Episode Thirteen: Last Laugh

E"Yeah, let's skip to the part where we're gang-stabbing you in the face. Unless you want to tell us where the real Roatha is, & maybe beg for mercy a bit."

A"Uhh...where am I...what...?"

*Aroma's eyes flutter open long enough to see Pissman before she faints again.*

E"Damn it, Aroma!"

Piedmon: "Didn't you see the bundle in the center of the orchard?"

The doors slam shut and mirrors rise from the floor and rapidly expand to overtake the walls and ceiling, Piedmon stepping back into one, appearing in all of them, the ballroom now a house of mirrors.

Piedmon: "I tried to be conspicuous about it, but none of you were ever the sharpest tools in the shed. If you were my tools, I'd have thrown you all away--"

Each Piedmon draws a sword from the right except for one which draws from the left, all throwing in unison.

Piedmon: "Like this!"

*Kylie and Cameron biomerge, becoming Dianamon and Ornismon respectively. Both of them take to the air to avoid the swords, then attack Piedmon with arrows and mouth laser. Terriermon becomes Magnamon, and picks up Eve before flying out of the way of the swords. He then uses Magna Blaster*

Magnamon:<Because you've told the truth about everything else, right?>

E"Fine, keep playing dumb, see if I care."

*Guilmon becomes War Growlmon, grabbing Euryale, Aroma, & Lalamon. Hoping his metal parts will protect from the swords, he aims his Atomic Blaster at Piedmon. Aroma groans, her eyes fluttering open again.*

L<Biomerge! Now!>

*So she does that, using Rose Velvet to shatter the mirrors.*

As the mirrors shatter, they reform as no one bothered to attack the one that was not like the other.

The three Biomerge and avoid the swords either through deflection with weapons or plain ol' avoidance in Magnadramon's case.

The Piedmon reflections each draw two swords right then left except for one that draws left then right and hurl them at Ornismon as it is the biggest target.

*She destroys all of the mirrors. Again. Because that's what it said. This time with vines or whatever. Not that War Growlmon didn't shoot the main mirror anyway. Or that it matters what anyone does. Probably should just take a page out of your book & post bullshit about spontaneous heart attacks.*

*Ornismon uses Tempest to blow the swords away, Dianamon deflecting any that remain with her scythe. Magnamon uses Magna Blaster on the one different Piedmon*

Magnamon:<Eve, it'd be good if we could biomerge about now!>

The mirror Magnamon fires on shatters (because that's how you specify a target), the other mirrors shattering and raining glass down on them.

Soaring through the falling glass, a white handkerchief flies towards Eve, rapidly expanding until it consumes her and Magnamon by association. They get a lovely glimpse of the not so distant past with Roatha, bleeding out and going insane on top of Dorugamon while a dark rendition of him expresses remorse over VR-Craniummon running them through.

Those not too distracted by being pelted with glass just see that there's a sheet over them that's getting cut up by the falling glass.

On the floor Piedmon holds an umbrella to shield itself from the rain.

OOC: I did specify a target. All of the mirrors. You're just salty that Aroma is powerful. You homophobe.

*Rosemon starts to head for Eve, but Euryale bites her lip, glaring at Pissman, before reluctantly moving in front of her.*

E"You're much stronger than we are right now! You take the sad excuse for a clown, we got this!"

*Looking frankly touched, Rosemon sends a series of thorns from her whip at Piedmon, while swinging her rapier & launching a bolt of lightning at him from the other side. WarGrowlmon holds his arms over everyone on the ground, trying to protect them, & pulls the sheet off of Eve.*

*Eve screams as she sees the gruesome image, Magnamon attempting to cover her eyes with one of his hands. He keeps his hand there until WarGrowlmon gets the sheet off. 

Magnamon:<You need to remember that it's not real Eve. It's not real...>

*Eve shakes her head*

<I...I don't know...>

*Dianamon shelters under Ornismon's wings, then starts to fire arrows at Piedmon. Ornismon uses his mouth laser*

The floor other than where Piedmon stands become lava, prompting anyone who'd bother to still on the floor to in theory take flight. A pillar of lava erupts around Piedmon to intercept the incoming attacks, a dark purple light shining bright enough to be seen through the lava.

