Ark: <I guess. Can we go find a shop?>

"I'm sure there's one in the city...& maybe some sightseeing would be good. Yeah. Okay, then. We'll meet back at the Bevelle end of the High Bridge in 1 hour to continue on the pilgrimage."

*She turns to Senthose.*

"Do you think you can wait until I have Bahamut to speak with the Maesters?"

<Sure, no problem.>

*Overhearing their conversation, a man agrees to give them a free boat ride along the highbridge, since Luna is a summoner. Soon they disembark next to the palace. Senthose spots an old man in green robes & walks over to him.*

???<Ah, Senthose. I imagined you'd try to find me. But it's like I told you: The only thing I know about Bevelle's founding is that it is named for Saint Bevelle, a man who lived hundreds of years before the Machina War began. I'm old & well-read, but I'm not omniscient!>

*Ark wanders off in search of a shop.*

*Hitomi just wanders off.*

Zephyr stays with Luna.

*Ark finds the shop, but it's being attended by a bald, elderly Yevon priest.*

Zephyr stays with her silently acting as a bodyguard.

*Hitomi continues wandering about the city.*

Ark: <God dammit, they're everywhere.>

*He narrows his eyes and walks up to the counter, staring down.*

Ark: <Hey, I'd like to buy Thundara, Dark Attack, Darkness and Full Break, please.>

*The clerk stares at him like he has 2 heads.*

*Luna stops to watch a bunch of kites. Then the color drains out of her face when a long, serpent-like dragon flies past, destroying the kites.*

"No... no it wasn't. Do you want to handle it with me or should we get the others?"

*Hitomi looks up at the shadow.*

Ark: <Honestly, I do, but I don't have much to choose from. You need more Thief skills. What happened to good old Pickpocket, Copycat, and stuff like that?>

<Instead of spending copious amounts of Gil on useless stuff, you can wait until we get those in stock.>

Ark: <(Stinky priests.)>

*He walks out and goes to find an inn.*

*Hitomi continues wandering around aimlessly.*

"Oh..." Zephyr scratches his head.

"It's a dragon that protects Bevelle & its clergy from invasions. But I don't get it...there's no way that thing's strong enough to fight off Sin. So why does it never come here?"

*He reaches an inn which, again, is run by a Yevon priest. This time, a young female with short, blond hair.*

*He leans over the counter and widens his eyes, staring in hers.*

Ark: <And what if I do mind? Are ya gonna... (spank me?)>

*She turns red in the face, widening her eyes, then glaring.*

<SECURITY!>

*3 rifle-armed warrior monks burst into the inn.*
