"It's probably more important to head to Baaj. We should go if we can get a boat."

"Out on the open sea, with a... whatever you are, just waiting for Sin to come and mob us." Ingrid said with a sigh, "Sounds like fun, we should see if we can get a ride on the nearest ferry."

"Oh...right...I forgot about that...."

*She hangs her head.*

Ingrid blushed a bit, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad." She said, "I'm, uh, sure we can get to Baaj without too much trouble."

Ark: <Hum. I guess Sin complicates things a little, but it's not like there's much we can do about that. Maybe if we're fast enough...>

"I don't think we should go to Baaj anymore. It's too dangerous, unless we can somehow know where Sin is. We last saw him at Djose Temple, but that was weeks ago. He could be anywhere."

"I'm guessing the connection doesn't work both ways huh?" Ingrid asked, still feeling a bit embarrassed, "Sin can sense you, but you can't sense it."

[It bothers me she has no problems openly discussing that.]

*Hitomi looks from her book to Ingrid, glaring at her.*

Ingrid catches sight of Hitomi's glare and shrinks a bit, "Is something wrong?" She asked, though she didn't really expect an answer from the quiet girl.

Ark: <If going to the Calm Lands means we can go to Mt.Gagazet, I'm ready to go. Snooow.>

*Ark speaks while repeatedly looking from Ingrid to Hitomi.*

"Yes."

"I'm sorry to hear that, is there anything I can do to help?"

"Yes. Go away."

*Ark chuckles but pokes Hitomi's shoulder with his finger.*

Ark: <Be nice, eh?>

Ingrid felt kind of bad about what Hitomi said and looked at Luna, "Listen, I don't want to cause any trouble, I'll be more than happy to go out on my own if you don't want me here."

*Ark widens his eyes for a second, then shrugs.*

Ark: <Just don't stab yourself.>

"No, it's fine. I'm not bothered by it...really. So...I guess we're going to the Calm Lands, then?"

*Ark shrugs.*

Ark: <I guess.>

Ingrid sighed, feeling entirely unwelcome. "Uh, sure, whatever you say..."

*They land back in the Central Calm Lands & disembark. The Al Bhed woman waves at them.*

<Hey! Looking for a map sphere?>

"A what?"

<Map Sphere. You buy one for a location & it's automatically updated whenever a new point of interest comes up. They're useful for tourists.>

*She shrugs.*

<Or Summoners, I guess. Just buy one. They're only 500 Gil.>

*Ark waves back after disembarking.*

Ark: <Hey.>

*He walks up to the counter to check the items in stock out.*

Ingrid follows behind quietly.

*Luna stares at the stock wearily.*

"I don't know...it might be worth it...but I feel like I'm always broke...."

Ark: <This is boring, can we go and find the old temple yet?>

Ingrid looked off across the plain, a bit disinterested, and disenfranchised. When she heard Luna, she spoke up, "I have 150 gil, if that helps at all." She said.
