Kelphy: <(Sir, what is he doing?)>

*She points at Duon, widening her eyes*

Lancelot<Don't worry...this could work to our advantage.>

Guard<You're wearing armor from Camelot. We can see it. You aren't very good at this.>

*Guinevere breaks free from the guards' grip, running to the edge of the gallows.*

Guinevere<Run! It's a trap! The real enemy is-->

*One of the guards catches up to her & punches her in the back of the head, apparently knocking her unconscious. Behind the bushes, Lancelot tenses, grabbing his spear, but does not leave his hiding spot.*

*Mordred shakes his head, drawing his sword.*

Mordred<You are all...so very ignorant. But if you will defend this regime with your lives, I will simply have to take them.>

T"Please, think about what you're doing. If not for your father's sake, then--"

*Thiera starts to step forward, but Lilith pushes her back & charges at Mordred. Mordred grins as the ground they're standing on shoots up, forming a sheer cliff. The ground he's on shoots up even further. As the Franks pass by them below, he holds up a hand, causing the river to swell behind him.*

L"Shit! Does anyone have a plan?"

Lune also tenses up and he almost moves but Sophia stops him.

*Ari draws his sword and stares at Thiera*

Kelphy: <(I don't mean to be disrespectful, but shouldn't we aid them?>

"Beat the shit out of them!" Rayna draws her dual blades and runs to do battle.

"This is a rare occasion that I must agree." Marcus steps forwards and holds his hand out. His body began to glow an earthy green as the large earth wall in front of them started to tremble and lower a little.

"I'll bring him back down to our level."

"And I'll beat the shit out of him."

"Go for it, Rayna."

*Mordred abandons gathering the water & jumps down onto the platform with them. The wall he had jumped off of falls over behind him.*

Mordred<You should think about what you're doing. Is it wise to defy the man who has Arthur, Claudas, & Lucius dancing in the palm of his hands?>

L"Camelot, the Franks, & Rome...so you were behind everything? For the past few months?"

Mordred<From the very beginning! Malegant, Senthose, Seraph, Fafnir...every one of them & more is a witting pawn!>

T"Why would you do all of this?"

Mordred<Don't you pay attention, little girl? I am the rightful King of Camelot!>

Lancelot<(He can lure some of the guards away. Everyone else will be most distracted when they drop the rope. When that happens, I'll cut it. Kelphy, you use your magic to get as many people as you can safely off the hill.)>

*Lancelot waves his hand at Duon, pointing at him & then towards the road to the city.*

Sophia and Lune wait for their orders.

"Being ambitious doesn't give you the right to lead." Marcus held out his hand to halt Rayna's charge. A frown came upon her face.

"Aw, let me beat him up!" Marcus simply shook his head and watched Mordred carefully.

Kelphy: <My magic, right!>

*She stares at Duon*

Duon: <So, Romans, do you think you could tell a wayward knight why you might be tarrrying about here?>

*Duon gives the thumbs up discreetly to the others.*

Guard<Hey. Let's kill that guy.>

*Two spear-armed phalanx warriors chase after him as the guards up on the gallows pick up Guinevere's unconscious body & put the noose around her neck.*

Mordred<Arthur was past his prime even before he drank from the Fountain of Youth. It's time for a new King! And he should be the greatest warrior in all the land, not one of my pathetic milksop brothers. Enough talk. I have places to be.>

*Before anyone knows what happened, he's behind Rayna. Unsurprisingly, he stabs her in the back.*

*Duon draws the Celesti and parries one of the spears, then pushes its wielder into the other person.*

Duon: <Now that's not the way to treat a knight!>

"Ahhh!" Rayna falls to her knees, only able to stay propped up with her swords. The blood from the wound is already beginning to trickle out. Marcus quickly scrambles over to.

"Rayna, hang on, you're gonna be fine." She smirked at his comment.

"Of course I will. Still hurts like hell."

Mordred<Don't be foolish. The girl will not survive a few hours without treatment. Which brings me to another matter.>

*He turns to Thiera, Lilith jumping in front of him.*

L"You just made your last mistake!"

*As she swings at him, he catches her wrist. She also catches his wrist when he attempts a counterattack, but he easily pushes her to the ground.*

L"Damn...you...."

Lancelot<He's making a mess of the entire plan. Damn it. Just help him with the guards.>

*Lancelot hurls the spear, severing the rope. As he leaps out from behind the bush, it suddenly reverses direction, flying back into his hand. He twists the shaft & the blade modifies itself into a curved shape, another such blade exiting from the bottom. The pair of Ex Round Table Knights approaches him as the crowd disperses.*

Lancelot<I don't want to fight you-->

Knight<Aww, ain't that a shame.>

*He stops talking as he barely deflects a stab from Lancelot's spear.*

Lancelot<Let me finish. I don't want to fight you cowards unless I can do away with the lot of you at once. Go run home to Senthose & Seraph. I'll find your little hideaway & continue this there.>

OOC: I can't be assed to find their names right now. They're somewhere in the old GA.

Kelphy: [How am I supposed to help them with water..?]

*She runs into the scene and holds her right hand out, shooting a jet of highly pressurized water at the nearest guard*

Kelphy: <Your Highness, can you hear me? Aunt!>

*Ari runs forward and slashes at Mordred*

*Marcus takes the opportunity and forces a large boulder of Earth to rise from the ground and chucks it at Mordred.*

*Duon begins slashing guards as he's on a crash course towards the Queen.*

Duon: <My apologies for my coyness, Sir Lancelot! I was merely playing with these toys people call Romans.>

Lune and Sophia stroll out on to the scene knocking guards out on the way in a nonchalant fashion.

OOC: Because I have writer's block.

*Neither Ari nor the boulder seem to hurt him much, but it gives Lilith enough momentum to hurl him towards the edge of the platform.*

L"Now fuck him up!"

*Thiera runs towards Reyna, taking off whatever armor she has on to look at the wound.*

*One knight slashes at Lancelot who parries his attack. The other moves around behind him, but Lancelot seperates the spears into 2. Catching him offguard, he stabs the knight in the neck, killing him instantly. 2 groups of 4 Phalanx Warriors bar the steps to the gallows, linking their shields together & pointing their spears outwards.*

*Marcus notices the new presence near him.*

"Is she going to be all right?"

*He stands up, spreads his arms out and slowly raises them up. As he does this, two large boulders of Earth on either side of him raise and float in mid-air. Marcus forcefully pushes his arms infront of him and the boulders soar through the air towards Mordred.*

*Ari runs forward and leaps upward, jabbing at his face*

Kelphy: <(I must say this strongly resembles playing domino.)>

*She holds her hands out and fires a jet of water at one of the shields*

"You got it handled over there Lancelot?" Lune asks as they prepare to charge the guards.

*The guards are knocked over, but barely phased.*

Lancelot<Leave this to me. Just find the 2 that started this all. They're probably about the palace.>

*He rejoins the spears, sweeping the knight's legs out from under him & poising the point over his chest.*

Lancelot<It's over.>

"It's a deep incision to the back & intestines, going almost the whole way through her. We're lucky he went for the kill. We can probably save her from a mortal wound, but if he severed her spine, she would have been paralyzed."

*Mordred is finally knocked off of the cliff. When the dust clears below, he's nowhere to be seen.*

"Can you do it here? Or do we need to escort her out? I'll protect her with my life, either way."

*Marcus notices he can no longer 'see' Mordred.*

"Where is he?"

"Consider it done, Duon, Kelphy, Sophia... you heard Lancelot, we're going after the bastards who started this!" he charges and with a swift hilt to the face, takes out one of the guards while Sophia sweeps a few more of their feet.
