The cat ignores her and resumes rolling around for a bit before standing up and wandering off because cats aren't in the listening business.

*She points her thumb to her chest.*

"I meant--oh, nevermind. So, I talked to Aroma and I guess I'm going to be house-sitting for her while you 2 are off doing--y'know--whatever."

*She starts doing that thing with her eyebrows again.*

June buried her head in her arms on the desk and began continuing her work on Tyler, but slowly collecting moisture around his groin instead of his pits. By the time the 15 minutes was up he would probably be suspecting that he smelled like an old jock strap.

Amanda:<I forgot you were the eternal virgin.>

*She looks away in an attempt to not smile*

Eve:{Talk to you later then.}

*Eve hangs up, then starts heading over to Jin's on her bike*

Taiyo either doesn't follow or she's ignoring it.

Taiyo: "Maybe Thiera might open up to you."

She steps over the kittens to leave as holding a bag of shit kind of sucks.

*She crosses her arms.*

"I can have anyone I want, but won't settle for some creep trying to watch me in the shower."

*Her eyebrows stop dead in mid-dance.*

"I don't see why she would, if she's really as bad as Aroma says. But...well, no offense, but what if Aroma's just gotten herself all worked up over nothing? What if Thiera just has a cold, or something?"

*Ven starts to follow.*

Amanda:<Relax, Romeo, I think Artemis is a cool goddess. Better than Hera, that's for sure.>

Taiyo: "I don't think Thiera would shut herself in if it were only a cold."

In short order, Taiyo opens a door to a room that says Employees Only. Hopefully Ven doesn't follow.

I don't care if she arrives or not, it wasn't me who...okay, I did forget Jin, but it wasn't me who plain ol' did nothing with her.

V"She might, if she were really sick, tired, and contagious...."

*Ven stands awkwardly nearby, perhaps looking like a lost puppy.*

*Wiping her brow, she drops to the ground, picking up her backpack with her legs & starting to do curls with it.*

Amanda:<Detention's what, 30-45 minutes after school, right? She'll be out soon.>

*Eve parks her bike out of sight, then creeps over to Jin's window and knocks quietly on it*

Whenever the bullshit detention is over, June goes out looking for the others.

Jin opens the window, looking out with a face like a death row inmates'.

Parrot: "Bitch!"

Whether or not the parrot is squawking at that lost pupper or just squawking is a mystery, but Taiyo comes back a couple minutes later.

Taiyo: "I don't think she can get sick so easily."

*Ven is thus roused out of snarling & baring her teeth at the parrot.*

V"True--the plant thing--but then, what else could be wrong? What should we do about it?"

Art"Then I guess we might as well hit the showers. I probably smell like an old gym sock by now."

Eve:<(Jin! I have some good news. We're going out tonight! Meet me at the bottom of my street once it gets dark, alright?>

Amanda:<Lead the way.>

June wanders into the gym, because her foe is predictable.

"Awesome," Jin brightened up. "What are we doing?"

Taiyo: "I don't know. Maybe she'll talk about when she's ready."

*Ven shrugs.*

"Well, it can't be worse than hanging around my place, at any rate."

*Artemis presumably spots June while heading to the locker rooms, looking like a Gatorade ad.*

"Finally. Y'know, I hope you're proud of yourself. Thanks to you, I have to get all hot & steamy inside the school."

"I have that effect," June nodded. "But transparent attempts at flattery aside, sure I am. You know you enjoy hitting inanimate objects more when you're annoyed."

Amanda:<How was detetion with Tyler?>

"I made him wet, too, but he's such a pig I don't think he even noticed. Boring."

"...What if we get in trouble again?"

Taiyo: "None of us would know."

*Eve looks shocked, then stares down at her feet*

Eve:<I...I know Cameron got injured, but I really want to try and help people. Do you think that's wrong?>

June waits for shower time to end.

"Of course it's not wrong!" Jin leans all the way out the window at Eve. "But this time... we gotta be on the ball! Failing is just a lesson, after all."

*Eve nods*

Eve:<We will be. Now, I gotta get back before one of my parents tries calling the house. Hopefully they'll let me visit Cameron soon.>

*She waves and heads back to her bike, then starts for home*
