~Story~
It is the late 6th Century AD. Many years ago, a great leader defeated the Saxxon invaders, unifying the Celtic Lands. This man needs no introduction other than his name: King Arthur Pendragon.

However, in recent years, the King's health has taken a turn for the worse. While the court's healers have yet to decree him to be in mortal peril, the Franks have seen the weakness of the Kingdom of Camelot, & have begun to enact raids on distant outposts.

Between these raids & quests to outlying lands to procure treasures for & slay monsters who threaten the kingdom, Arthur's knights are spread thin. This has led Arthur to decide to search for new recruits.

But will it be enough? Both dissent in the ranks & a foreign enemies have emerged. A group of knights have kidnapped Guinevere, heading to Rome, where Senthose & Seraph, an ex-knight & ex-mage of Arthur's court currently reside. The pair have been scouring foreign lands researching magic beasts with transformative properties. It is believed they intend to create a powerful force capable of bringing down Camelot in a direct assault.

Name: Ari Turmill
Status: Ari is the son of a knight, so he's a noble.
Age: 13
Appearance: He is a short blond kid with light blue eyes and very pale skin. He wears a white cloak over a black t-shirt and black cargo-like shorts. He has a turquoise metal chestplace and shoulderpads over his shirt, which he inherited from his late father. Black boots.
Bio: He lives in a country house surrounded by a few ha of forest that are his family's property. He lives with his mother, his little sister, two maids, and a butler. His parents were from the lower class until his father proved his valor in battle and was accepted into knighthood. A few weeks before Ari's birth, his father, not too well accepted among nobles, died in battle. Though he was sick for most of his childhood, he eventually managed to get better with the help of his mother, who was a skillful wind magician, ability she inherited from her ancestors. Having missed the change to become a page, he kept trying to follow in his father's footsteps and eventually became a squire, at the age of 12. He is now in training at a local academy, waiting to become a knight's apprentice when he turns 14. His mother taught him how to read and write, both of which he loves doing. Usually quiet, he usually seems to be pretty rude towards strangers, refusing to speak unless it is strictly necessary. However, he is in fact quite friendly and innocent. He cares for the staff almost like they're family, after 20 years living with them. He has no friends his age whatsoever, due to his antisocial personality, the fact he lives isolated and the fact other squire kids and nobles still don't respect his family very much because of his parents' old status.
Defense: He can cast minor wind spells (Thanks to his mom's ancestry), but only to levitate light objects and what not, being at such a young age. He carries a blue greatsword on his back, though he's still a rookie at fighting with it.

Name: Kelphy Colsun

Appearance:

Status: Noble. Kelphy is King Arthur's niece, living in the palace with her family.
Age: 17
Bio: She has been studying magic since she was very young, inspired by Merlin and her uncle Arthur's adventures, but only seems to be able to cast water magic for the most part. To compensate for her lack of skill at other types of magic, her water magic can be quite destructive, focusing in highly pressurized water attacks that really put the T in Tsunami. She can also produce sound waves that can be quite prejudicial underwater. Overall, she is very friendly and social, but usually innocent and cautious at the same time. She's also somewhat skilled in fencing, though she reaaally can't use that for fighting actual enemies. She really likes her uncle and yearns for adventure in secret.
Defense: To compensate for her lack of skill at other types of magic, her water magic can be quite destructive, focusing in highly pressurized water attacks that really put the T in Tsunami. Also fencing, to be improved later on. (See picture's swords) Fencing has made her quite agile too.

Decided to stick with these two for now.

Name: Lune Requile

Status: Noble, Son of a major Duke and a member of the French Nobility. Honorary Knight of Camelot.
Race: Human
Age: 17
Bio: Born into a noble household with ties to the Pendragons and thus King Arthur; Lune was raised to be a fine young man but instead he developed a sense of wanderlust at around age 13. Not wanting to restrict his son, the Duke Requile allow his son to travel escorted around Europe. One such excursion took him to Camelot where he became an honorary knight. He returned home soon after but merely a year later the shortage of able bodied men and women in Camelot has brought him back with a small portion of French knights led by his personal bodyguard. He has also honed his fighting skills and is a much more competent swordsman than the last time he and King Arthur spoke.
Defense: While adeptly skilled in the art of fencing and rapier fighting Lune is also quite capable of wielding heavy greatswords as well as broadswords. However his weapon of choice is a simple longsword with a white handle and a fine polished blade.

