe I can still save you so long as you tell me no lies."

Stefan was still running for the church.

*Eve catches Astarte and holds her up*

<May I take my phone?>

"If you tell whoever is on the other end that nothing is wrong and then put it away, yes," Grimm advanced on them. "Hurry up, move. I don't want the blood of the hapless on my hands."

OOC: Because arguing with people over this is annoying, is EVERYONE now clear that this is what's going on? Eve & Grimm are facing each other. The alley is in between them. Somewhere beyond Eve is the church, & somewhere beyond Grimm the police station.

*Eve picks up the phone*

<Everything is fine.>

*She then hangs up and pockets her phone, then starts helping Astarte along towards the church*

OOC: It isn't complicated, what on Earth is wrong with you that you can't comprehend standing on opposite sides in front of a fucking alleyway? Holy shit.

*Lilith eventually stops running & looks back.*

L"Hey, where are Senthose, Astarte, & Eve?"

T"We should go back!"

L"To that maniac with the gun?! Absolutely not! We should get some more distance, then wind back around to the police station."

T"We can't just leave them there!"

*Of course, a crowd is now staring at them, mostly women with a lot of shopping bags.*

*Grimm might want to do something quickly, because police sirens are now approaching.*

Grimm hurried them and looked for somewhere they might slip off of the path they were on while staying on course towards the church.

Stefan was presumably still on his way to the church as fast as his pasty legs could carry him.

Azuma: "Call anyone else that might be there."

*Since whatever Leafy does won't really affect his plan, Senthose shoots out of the alley as Grimm passes it, grabbing his gun arm by the wrist. He slips his other arm around Grimm's neck & begins squeezing, as well as trying to force the pistol in the priest's face. If Grimm survives, he will likely never forget the excited, anticipatory grin that Senthose has right now.*

"You ready to die, Old Man? I warned you about playing with this thing, & I won't be as merciful as Euryale undoubtedly was."

*As the sirens get louder, both men are going to have to make a quick decision about what to do before the cops turn that corner.*

*Stefan is back at the church, for all of the good that will do him. By this point, it's late afternoon, so this area is actually pretty crowded.*

L"Look, let's just--"

*Lilith reaches for Thiera, who jerks away.*

T"No! I can't just leave them behind! I can't!"

L"Look, we did our best to get everyone away, but we have to KEEP MOVING. They're not the only ones missing, remember? We can't help the others if we're all too busy getting shot by some crazy priest."

Girl<What the Hell are you guys talking about?>

*Eve pulls Astarte down the alley after the others, looking for a shop or something to go in*

"Thank you... for erasing any doubt," Grimm said, managing to keep the pistol out of his face by virtue of strength, though were it to fire he'd likely go deaf. "You're no friend to those children. You're a dark one."
He swung his free arm around his head to grab Senthose by the hair and pull the side of their faces together, then pulled with all his might to bring the pistol to bear on Senthose's forehead. If successful contact were made he would fire once.

Stefan approached the church and checked to see if he could get in.

As apparently the instructions weren't clear, Azuma takes the reciever to call Mimiru.

*Senthose leans slightly so that he's out of reach. He also tries to drag him into the alley.*

"I don't care what you think about me. At least I'm not some disgusting hypocrite who blames God, Satan, & my victims for my crimes."

*As the cop cars round the corner, Grimm is starting to lose strength in his extremities.*

"So why hasn't Euryale so much as called? Did you kill her? Tie her up in some rape dungeon somewhere? No, you probably let someone more powerful get rid of her FOR you. But it looks like you didn't get them all. Too bad. You won't get a second chance."

He hangs up as no one talks to him to have any other numbers.

*Eve keeps running, looking for a more populated area*

Grimm lurched forward to keep them in view of the oncoming cops and used his other hand to keep the gun aiming skyward, then fired every loaded shot.

Stefan tried the back.

*It is also locked, & by the way, he sees a figure with a porkpie hat through the stained glass windows.*

*So everyone joins Eve in running for high ground. Not that I know where the Hell they're going.*

*As the cruisers park, Senthose shoves Grimm into the street & runs off.*

*Eve runs at the others*

Grimm dropped the spent pistol to the ground and dropped to one knee, rubbing his neck and steadying his breath.

Stefan hurried back out onto the street and looked around for Grimm.

*They stop so they don't run past Eve.*

L"...What?"

<Senthose is trying to kill Grimm! They were wrestling when we got away.>

"They tried to murder me!" Grimm pointed at the gun on the ground. "The Cyprus girl pulled a gun on me, and they're getting away!"

Stefan sat by the side of the road, occasionally glancing back at the church.
