The Palace of St. Bevelle

Zephyr maneuvers behind the gui and slashes at its back with a flesh rending blow.

*Zeno's still shooting at the other claw from a safe distance.*

*Luna stabs the claw as well & it finally breaks. Sinspawn Gui aims a kick at Zephyr, spurt of blood bursting out where the blade had hit. Its head chitters even more rapidly than ever.*

Zeno: <Damn, out of spellshot...>

*He runs up to the body of the Sinspawn and begins a slow stabbing with the bayonet on his gun.*

Zephyr is kicked back fairly far.

*Hitomi casts fire on its head again.*

*Gui strides over to Hitomi, pushing everyone out of the way, & drizzles a thick rain of green acid out of its head at her. Luna takes advantage of this to stab it in the back & jerk the spear along its spine.*

*Hitomi spins around and runs away from the Sinspawn, casting a Fire at its head in the process.*

Zephyr returns to his feet and runs at the Gui attack its back when he gets close enough.

*Gui's head jerks. There's not much it can do besides flinch whenever Zephyr & Luna attack it again. However, tendrils begin to emerge from its arm wounds, wrapping themselves into muscle. Hitomi manages to avoid the worst of the attack, but still ends up with burns over her lower back & legs. She can feel that she's just barely able to produce any magic at all.*

"It's regenerating its arms!"

*Hitomi grunts in pain and bites her lip, casting cure on herself.*

"Need finish this fast then" a armor break is aimed at the Gui's back.

*Zeno takes aim and does what every gunner knows how to do best- goes for the headshot.*

*Ark runs around the Gui and double slashes at its back just as soon as Zephyr completes his attack. During the second slash his sword glows red as he drains the life out of the Sinspawn.*

*The head drops & turns gray. The Sinspawn scuttles out towards the icy path they just came from, Pyreflies heading for the newly created sinew.*

*Hitomi casts Fire on the Sinspawn's body.*

Zephyr follows it, "Don't let it get away!"

*Ark sarts towards it and rams his dagger into its back.*

*Ark is unable to accomplish this feat, as when it reaches the path, it turns around, the path being too narrow to get behind it. It takes the stab in its "shoulder" & counters with its own attack just as the arms fully regenerate. While the arms are full health, the head shows no signs of recovery, & the body is dragging half of its legs as though they're numb. Luna casts Slowga on Gui, which hits the left arm & the body.*

"Do you think I should summon?"

OOC: 2 arms. 1 head.

*Hitomi uses Osmose on Gui's body.*

*Ark casts Haste on himself and runs back towards the Gui, continuously slashing at its left arm.*

"Yes, but give Ifrit a rest. If Valefor is back to full strength you should use her" Zephyr tells Luna.

*Hitomi manages to steal some of its MP, but it punches Ark into a wall, critically wounding him.*

"Hmm...good idea. There's no way he'd manage to hit Valefor!"

*She goes through the summoning dance, but nothing happens.*

"Oh...I guess it'll take him some time to get through the temple passageways...."

OOC: 2 arms. 1 head.

*Hitomi reluctantly casts Cure on Ark.*

*He smiles, getting up.*

Ark: <...Thanks. I never manage to land a hit on that thing! Magic seems to hurt it a lot more.>

*He points his dagger at Hitomi, casting Haste on her.*
