Episode Fifteen: The Value of a Miracle Is...

The interior of the throne room much like the rest of the castle is made or stone and crystal, the bones of the land. Across from the Chosen Children, the Thousand Year Monster Millenniummon stares down at them, eyes full of fire.

Millenniummon: "I will undo the damage of his ignorance. Force the dead to their rest and keep the waters flowing. My empire will be ordered, obedient, and neither ghosts nor gods will plague it. And you are all that stands between me and the new peace!"

The psycho blasters come to life, energy gathering in the barrels and fires.

Ornismon:<Scatter!>

*Everyone gets the fuck out of the way of the blasters, spreading out to avoid giving Millenniummon an easy target. Dianamon fires on its eyes to blind it, while Ornismon uses Cosmic Ray on the place where the blasters connect to the rest of Millenniummon's body. Raijimon sends lightning bolts at its face while yelling*

Raijimon:<Where is he?! What did you do with Roatha and Dorumon!?>

Magnadramon and SlashAngemon scatter while Sakuyamon erects a shield to protect themself as well as Gallantmon and Rosemon Burst Mode.

Millenniummon shows itself to be more agile than its appearance would let on and evades their attacks. It opens its mouth and fires a Heat Viper at Raijinmon, ignoring their pleas as it has done nothing to those two and because it's not nearly as chatty as every other villain.

OOC: Oh shit, I'm in this RP.

G<"What the Hell are you even babbling about? Answer, you huge pile of junk!">

*Hoping Sakuyamon will follow, they follow the order to scatter, lashing out with some light electric blast attacks because it would be dumb to waste their strongest moves without having an idea of what this asshole can do, & also hoping that they can surround him & take him out in a huge omnidirectional assault.*

*Raijinmon dives away from the attack aimed their way. Meanwhile, Dianamon and Ornismon fly around Millenniummon in an attempt to get in on the omnidirectional assault, then use Tempest and Arrow of Artemis respectively. Raijimon adds in lightning again*

The shockwave from the Heat Viper knocks Raijinmon off course, so so much for that. While Sakuyamon does scatter, Millenniummon plunges its arms into the ground, one emerging to grab Dianamon while the other grabs Ornismon, slamming both of them to the ground.

Opening its mouth, Millenniummon fires a black orb at Gallantmon that rapidly expands as it approaches.

Magnadramon and SlashAngemon attempt to flank the monster, instead it jumps and clings to the back wall, firing its Psycho Blasters down at them. It doesn't feel good.

*Raijinmon lands to regain their balance, then takes off to help free Dianamon. Dianamon struggles and hacks at the hand with her scythe. Ornismon bellows in rage and struggles, clawing at the hand holding him*

*Drops down to avoid the attack, then, figuring it has anchored itself, attempts to Final Elysium it in the mouth. She also gestures at the cannons with her lance. Taking the hint, Rosemon Gainax aims tipheret shots into their barrels.*

As it's moving around, it isn't anchored down. The attack launched at Gallantmon strikes a wall, a segment of it ripped out and floating in some crazy dimension which then collapses.

Millenniummon jumps down to avoid Gallantmon's attack. Magnadramon and SlashAngemon attempt to attack Millenniummon but share the same fate that Dianamon and Ornismon had with being bashed into the ground.

Sakuyamon conjures up some fox spirits which are more of a minor nuisance to the monster.

*Since nothing was said about their escape attempt, Ornismon and Dianamon are presumably still trying to escape the hands holding them. Raijinmon fires lightning on the cannons as well, moving back towards Gallantmon*

OOC: The battle with Villainsuemon is about as annoying as I thought it would be.

*Jumps up & Final Elysiums again, while Rosemon Bust fires more Tipheret crystals.*

There's no hands holding them down on account of said hands having been used to bash in SlashAngemon & Magnadramon, so those two are ineffective when they shouldn't be.

Millenniummon fires a black sphere which expands, taking the incoming attacks into it before collapsing, followed by a Heat Viper towards Gallantmon.

In the reclaimed city of New Fallout, Zarek paces back and forth while Ebemon types away at a terminal while its others arms work on various other things.

Zarek: "How much longer until the steed is finished?"

Ebemon: "Won't be much longer. It isn't easy to rebuild it from the ground up."

OOC: Millenniummon was 4 arms, six if you count the aura shit.

*Ornismon and Dianamon take to the air again, Ornismon firing mouth laser at Millenniummon's head again and Dianamon attempting to put him to sleep with Goodnight Moon. Raijinmon combines their lightning with Ornismon's attack. Everyone flies anyway from any attacks headed their way*

Ornismon:<This is completely pointless!>

*Gallantmon decides to throw caution to the wind, weathering the blast with her shield & firing Final Elysium at the prick. Seeing this, Rosemon sees if she can knock Heat Viper off-course & distract Villainsuemon with her Tipheret crystal attack.*

OOC: I took to viewing the smaller set of arms as more like forelegs. Can only image the burden of that cannon on one's back.

