R"Absolutely not."

E"Like he's one to talk. Anyway, I really don't want to hang out around Thiera's vacation house anyway. I feel like she's staring at me, but every time I look back, she looks away before I can see."

Ren is writhing on the ground in pain.

Taiyo:<But... but... Mermaid.>

*Azuma finds Mimiru sitting on a blanket under an umbrella.*

"Where'd the blanket and umbrella come from?"

Mimiru:<Some jerk. I'm sure they won't notice they're gone. Ooo, you got me cookie dough.>

"Kinda hard to forget when you belittle every other flavor."

*He hands her the ice cream cone and sits down*

Mimiru:<Because cookie dough should be the only flavor.>

Allina: <Try and turn around permanently. Your Russian twins won't let her look away.>

*She walks off, dragging Roatha*

*Nero & Euryale join Allina & Roatha in leaving the resort.*

N"So. We know that Thiera & Koshkey are enemies. So there are at least 2 groups. But they're both part of the same society."

R"Eh?"

N"The British Historical Society. They've had a hand in most of the things that have been happening. I get the impression that there's something more to them."

R"You know, in my time, some of the Round Table Knights were working towards a coup d'etat. Senthose, Seraph, Malegant, Mordred...."

N"So you think they might be trying to use the magic they recover to conqueor Europe?"

R"I suppose it's possible."

Ren gets up some time later and leaves.

Taiyo:<Euryaaaale!>

*Taiyo chases after her.*

Mimiru:<Looks like they're leaving.>

"That's nice."

Allina: <Round Table Knights?>

N"The Knights of the Round Table? Like in Camelot? King Arthur? Don't you know anything?"

R"So...have you met any?"

N"What?"

R"Have you met any of the Knights? Like Gallahad, or Lancelot, or...or Senthose or Mordred...."

*His tone darkens at those last 2 names.*

N"No. Wouldn't they have died ages ago?"

R"I honestly don't know."

*The gate swings open in front of them. Back on the beach, storm clouds start to come in. The bar & ice cream stand start to close up. Thiera gets up & walks over to Azuma & Mimiru.*

Thiera<There's a storm coming. You can't stay on my property. It's too much of a liability, if something were to happen.>

*Taiyo returns to holding on to Euryale's arm.*

Taiyo:<Unwashed Weirdo is still alive, isn't he?>

"Since when did you start caring about the safety of others?"

Mimiru:<Sounds more like she doesn't want to get sued.>

Somewhere nearby a blond boy is watching. He looks to be in his early to mid teens and has an eyepatch over his left eye. The eyepatch has a strange coat of arms on it. He's wearing a white button shirt, open, over a black no sleeve shirt. His pants are black and he has black gym shoes on.

They haven't noticed him yet but he sees them and he sees Roatha and smiles before walking away.

Allina: <It's not that, it's just hard to get used to this whole magic thing.>

N"That's true...maybe we should start looking for these guys. King Arthur's legend says he'll return when the people need him, you know."

R"Everyone else seems to have adjusted quite well."

<However, I am NOT liable for any force I or my guards might need to use in order to escort you from the premises..>

*Mimiru finishes what's left of her ice cream.*

Mimiru:<Has anyone told you how intimidating you're not?>

*Like lightning, her hand darts out, grabbing Mimiru's ice cream hand by the wrist, twisting it painfully & pulling her arm behind her back. With the same hand, she grabs the scruff of the girl's neck & begins forcing her towards the exit.*

<March.>

Mimiru:<How about you let me stand up first?>

*Azuma stands up.*

Ren has left the premises and looks up at the sky, "I got a bad feeling about this" he sticks his hands in his pocket and walks down the street.

At an abandoned building Isaac is training to gain control of the magic that has started to awaken in him even though he's afraid of both the power he has and of what his life will be like now that he can't show his face in public.

Somewhere close by Allina's house the blond boy from before waits hidden to see how the events will unfold around Roatha.

*A man with long, ratty & frayed black hair in a trench coat stands in the center of a room. A spotlight shines down on him, so that he can't see the distant figure or figuress who speak to him.*

Man<A British spy?>

???<Yes. You are also authorized to eliminate anyone who interferes in your mission, be it man, woman, or child.>

Man<And the woman?>

???<These secret projects of hers have gone far enough. We can abide by the loss of the sample if he is a casualty in a mission we've assigned, but refusing to hand him over is an act of treason. She forgets her place! We made her, we can just as easily ruin her. That one...you make certain we take alive.>

Man<Understood.>

~Friday~

*It's the end of some crappy book signing in Sydney. Roatha has started classes with Euryale. The school lets out, & he & Euryale walk down the hall.*

E"Why are those 2 holding hands?"

