*Azuma rolls over and falls asleep.*

*Euryale comes back from the bathroom & sits down on the bed.*

*Mimiru throws something that's possibly a lamp into the hallway that shatters upon hitting a wall as a not so subtle shut the hell up.*

*Allina looks at it and enters the bedroom.*

Allina: <Don't break my grandpa's stuff.>

*She walks again and sits down against the wall.*

*Euryale is re-reading a text message she sent several hours earlier.*

Hi, Stheno.

I'm sorry, but I won't be able to make it back home tonight. I want you to lock the doors & windows, and sleep with the lights ON. There's plenty of food in the ice box. Remember how I showed you to heat it in that new machine, the microwave? I'm sorry I can't be there more. I really want things to be different this time.
