Old Ones Return (VII)

*Thiera stands up & walks over with somewhat disturbing serenity. Tsune & Gomamon just kind of follow her awkwardly.*

Th"Someone needs to go fetch MagnaAngemon."

*She then looks up. Euryale has calmed down, if you can call it that. She has stopped thrashing in Greymon's arms, & instead broken down into tears.*

Th"As for her, I have an idea of what is happening, but am not sure if we can help."

*Next she glances sideways at Taiyo & Renamon.*

Th"And you should know, this probably won't be the last time this happens."

Taiyo: "She'll get better."

Biyomon:<I'll go do that.>

*So he does. Kylie looks from Taiyo to Euryale, very concerned*

Kylie:<You sure you don't want anything, Taiyo?>

Lunamon:<There has to be something we can do for Euryale!>

Th"I have some ideas. I am hardly qualified, but we have no other options."

*She glances at Taiyo & Renamon again.*

Th"Your support will help her greatly, but are you sure you can pay the price? The next time she mistakes you for an enemy, she might kill you. Especially if she is armed at the time."

Ts"How could anyone worry, with how great you've been at improving the mood lately?"

*Gomamon looks at everyone, speechless, as Greymon marches off towards the stream, the ground shuddering with his steps.*

*Meanwhile, something nearly invisible speaks to Biyomon, probably freaking him out.*

<We PawnChessmon were ordered to watch you humans carefully. We can take you to the boy partnered with the angel.>

Renamon: "I won't let that happen."

*Biyomon does indeed jump and look freaked out*

<Oh! Thank you.>

*They go, I guess*

*Everyone looks Tsuna, then back to Thiera*

Cameron:<Hey, that wasn't really necessary!>

*Kylie and Lunamon follow Greymon*

*Greymon waves his tail to ward them off.*

A<Little privacy, please?>

Ts"Whatever."

*Tsune shoves her hands in her pockets & looks away. Thiera glances back at her before looking back to Renamon.*

Th"You should return to sleep. As for you--well, let's just say I am not convinced. Bring Euryale to me in the morning, things will be simpler if we start before I leave."

*So she turns & heads back to her stick shack.*

*PawnChessmon sets off wordlessly. Assuming Biyomon follows, Hideki & Azuma eventually see Biyomon & some other Rookie Digimon trudging through the forest towards them.*

They look at the approaching Digimon as if any of them will make anything better.

*Biyomon hurries over*

Biyomon:<I'm so glad I found you! Euryale needs MagnaAngemon's help!>

*He motions for them to follow them back with his wing*

*Kylie and Lunamon turn back and flop down, looking kinda dejected*

*Lyra and Cameron both go lay down, but sleep does not come easily to ether*

*Taiyo becomes acutely aware that the bedding is drenched. Meanwhile, Tsune approaches Renamon, pointing in the general direction of Thiera's hut.*

Ts"Hey, are we sure it's a good idea to let her psycho-analyze Euryale? What if she loses it too? What if she's already lost it?"

Doesn't take a talking bird to figure that out, but the talking bird didn't make anything better as expected. Either way Azuma returns to camp as without him there's no MagnaAngemon.

Maybe it's blood, maybe it's sweat, maybe someone recently developed a disgusting fetish, but Taiyo still gets up as she should wash the blood off herself.

*Cameron sits up and looks at Tsune and Renamon*

<What do you think we should do then?>

Ts<I don't know, why are you asking me?>

*Presumably the others waltz back into the camp to notice Taiyo standing around with blood gushing from her nose &, off in the distance, Greymon hanging around by the stream's edge.*

Azuma goes to fetch Patamon as I figure not everyone is crammed into the same yurt like a bunch of hamsters. When he returns, Patamon Digivolves and patches up Taiyo.

Taiyo: "Thank you."

Cameron:<I don't know, you're the one who's against it?>

*Biyomon comes over and lays down beside Cameron*

Lyra:<...Can you guys keep the noise down? Some of us are trying to sleep here.>

Ts"That doesn't mean I have all the answers!"

Azuma: "It's better than none."

Cameron:<Neither do I! I...>

*Cameron is about to finish his sentence when Lyra sits up, glaring at him*

Lyra:<Talk. In. The. Morning.>

*Greymon regresses & a shape, presumably Agumon, runs off in a seemingly random direction. Tsune's head snaps to glare at Azuma.*

Ts"Oh yeah? So what's YOUR answer?"

Azuma: "You have more answers than anyone else. Figure it out."

Lyra:<If you guys are going to fight about this shit, can you do it some where else?>

Ts"No need, I'm done listening!"

*So she storms off.*

G<Uhh...sorry, she's just a little on edge. I guess we all are, really.>

*So he trots off after her.*

*Lyra lays back down, staring up at the sky*

MagnaAngemon reverts to Rookie and returns to his own sleeping area with Azuma.

Everyday.

*And so everything is still. Unless someone decides to do something else within the next few hours, morning will arrive abruptly, as it does in the Digital World.*