R"Dunno. It must be a local custom."

E"You might be right...Taiyo does that sort of thing to me a lot. Do you think we should follow suit?"

R"Hmm...better to be safe than sorry."

*She grabs his hand & Roatha flips off the general direction of Taiyo's class.*

*Taiyo is in class with Nero when the bell rings.*

*Taiyo stares out the door growling as they pass by.*

Taiyo:<I'm going to rip his head off!>

*She storms out of the classroom passing Azuma who's standing outside. Mimiru walks out.*

"What was that about?"

Mimiru:<I don't know.>

"Should we find out?"

Mimiru:<I'd rather not. She was... growling.>

"Yeah, let's not find out. That's a little weird."

Ren is sitting on the roof of the school watching the clouds with the mysterious blond boy from before only this time his eye-patch has the Tudor rose on it.

Ren sighs and gets up, dusting himself off. "Alright then, lets do this thing." He takes up a fighting stance.

The blond boy smiles, "Be careful, I'm fragile" before he took takes up a fighting stance.

"I'm more worried about you breaking me. You said this power won't trigger unless I'm in critical danger..."

"Theoretically" he adds.

"...theoretically..."

The two then begin to fight trading savage blows on the roof.

Ren blocks a high kick, "What do you intend to do if my power goes wild like I said Isaac's did."

Lune brought his leg back and weaved in with a straight punch to the gut, "I'll worry about that if it happens You focus on tapping into that power."

Ren coughed and stumbled back then spat on the rooftop. "Why are you helping me anyway?"

"Because a friend of Roatha is a friend of mine." He moves in again and took out Ren's legs with a sweep.

Ren stumbled again before regaining his balance. "Then go talk to him yourself" Ren went for a hard palm but his palm connected only with an elbow block.

"He's having too much fun for me to rain on his parade. Seeing old faces might hamper his fun so I'm content to watch him from the shadows" he knocked Ren's hand away and seemingly lost interest in the fight.

That pissed Ren off who rushed him. Lune swung his arm down and Ren felt a hot pain lance through his chest as his body was slammed with a razor sharp force leaving deep lacerations all over his body. He flew back off the roof of the school and into the outdoor swimming pool that the school used for the swim team. Somehow Ren survived and was quickly rushed to the hospital shortly after.

Lune vanished long before the scene could be investigated.

*A cop stops Azuma & Mimiru in the hallway.*

<Kids. Don't be alarmed, now, but we've got a sword-wielding maniac on the loose. I'm gonna have to ask you to come down to the station for a few questions.>

*Nero ducks back into the classroom he was coming out of, unzipping his backpack & peering in. He notes the gladius & zips it back up, sighing. On the TV, a reporter is reviewing an Australian genetics lab.*

R"What does?"

E"Everyone you used to know being long dead."

R"Not really. I hated my time. My parents were dead before I could really know them, I didn't have any friends in Camelot, I had to steal food to survive, & somehow, I STILL got suckered into saving that rat-infested shithole. Then it STILL went down, despite all of our efforts. I much prefer this time. I have basic hygiene here. I also have you."

E"I see...I don't mind this time much. There's just one thing."

R"What's that?"

E"My little sister's missing. She was one of the gorgons, so she should still be alive."

R"...I'll find her."

[How the Hell do I plan on doing that? Using my dick & its need to prove itself to this woman like a divining rod?]

OOC: The set up was too perfect to let it pass.

"I don't know Roatha. Camelot was a pretty tight place" Lune was sitting on an open windowsill that they could have sworn the two just passed by. There was a slight rush of wind that proceeded his appearance there. "We made some really great friends back then. Ari, Theira the first... Kelphy" he says the last name with a hint of bitterness though its hard to detect. He hops off the sill and walks up to them. "So... Roatha.... have you had your first cheeseburger yet? My treat man."

"Umm... no?"

Taiyo:<Unwashed Weirdo, I'm gonna tear your head off!>

*Taiyo jumps at Roatha looking like she's going to claw his eyes out.*

<Son, don't make me have to use force.>

*Nero's still hiding in the classroom.*

E"Taiyo, watch where you're going. You almost hurt Roatha."