Even if successfully knocked off course, the shockwave from the attack knocks Gallantmon off balance.

Millenniummon intercepts Ornismon and Raijinmon's attacks with cannon fire, creating an explosion large enough to floor the poor bastards in the room.

At the entrance of the throne room, the air begins to shimmer and then contort as if something is about to open.

Ebemon: "Not the field test I had in mind, but it'll have to do. I do hope it isn't destroyed again."

With a few rattles on the keyboard, the steed comes to life to complete its primary objective. To act as the mount for the knight it was meant for.

*Since everyone got floored, they all get back up again, because there's nothing else they can do. Dianamon flies up in front of Milleniummon's face, attempting to use Goodnight Moon to put it to sleep. Meanwhile, Ornismon flies around to tackle Milleniummon from behind. Raijinmon's fires electricity at its face to help with the distraction, while moving back towards the mysterious shimmering*

Raijinmon:<Gallantmon! Over here!>

G<What? Why?>

*She nonetheless backs towards that area, shooting lightning bolts at Villainsuemon. Rosemon tries to edge closer to it while keeping it distracted with crystal blasts.*

Millenniummon plunges its hands into the floor, grabbing Dianamon to use as a lightning rod while the other grabs hold of one of Ornismon's wings and drags them down.

Tossing Dianamon aside, it withdraws its hands in time for SlashAngemon to barrel into it with Heaven's Ripper. When SlashAngemon rights themself, Millenniummon grabs both their arms and followed by a loud scream tears the Mega in half, tossing Azuma and Patamon aside.

The area in front of the door breaks apart and inside they can see a multi-colored pathway much like the one they ventured through at the start of their journey although rather than them going through it, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] comes flying towards them, Millenniummon moving to avoid the incoming Yugoth blasters that take sizable pieces out of the wall it was standing in front of.

Within the Data-Sphere, Euryale & Guilmon hear a digitized voice say "Crimson Mode initiate."

*As he's getting pushed down, Ornismon fires his giant mouth laser at Millenniummon, then moves to avoid the laser blasts. Dianamon tries to catch herself with her scythe before she flies to far backwards, then goes back to grab Azuma and Patamon before they end up crushed. Raijinmon creates a thunderstorm over the area Millenniumon has been occupied, sending lightning crashing down on its head*

Raijinmon:<Gallantmon, what's going on?!>

G<"Sorry!">

*Transformation.*

G<"I don't know...but I like it!">

*She hurls the spear in Villainsuemon's face, then flies around as fast as she can, cutting up his arms. Rosemon takes the opportunity to move behind him & try Charity, also firing all of the Tipherets she can at point blank.*

Azuma: "Patamon, can you still fight?"

Patamon: "Uh-huh."

Patamon wiggles free of Dianamon and Digivolves to MagnaAngemon whose healing is gonna come in handy.

Milleniummon intercepts the Gungnir with a Giga Cannon and traps Gallantmon Crimson Mode in a dimension with Time Unlimited when they're in front of it.

Milleniummon: "It would have been quick. But now, I'm gonna make you suffer!"

Milleniummon spins around grabbing Rosemon Burst Mode by the neck, the monster readying a Heat Viper. Sakuyamon jumps in to intervene with a staff strike, getting belted across the floor for their troubles.

*Raijinmon jumps forward, aiming lightning and a kick at Milleniummon's wrist, moving as fast as they can to avoid getting hit with the attack themselves. Ornismon claws at Milleniummon's back, while Dianamon aims an Arrow of Artemis at Milleniummon's eyes*

Millenniummon uses Rosemon Burst Mode as a shield from Dianamon's incoming attack while turning to fire the Heat Viper at Raijinmon which at point blank will do none of them any good.

*Raijimon uses their speed and agility to leap off of Milleniummon's wrist and away from the incoming attack. Ornismon crashes into Milleniummon's back, clawing/pecking at it*

Dianamon:<Rosemon! I'm so sorry!>

As previously established, the shockwave alone is going to result in some discomfort, so Raijinmon's daring escape isn't as graceful as they'd like it to be. Segments of the ceiling from the where the attack impacted fall to the floor below.

Tossing Rosemon Burst Mode aside, Millenniummon plunges its hands into the floor which emerge from the wall behind Ornismon, pulling them off and firing volleys of cannon fire to keep everyone at bay.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in maybe reality, maybe not, I imagine the dimension created by Time Unlimited is like looking through a two-way mirror meaning while Gallantmon Crimson Mode is nowhere to be seen in the castle, they can see everything going on there. And it'll hurt coming back.
