Heathen Frolic

Ingrid casts protect on herself, then casts reflect on herself.

*Belias weathers the attack & follows through with his own, punching Ixion in the face. Luna reluctantly leaves Ark's side, drawing her spear & running towards Hitomi.*

*Hitomi casts Protect on Ixion who slashes at Belias with its horn.*

*Ark staggers to his feet and copycats Hitomi's spell to cast Protect on Luna, then also casts Haste on her, still groaning in pain.*

*Belias grabs the horn & kicks Ixion in the side. He is then pulled away from Ixion as Luna twirls her spear in the air. He's slashed repeatedly before being hurled face-first into the mountain side.*

*Hitomi casts Shell on Ixion who casts Haste on itself and charges Belias with intent to run him through.*

Ingrid casts scan on Belias, while at the same time backing away from the rampaging Ronso to a more defensible position.

Belias Ronso. A Ronso warrior who's acquired many Ronso Rages. He knows all elemental black magic &....

*The scan flickers & then becomes static. Unlike the earlier static, it's red. After getting stabbed, Belias casts another Waterga, which kills the Aeon even through the shell. He turns around & inhales deeply.*

*Hitomi casts Blizzara. A large ice spike bursts from the ground angled so it's stabbing towards Belias's stomach.*

Why the hell does this spell always fuck up?! Ingrid thought bitterly, casting Death, then Fira in case the first spell failed.

*Ark dashes towards Belias and slashes at him while swinging his free hand at his pockets for Gil.*

*Belias staggers from the hits, then spits a giant seed out at Hitomi. Bahamut slams down behind Ingrid.*

~Ark has obtained a Gold Needle!~

*Hitomi ducks and casts Thundara on Belias. An large lightning bolt crashes down from the sky.*

Ingrid feels the ground shake behind her and turns to see Bahamut there. "Wow... majestic..." Ingrid said, backing away slowly. "Now... please say that damn Ronso didn't summon you." She said, casting scan again.

Stop that.

*Bahamut slaps Belias, giving him the same treatment that Belias gave Ark earlier. Belias responds by leaping high in the air. So high that he disappears from sight.*

"Umm...."

*Hitomi casts Protect on Bahamut.*

OOC: The scan said "Stop that"?

Ingrid looks up, waiting for Belias to come back.

OOC: Yes. Now log on messengah.

*Belias comes back down on Hitomi, causing a miniature explosion where he lands.*

Ingrid looked at the explosion with shock, waiting for the dust to clear before acting.

*Hitomi is presumably thrown back by the impact and explosion. Gritting her teeth she casts Drain on Belias.*

Seeing that Hitomi was not directly beside Belias, Ingrid casts Fira on Belias.

*Belias thrusts out a claw & the beehive barrier of Reflect surrounds him. After tanking an Azure Lance from Luna & another slap from Bahamut, he holds out his claw again.*

<I was hoping I wouldn't have to use this....>

*Bahamut dissolves into Pyreflies as a green aura shoots past him. Belias starts running up the mountain path with a slight limp.*

Ark: <I hate when they cheat.>

"So are we going to chase him, or hope he dies off in the mountain?"

"He's not retreating. He's just trying to fight us in a less open area."