Name: Sophia Trecenell

Status: Upper Mid-class, Knight in service of the House Requile, Lune's Handler and bodyguard
Race: Human
Age: 20
Bio: Born of an English woman and a French dignitary, her father's status allowed her to enter the world of the nobles where she one day instigated a fight between her and the head of the Duke of Requile's personal guard. She defeated him quite handily and was asked to join the ranks of the Duke's guard. While still inexperienced compared to the rest of the guard she possesses a fighting prowess that far surpasses her age. She was made Lune's bodyguard solely based on the fact that his propensity to travel would allow her to experience things that being stuck in Requile Manor would not normally allow.
Defense: She is gifted with polearms especially the spear and the lance. Her weapon of choice is something of a hybrid of both with a long spear like shaft and a conical lance like head that ends with a sharpened tip. The conical head also has a semi-edgelike facet to it that allows for slashing and stabbing. Due to the normal issues that the head's weight would cause the opposite end of the weapon is counter balanced with a weighted sphere like endcap.

Name: Marcus Hannibal
Appearance: He's blind.

Status: Middle-class, repected weapons and armor shop owner. He also deals in illegal arms to less respected groups.
Race: Human
Age: 19
Bio: Marcus is a young but successful shop owner and arms dealer. He has been blind all his life, but studied and unlocked the secrets of Magic. His Magic allows him to see the world's aura, granting him a very elementary form of vision. He is successful, because he can see when a person's aura changes, letting him know if a deal is going bad or great. His bodyguard, Rayna has been a loyal employee and friend for 2 years, since Marcus opened the Dragon's Bane shop.
Defense: Earth Magic, Marcus has learned to command the very ground around him. Unlike most elemental mages, running a shop has forced him to focus on one descipline for now. He is quite skilled and is currently learning to encase himself in Earth Armor, making him a basically a Golem in combat.


Name: Rayna Bane

Status: Poor non-respected family, hired bodyguard of Marcus and the Dragon's Bane.
Race: Human
Age: 18
Bio: She may not look like much, but Rayna and her twin blades haven't let anybody steal from the Dragon's Bane and get away with it. Blood has even stained them on occasion. She was raised in a poor family, but gained respect and monetary status when she became the well-known and dangerous guard. She loves the fight and sometimes, much to Marcus' dislike, tries to instigate warriors that come in for new weapons or armor. She considers Marcus her one and only friend and would do anything to protect him. Even though he can 'see', she tends to treat Marcus like he's helpless.
Defense: Twin Blades, she uses a graceful but deadly fighting style that exploits the weaknesses of her opponents. If you give her an opening in your attack, it will be fatal.

Name: Duon Valentine

Status: A knight from the lower class who was chosen to become a knight because of his exceptional fighting performance in a tournament.
Race: Human.
Age: 18.
Bio: He was born to two servants of Arthur as parents, and was forced to follow suit at an early age. He learned the ways of the sword by studying the King's own techniques, though, and practiced them. He was a natural swordsman. After discovering his talent, he briefly studied magic before finding out he didn't share the same proficiency with it as he did with swordsmanship. The young man incorporated what little magic he could muster in his fighting, though, and managed to win one of the royal tournaments.
Defense: Proficient in using longswords and broadswords. Though he can't use any magic spells, he can put elemental affinities behind some of his attacks, like infusing his sword with fire. He has more emphasis on direct physical attacks, though. He wields the longsword Celesti for fast attacks, and the broadsword Nebilim for powerful attacks.

==Protagonists==

Name: Thiera Psyche
Appearance: A girl with long, blond hair, blue eyes, & white skin. She's about 5'5" & somewhat scrawny. Most of her body is covered by a white cloak. It has a hood, but she usually keeps it down.
Status: Thiera is a Druid. As such, she has the social status of a noble, but the economic status of a peasant. Her job is to commune with nature for the benefit of other commoners, & she also studies healing.
Race: Human
Age: 17
Bio: The Psyche family was a local fixture long before Arthur came & created his kingdom. Although they chose not to fight on either side, her mother, Binah, agreed to assist Merlin with non-violent magic, such as healing & construction, although Thiera was too young at the time to remember any of this. As such, they are on very good terms. Binah is a very powerful mage, Merlin being her only known superior. Through her mother's working relationship with him, Thiera was able to learn some prophetic powers of her own. Although she mainly studies healing, her dream is to be every bit the powerful magus her mother & mentor are.
Defense: Thiera has little skill with weapons & her only magic is the ability to discourse with the natural landscape. Therefore, she usually relies on agility & wits to shake her foes. However, recently, her divination powers have begun to increase. Not only can she confer with nature spirits from farther away, including mountains & stars, but she's beginning to develop the ability to manipulate the landscape with her mind.