The pillar drops and the ground hardens, Piedmon stands holding the Dark DigiMemory.

Piedmon: "Some people laughed. Some people cried. Most were silent."

It takes a bow, pressing the DigiMemory to their chest, the dark purple light encasing it and soon fading revealing ChaosPiedmon, the Dark DigiMemory in the center of its chest.

ChaosPiedmon: "Now I am become death. The destroyer of worlds."

*Everyone takes flight, however now Eve looks more angry than upset*

Eve:<How dare you...first you...you...whether Roatha remains alive or not, I know what I have to do now. Biomerge Digivolution!>

*Green light and purple light surround Eve and Magnamon, then is blasted away to reveal Raijimon*

<Raijimon!>

*They proceed to shock ChaosPiedmon with lightning, sithlord style. Dianamon adds in her arrows, and Ornismon his mouth laser*

*I guess Rosemon & War Growlmon respectively strafe to the left & right, adding to the lightning.*

With a wave of its arm, ChaosPiedmon deflects their attacks and sinks into the ground, the surrounding walls becoming mirrors showing the scene Eve was brave enough to witness over and over again.

The top half of ChaosPiedmon emerges, a giant as tall as Ornismon is long, the Dark DigiMemory glowing like a target. Multiple ChaosPiedmon's emerge to surround the giant and begin spinning rapidly, obscuring the Dark DigiMemory except for two bare spots spaced apart.

SlashAngemon charges to stab into the DigiMemory when its visible only for the wall to stop and repel them.

The giant waves its arm, sending large playing cards towards everyone.

*Dianamon fires arrow at the cards aimed at everyone, starting with the one aimed at her and then Ornismon. Ornismon fires his mouth laser at the digimemory, while Raijimon moves out of the way of the card, then blasts the digimemory with lightning*

*Because a wall is 2 dimensional, my bitches fly up & shoot lightning at the Digi-Memory.*

The collossal ChaosPiedmon recoils and sinks into the ground with its shield. From the floor and walls, several ChaosPiedmon made of glass or stone emerge, swords drawn and lunge or throw themselves at their enemies based on where they're coming from.

SlashAngemon parries the blades of one and quickly destroys it as the ChaosPiedmon dolls are quite fragile only having numbers to their advantage, but gets overwhelmed by others. Magnadramon and Sakuyamon have similar experiences, but having wide area of effect abilities, they have less to worry about when it comes to being overwhelmed.

*Dianamon uses Crescent Harken to make the ChaosPiedmon attack themselves. Ornismon uses Tempest to blow them back against the wall, while Raijimon uses their lightning on the ones coming towards them*

*Chain Lightning to break the dolls.*

The vision being shown on the walls changes to a close-up of Roatha's remains which they should be familiar with, but now they get the pleasure of seeing them on an fully surrounding jumbotron to really make out all the details.

With the dolls gone, the giant emerges business as usual, hurling cards around that split into multiples to slice and dice and make them harder to avoid as Magnadramon and SlashAngemon to an extent can attest to.

*Dianamon uses her scythe to fend off cards, while Ornismon blows them away before firing on the digimemory, if he can see it. Raijimon blasts the cards, and then Piedmon, with lightning*

*WarGrowlmon defends himself with armor & claws, taking whatever opportunity he can to try to potshot the Digi-Memory with lightning. Rosemon does roughly the same thing, but using her whip & rapier to defend instead.*

ChaosPiedmon sinks into the ground and emerges a short while later, pulling itself out of the ground, standing upright, its head barely touching the ceiling, the DigiMemory blinking in and out of view.

In this state, they can see parts of its body breaking and flaking off like old paint, its previous appearance visible underneath.

With one hand it reaches for a sword sheathed on its back, pommel facing down, the tip of the sword dragging against the ground. With its other hand, it reaches for Ornismon, its hand bigger than the Ruler of the Skies.

*Ornismon roars and flaps his wings, using Tempest while he hops backwards. If the hand gets close enough, Ornismon claws the shit out of it. Dianamon attempts to slice off the hand with the sword, and Raijimon fires lightning at the digimemory when it appears*

*Rosemon grabs the hand with her whip while shooting thorns at the Digi Memory. War Growlmon uses Atomic Blaster on said Digi Memory.*
