T"I do not condone stealing Euryale's food."

*She rips open the popsicle.*

T"But I guess she won't miss one of these."

*Hitomi blinks a few times and stares at him in confusion before wiping her mouth on the back of her hand staring at the smeared blood.*

[Please don't worry. It's nothing, really.]

"A doctor's not necessary."

[Of all the times to say something, now's the time?]

*She stares at the popcicle like "Can I have it back now?"*

"...How many of these have you eaten?"

Salamon:<Counting that one, I'd have eaten one. Hawkmon's answer will differ greatly.>

Tae: <Are you sure you're all right...? I shouldn't have said anything.>

*Just then, Hawkmon shouts from the kitchen again.*

Hawkmon: <Anyway want half a grape popsicle? It tastes funny. It's the last one! In better news, I found watermelon and strawberry jelly.>

*Tsune drops the popsicle & starts pulling on her hair, a crazed look in her eyes.*

T"She's gonna kill me! She's gonna crush my head with her freakishly-strong-yet-silky-smooth hands!"

*Salamon takes the popcicle and after much fighting finally gets it out of the package.*

Salamon:<Strange how you felt the need to include "silky smooth" when going on about her hands.>

*They hear Big Ben rings ten times.*

"I'm jealous of the fact that she can keep her skin in such good condition, okay?"

*Tae just kind of sighs and slowly walks back towards Euryale's, loosening his grip on her hand like he expects her to pull it away any moment.*

Hawkmon: <Awesome! I found--wait. This isn't food. Wait again. Aha! Cookie dough! And a weird glass jar labeled 'Secret Face Mask" that smells like kiwi. Hey guys, do you think it's edible?>

Salamon:<Uh...huh.>

*Having finished the popcicle, Salamon gnaws on the stick.*

Salamon:<As interesting as it is listening to you while you're in denial, it might be a good idea to stop Hawkmon. Unless you want to sleep outside.>

*Hitomi walks beside him staring at the ground, not letting go of his head.*

[I'm terrible. I'm the worst.]

*She picks Salamon up by the scruff & puts her outside, closing the door.*

*As the two approach Euryale's house they see Salamon sitting on the front step like an orphan.*

Salamon:<Enjoy your wa...lk?>

*She looks at Hitomi who's still staring at the ground then at Tae glaring.*

Salamon:<What did you do?>

"It's okay, Salamon. I'm... fine."

Salamon:<If you say so.>

*Salamon doesn't look away from Tae.*

*Tae glances at Salamon sadly and lets go of Hitomi, going to sit by the front gate again.*

[I'm an idiot.]

Hawkmon: <We're running out of food, is there any money around?>

"GET OUT!"

*Hitomi looks over her shoulder towards Tae.*

"I'm sorry."

*Approaching the door, she knocks. Once again it's an incredibly light knock.*

Salamon:<I'll uhh... I'll join you inside soon.>

"Okay."

*Salamon goes over to the gate. Hitomi knocks again.*

*Tae stares at Salamon blankly, still with a sad look on his face.*

Hawkmon: <Okay, okay! I just finished eating the last slice of cake anyway. I hate an empty fridge.>

"Umm...what's going on out here?"

*Euryale & her 2 sisters show up behind everyone, along with a stern-looking woman with long, red hair and dark skin.*

Salamon:<Tsune tossed me out, he did or said something to Hitomi, Tsune's not answering the door... *deep breath* Tsune and Hawkmon are probably duking it out inside, and we found Taiyo awhile ago. Any other questions?>

*Hawkmon opens the door and flies out, staring at Medusa for a few seconds before flying away.*

???<So. This is a Digimon?>

E"This is a Digimon."

*Tsune comes out a second later.*

T"Euryale, I'm so sorry, I let them in &--"

???<You let people into my house when I wasn't around?>

T"Well...umm...Betamon doesn't know what to do in these situations, but I'll take the blame for it."

E"So I take it Hawkmon ate all of our food?"

???<Medusa, honey? Get the bird.>

*Medusa nods & starts walking after Hawkmon.*

*Hitomi remains standing on the front step staring forward.*

[I should turn around, but I don't think I'll like what I'll see.]

Salamon:<What happened to BlackAgumon?>

*Hawkmon stares at her over her shoulder and shrieks in terror, digivolving to Aquilamon and darting into the sky. Tae gets up and walks off.*

A<I'm right here!>

*He waves from in front of Hitomi's waist. Medusa comes back a second later.*

Medusa<The bird has taken flight, mother. Do I have permission to shoot it down?>

???<Umm...no. I don't think that will be necessary.>

Salamon:<I think BlackAgumon should take responcibility for letting what happened happen.>

*Salamon bites Tae's pantleg. Hitomi resumes standing on the doorstep despite BlackAgumon breathing on her.*

Salamon:<You can feel sorry for yourself or mope around later. I'm sure we have a lot of explaining to do. And I know you do.>

*For anyone who bothers to look up, they can see BlackGabumon looking out Euryale's bedroom window.
