The Palace of St. Bevelle

"Did you forget what happened at the last temple?"

*A blizzard seems to come out of nowhere & blow Ark into the temple, so that he stumbles down the staircase. Luna runs after him.*

<Whelp. No accounting for weather, is there? Just an Act of God, no one's fault.>

*Hitomi lets out a slight giggle before entering the temple.*

*Ark doesn't bother getting up and drags himself over to a pillar, leaning against it and closing his eyes.*

Ark: <It's warmer in here, that's fo' sure.>

Zephyr sighs, "At least thats true."

Zeno: <C'mon, c'mon, let's just get this over with. The less time I have to spend here, the better...>

"What, don't like the cold?"

*The party is working their way along a few paths above the frozen water. When they get closer to the Chamber of the Fayth, they see an additional pair of priests examining some glyphs on the wall.*

OOC: This temple has the most retarded sphere puzzle.

Ark: <Old farts in dresses. Who would've guessed?>

"Try not to say something rude Ark?"

*Hitomi pulls her hood down and exhales has if she had been holding her breath for awhile and looks around.*

[It's... pretty.]

*Zeno follows close behind the others and scowls at some of the priests.*

Zeno: <My old man took me here at least once a year to "pay my respects" to my Guado elders. I didn't like it one bit.>

"Why not?"

*A glyph shines & the wall moves aside. The priests enter the passageway at a brisk walk.*

Zephyr is following.

*Hitomi is standing about staring at her surroundings.*

Ark: <Will we have any time to play with the snow? That'd be awesome.>

"I guess maybe we could, before we have to go to Bevelle."

*While they're being generally retarded, screams issue from the corridor, before this monstrosity emerges.*

Zephyr is the first one to move in for an attack aiming a Power Break strike at the creature.

Ark: <That's ... not an old man with a gun!>

*He runs forward and jumps onto the monster's left pincer, slashing at the arm before hastily jumping back down.*

*Hitomi joins the rest remaining behind the group and casts Fire on its head.*

*Zeno jumps back a bit and proceeds to attack the claws.*

*It just kinda bats Ark away like an annoying fly with its right claw. It then shifts its left claw, which takes the Power Break from Zephyr. Its head jerks at the flames, then starts chittering. It start towards Luna.*

*Zeno keeps shooting up the claws to open up a path to the main body.*

*Ark lands on all four and dashes back towards it, slashing across its abdomen*

Zephyr sidesteps out of the way of a possible counter attack using the sidestep to aim another power break at its other claw.

*Since it's already scuttled away by this point, I have no idea what Zephyr is doing. One of its claws detaches from its body, the other one taking Ark's attack with barely a scratch. Luna dodges a swipe from the monster, slashing at the remaining claw. Its head starts to chitter faster.*
