Abyssal Blade Rebellion

*Hitomi scambles to her feet and runs away from Lilith.*

Ark: <Woah, shit.>

*He runs and leaps forward, ramming Lilith*

*She slashes Ark down the front, grabbing him by the shoulder & forcing him down, making sure to step on a patch of grass.*

<In the Crusaders, we kill what we attack!>

*She stabs downward at his heart. Luna runs towards her, but it's clear that neither her nor Zephyr will get to them in time, even though a Meteor Shot fired by Ifrit leaves her critically wounded, bleeding profusely from her side & wheezing.*

Zephyr tries to make it anyway.

[Stupid thief.]

*Hitomi runs at Lilith, going to shoulder check her.*

*He grins, groaning*

Ark: <...It's all right.>

*Lilith falls, slashing wildly at Hitomi on her way down. Luna stops, casting Haste on Zephyr.*

*Hitomi falls backwards trying to avoid Lilith's attack.*

Zephyr uses his new found speed to catch up and block a few of Lilith's shots with his blade but takes a few slashes her and there. "We're not done yet!" he pushes her back and moves in for a body rending shot.

*They watch as Lilith flops around a bit.*

<Huh. I think she was already dead.>

"What, you mean like an unsent?"

<No, I mean I think she went into cardiac arrest before this guy started showing off. Hey, kid--err--Hitomi. Do you mind? I don't know any White Magic & I don't think you want to be carting me around. Might want to hit up your friend, too. I think he may have suffered a bit of brain damage at some point.>

"During the fight or from prior history?"

<Yes.>

*Luna is picking the lock on the cage around the waiting bench. With Abyssal Blades no longer breathing down their necks, the Hypello set to work on freeing the Shoopuff, although they keep fumbling & droping things.*

"I'll have to do a Sending before we leave. A lot of people died here. Such a waste...what do we do with her?"

*She jerks her head towards the unconscious white mage.*

Zephyr relents and walks over to Irfit giving him a good pat on the side before giving Luna a nod to say she can desummon him. He then proceeds to fall backwards on to the ground and put his arms behind his head. "Damn, that was some battle." At the question of what to do with the white mage, "We can interrogate her I guess."

"I suppose I could do that."

*Hitomi casts cure on Senthose. While healing Ark, she mutters something that sounds like "Stupid thief." When all is done she goes to retrieve her book picking the needles from it.*

~Hitomi is out of MP!~

*Luna begins dancing, casually waltzing on top of the Moonflow. The Pyreflies swirl around her rapidly, but somehow eerily calm. Pyreflies flow out of the dead bodies to join them as the White Mage begins to stir.*

~Group obtains 800 Gil, Reflect (Hitomi), Armor Break (Zephyr), Slow (Luna), Taunt (Ark)~

*Hitomi wipes the blood from her chin on the back of her hand and opens up the book.*

[Don't fall apart. Don't fall apart.]

"White mage chick's gonna wake up soon. We should decide what to do with her quick."

*Ark sits up, groaning and rubbing his chest*

Ark: <...Ouch.>

*He drags himself over to the white mage, looking from Hitomi, to Luna and Zephyr*

Ark: <...So, is everyone all right?>

"Yeah... what about you? Will you live to eat bananas another day monkey?" Zephyr teased.

*The book stays together. When the White Mage wakes up, she looks around at the assembled masses & starts running for the woods. A man approaches Hitomi. He has a sachel with a number of items & spheres in it.*

*Hitomi closes the book and sighs in relief before staring at the guy like he has two heads.*

"...What?"

Ark: <I will live to make you mad another day. Probably more.>

*He stares at the White Mage as she runs away and then walks to the merchant*

Ark: <What ya got?>

"Good to hear" Zephyr gets up and walks over to the merchant whilst patting Ark on the head, "Wouldn't want you dying on us or Hitomi" he elbows him in a teasing manner.

"What kind of deal?"