Name: Lilith Psyche
Appearance: A young woman with white skin & green eyes. She has red hair, drawn up into a single braid, save for her bangs, which goes down to about the center of her back. She wears a black travelling cloak. Underneath that, she has a rather shoddy cotton shirt, pants that don't quite go down to her ankles, & battle boots. Also, she's flat as a board. If You Know What I Mean. And I Think That You Do.
Status: Lilith is a noble through marriage
Race: Human
Age: 22
Bio: She was married to the Round Table Knight Maleagant at age 16, but unknown circumstances led to a divorce 2 years later. Lilith wasn't booted from power because she was just too good at leading military & politics. Therefore, Arthur awarded Maleagant's province to her, in spite of the fact that she isn't a Round Table Knight. Malegant is still quite bitter over this. Or at least he was, before he died. She went back to her maiden name after the divorce, but is held in contempt by many other nobles for said divorce & her distinctly un-noble behavior. After Malegant kidnapped Guinevere, she was involved in the attack in which he was killed, leading to some unsavory rumors about her.
Defense: Lilith is an agile fighter, employing 2 main styles: One that seems to be adapted from dance & another that relies on sheer overwhelming force. Because of this, she's capable of holding her sword in either hand or with both. Said sword is an eastern blade, a katana, custom made & imported at her specific requests. The blade is white with a rosey tinge worked in & carvings of flowers touched with silver. It's the prettiest thing you'll ever have lodged in your sternum.

Name: Roatha
Appearance: Red cloak, dishevelled hair, white skin, & plain, loose-fitting cotton clothes.
Status: Roatha was abandoned at a young age, which is why his surname is unknown. As such, he's considered the lowest of the low. He tries to do odd jobs for anyone who will let him, but finds himself mostly stealing to survive.
Race: Human
Age: 16
Bio: Roathat can't remember who his previous parents were, or why they abandoned him, or even when. What he does remember are long years of malnourishment, thievery, & living in the woods. On the day he turned 16, circumstances would find him being arrested under suspicion of involvement with Guinevere's recent abduction. He managed to give the guards the slip, eventually escaping the castle. His current whereabouts are unkown & no one is looking for him.
Defense: The only thing Roatha really has going for him is speed. He never had a weapon of any sort until he literally just picked up a broken pipe while he was running through the castle. He recently acquired a rapier through unknown means.
Other: The red cloak is the only thing that was ever given to him. One day, he fell asleep in a church, & when he woke up, he found it had been draped over him, attached to a note that read only, "To keep the flames of Hell at bay."

==Antagonists==

Name: Senthose Rasheverek
Appearance: White skin, silver shoulder-length hair, red eyes with slitted pupils. Wears black robes.
Status: Outlaw, formerly a noble.
Race: Human
Age: 25
Bio: When Senthose was a Round Table Knight, he was known for being exceptionally skilled in both magic & a whirling two-sword style. He hasn't been seen using magic since he left the knighthood under unknown circumstances. It's unknown what he has been doing in the meantime, but it's rumored that he has a hand in all kinds of subversive anti-government plots, & that's the brightest of the rumors surrounding him.
Defense: Ambidextrous, master swordsman, master tactician, great speed & agility. Said to have much more brute strength since his defection.
Other: Not really.

Name: Seraph
Appearance: An elderly man who wears blue robes & a straw hat.
Status: Outlaw, formerly a peasant.
Race: Human
Age: 89
Bio: Like Roatha, Seraph was also abandoned as a child. However, due to his great magical talent, he found favor with a certain group trying to control the region. According to the records, Seraph was a minor apprentice to Merlin, who never really accomplished anything. Seraph, however, paints a different account. According to him, he participated in the original war that formed Camelot, playing an active role. Also, he claims, Merlin has stolen a lot of his magical conjurations, in addition to the glory that he deserves. After angrily proclaiming this to the Table, he cast aside his Knighthood a long time ago. According to most accounts, he's been living in the wilderness since, steadily losing his grip on reality & becoming more violent, burning down villages & attacking travelers without mercy. He & Senthose have teamed up, but it is unknown what they are planning.
Defense: Seraph is skilled in many mystical arts. Some scholars believe his magic only becomes more powerful as his sanity wanes. The only weapon he carries is a staff, which he uses to brutally beat those he catches off-guard. He is also abnormally fast & agile, for his age.
Other: Not really.
