~Ark obtains Al Bhed Potion!~

*The dog falls back, yelping. Yojimbo hurls all of his knives into Ark, now that he's come into point-blank range. Luna stabs Daigoro from behind.*

*Ark's showered with knives, and, after falling to his knees, uses what little life he has left in him to drink the potion he just stole.*

Ingrid shoots out another fire spell from behind her cover at Yojimbo.

*Another spike bursts from the ground, this time under Diagoro.*

*The entire team feels rejuvinated. Daigoro dissolves into pyreflies, whimpering, as Yojimbo turns onto Hitomi & Luna, drawing his sword.*

Ingrid sends another volley of fire spells at Yojimbo.

*Ark takes this chance to dash forward, stabbing at Yokimbo's back while stealing from it.*

*A bubble forms above Yojimbo and pops showering it with water.*

*Yojimbo slashes, sending a gust of razor sharp wind tearing through Luna & Hitomi. Luna drops dead, Hitomi is in critical condition. Yojimbo starts to stoop slightly.*

~Ingrid is out of MP!~

*Hitomi casts Life on Luna followed by Drain on Yojimbo.*

Ingrid is out of MP, but luckily chock full of HP. "Well shit, guess I'm going to have to do this the old fashion way since I already used my ether." Ingrid steps out of her cover just in time to see Luna get taken down and Hitomi too. "Yea, fuck that. This is a samurai Aeon, I've got no chance hitting this thing." Ingrid ducked behind cover and peeked out casting Osmose.

*Ark casts Haste on Hitomi and slashes at Yojimbo.*

Ingrid casts another fire spell, then another osmose.

*Yojimbo throws its sword on the ground & makes a hand sign. A portal appears on the ground, a bigger, more ornate katana flying out of it. He grabs it, unsheathes it, & grabs Ark by the scruff of his neck, throwing him towards Hitomi. Finally, he charges, drawing his blade & cutting towards them.*

Ingrid saw Yojimbo's attack and flushed with fright, "That has to be the Zanmato attack that Belgemine was talking about, if so she is going to end them!" Ingrid shot off another fire spell, trying to buy time for the two others to get the hell out of the way.

*Being unable to both prevent Ark from barreling into her and avoid Yojimbo's attack, Hitomi throws herself against the wall to get out of its path. A lightning bolt crashes down on Yojimbo.*

*Ark attemps to roll aside as soon as he hits the wall.*

*The sword slices them both. A starry, purplish rip in space-time forms where the sword strikes & everything goes black for Hitomi & Ark. When they regain consciousness, they're floating disembodied near Luna.*

"Hey. Yojimbo dissolved into Pyreflies a few seconds ago."

*She gestures towards the spider-like Fiend, who's now scuttling backwards away from Ingrid.*

<I think we can work something out. They were traitors, anyway. I wasn't lying about that. Honest, I swear!>

Ingrid is horrified to see the others all cut down, luckily Yojimbo seemed to be taken out by the last volley of attacks. She hears something behind her and turns to see a spider-like fiend, quickly back peddling away from her. "Wasn't lying?" She said a bit confused, "Wait, that means... YOU!" Ingrid started to walk towards it, "You're the cause of all of this, and you think we can work something out?" Ingrid stopped, "The only thing I want is you dead." She said, casting osmose, then fire.

*She feels her own MP sapped before she's hit by fire.*

<Heehee...wrong choice!>

*It puts 2 of its claws together & starts firing a barrage of needles at her.*

Ingrid gives a look of shock and dodge rolls out of the way. Low on MP Ingrid had to make her attacks count, and since attacking the fiend directly was a no go she had to get creative. "Oh yea, that should work!" She called out, having a bit of an epiphany. Quickly Ingrid cast Reflect on herself, then attacked herself with another fire spell, reflecting it off of her and towards the fiend.

*The spider curls up, consumed in flames, before finally evaporating into Pyreflies. One of Luna's Phoenix Downs also burst into flame, reviving her.*

"Well, that's over. Still...I wonder why it did all of this?"

Luna: 2500 Gil
Hitomi: 2200 Gil
Ark: 2500 Gil
Ingrid: 2700 Gil

Ingrid smiles, "Ha, bet it didn't see that coming- oh sweet, gil!" Look back at Luna she replies, "Well, I'm not to sure. It was weird enough hearing a fiend talk, let alone possess a fayth, and the things it knew about you guys was kind of weird too." Ingrid looks down the corridor that led to the fayth, "Anyway, you want to finish up here, or what, because I really don't like this place anymore."

"Yeah, I probably should...."

*Luna enters the Chamber of the Fayth & comes out again a minute or so later.*

"Okay! Now Spira is our oyster."

"Tell me, are we to shuck it like one?" Ingrid asked with a bit of a smile playing on her lips. "Well, where to now?"
