*He laughs and dashes outside, running into Hitomi.*

*Hitomi stares as Ark's dumb ass is hauled off to get a human booster shot from a guy named Molly. She wanders off looking for a shop.*

"You don't sound sure anymore... of anything..."

*Zeno's training on monsters in the Macalania Woods. He's currently fighting a Chimera.*

*The Chimera blasts Aqua Breath at him out of its eagle head.*

*Hitomi finds a shop headed by an elderly, bald Yevon priest.*

*Ark is dragged into a dark hallway at the base of the palace & thrown into a holding cell. It's a small room like a glorified closet with nothing in it.*

<If no one comes to post bail within 12 hours, we'll move you to something a little more...permanent until the trial.>

Ark: <Implying I'll be here next time you come to visit.>

*Hitomi stares at the ability spheres.*

"Look... I don't want you to die..." Zephyr casts his glance to the ground and aside.

*Luna laughs a bit.*

"EVERYONE dies. Did you forget that, too?"

*He fingers the tufts of white hair on the side of his head, looking forlorn.*

*Hitomi stares at the priest looking more confused than usual.*

"...Thank you?"

"They do, but it seems like a waste when your death wont mean anything..."

"Evidently, you think killing Sin is less meaningful than collapsing in your house at 90 & being eaten by your 6 cats. We should go, the hour's almost up."

*She stands up & heads back towards the palace entrance.*

*On the clock behind the shop, Hitomi can see that the hour is almost up.*

<You're very welcome, young lady.>

*Hitomi leaves because aside from the hour being up, the priest running the shop is creepy and would probably try to lure her into the back room.*

"If your death actually killed the thing then it would be, but, you said it yourself, your death won't kill Sin forever. Its just another life wasted in the foolish pursuit of a quick fix. Nothing more than a bandaid to deep wound" Zephyr doesn't follow her this time. "If you still intend to foolish leap to your own demise I can't follow you anymore. I'm not going to watch you martyr yourself. If you want to find a permanent answer I will remain at your side... let me know what you decide" he walks away from her.

*Luna & Zephyr bump into each other. Senthose turns, & Maechan takes this opportunity to shuffle down a back alley.*

"So I guess Zephyr's not coming. And we can pick up Zeno later. Where's Ark?"

"He was arrested."

Zephyr continues to walk away.

Ark: <This isn't too bad. It needs better furniture though.>

*He stares at one of the walls.*

Ark: <The sexy posters can go there. This reminds me, we left knucklehead plus gun somewhere again.>

"What?! How? What happened?"

"He probably did or said something stupid."

*Zeno rolls to the side to dodge, then gets up on one knee and quickly fires at the Chimera.*

Zeno: <That's right, teach me your techs.>

*Mostly for my convenience, the chimera dies.*
