*Thiera is asleep, so Aroma calls her girlfriend.*

*If it is not during the school day, Eve is at home, bored and watching the TV, hoping Thiera will call her or something*

On her way to school because it's goddamn Thursday, Taiyo answers.

Taiyo: "Hi, Aroma."

On the bright side, Cameron gets out tomorrow, so how cool is that? Maybe one of his friends will come visit him. Or family if he suddenly doesn't have friends.

Eve and anyone else indulging in the watching of television assuming they're tuned in to the news, learn that a series of tags representing the Red Crescent Demons were found at the site of last nights attacks.

"Hi, Taiyo. Do you have a minute? There are...a few things I want to talk to you about."

*Groggily staggering to class after being dragged out of bed, Artemis answers.*

"Ugh--yullo?"

*Eve's mother rushes her out the door and into the car. They then drive to school*

Dr Tantus:<Eve, you're not normally this tired. Is something the matter?>

*Eve shakes her head*

<Damn it, Art, I thought you were hurt or something! What the hell happened?!>

*After dropping Kylie off at school, the Sorensons go to visit Cameron*

Taiyo: "Uh-huh. What's up?"

"Well, there's something I've been meaning to ask you...but first I should probably get your advice on something. That is, Thiera has been in bed ever since she got back yesterday. I tell her she's missing her classes, she says she doesn't want to go. I say that something is happening on the news, she says she doesn't care. I've never seen her like this before. I'm really worried. What should I do?"

"Oh, sorry. I couldn't answer while I was out crime fighting, then when I got h--h--haaawww...! Ugh. Yawn. Sorry. Anyway, after I got home, I fell right asleep."

*She yawns again.*

*Eve waves her mother good bye, then heads to class, yawning*

*The Sorensons park and head into the hospital*

Taiyo: "I don't know...maybe she'll come around when she's ready."

Aro"But what's wrong with her? She won't tell me what happened."

*Amanda hangs up and hops off the bus when it arrives*

*Eve sits in her seat in first period, yawning*

*The Sorensons enter Cameron's room, causing him to wake up suddenly*

*Kylie sits in her seat, head in her hands and eyes scrunched closed as if in pain. Anyone else in the room might feel it rumble slightly, as if a huge truck just drove past*

*Presumably, they're on the same bus route, & Artemis eventually stumbles on & sits next to her, looking as though she might be sleepwalking.*

"She's been acting strange ever since she got home last night. I think something happened when she was on patrol, but I don't know what. I left Specter a message, but he hasn't replied yet."

Taiyo: "She'll come around eventually."

*Amanda looks Artemis up and down, the disapproval clear on her face*

<...I'll make sure you don't walk into a wall or anything.>

Cameron:<Oh, hey, I didn't know you were coming today.>

*His parents move on either side of his bed*

Mrs Sorenson:<Of course we came. We're your parents. We love you.>

OOC: Not my fault she can't walk & talk at the same time.

"Okay...there was one other thing I wanted to ask you. I wanted to ask you yesterday, but you were at work, & then things came up, & I just never got a chance to call you & now this & I wanted to make sure Thi was okay first & Idon'tknowhowtoaskthisbutuhhhh...."

*She takes a few steadying breaths.*

"I'm sorry, I've never done this. I guess it's silly to be nervous about asking my girlfriend if she wants to go on a date, but--well--do you? I mean, it's okay if you're busy or something! Not that I don't want to! It's just...well."

*Aroma seems to have confused herself into silence. Taiyo should probably take this opportunity to answer before she starts babbling again.*

Taiyo: "Yes, of course."

*Amanda shoves Artemis in front of her, both hands on Artemis's shoulders as she directs her through the crowd*

*Kylie's classmates and teacher suddenly feel very depressed and angry*

*Artemis does what might be a nod.*

A doctor enters Cameron's room with a clipboard and looking all doctory.

Doctor: "Good morning, Cameron and Mister & Misses Sorenson."

Mrs. Sorenson:<Good morning Doctor, how are you today?>

*Amanda eventually navigates Artemis to her seat and sits her down, then sits down in the next desk over*

Amanda:<You're lucky we don't have anything important today.>

"Great! When do you want me to come get you? Where do you want to eat out--err, eat, that is?"

*Artemis nods vaguely, almost slides off of her chair, & jolts awake, grabbing the desk for support & looking around.*

*Amanda takes off her jacket and uses it to tie Artemis to the back of her chair*

Amanda:<Mornin'.>

June, also a God-fearing well-rounded school student, was presumably in the vicinity of Artemis and Amanda. She approached and stared at Artemis in particular, "How high are you? You're baked."

Taiyo: "I get done work around six-thirty, how does quarter after seven work? There's a sushi place downtown that's really good."

Doctor: "I'm fine, thank you."

Presumably after some idle banter, the doctor flips through the pages on the clipboard and tells them Cameron has cancer before coming to the page he's looking for.

Doctor: "There hasn't been any change in Cameron's condition since he was brought her Tuesday, so we're discharging him early."

As people yelling about drugs and tying dames to chairs with coats is totally going to attract attention, the Three Stooges classmates begin mumbling and talking about themselves about what kind of weirdos those three are.

Thankfully everyone is unaware of how agitated everyone is in another classroom elsewhere in the school where Kylie's class is.
