City of Amnesia

Zell stands, "I can get one."Zell said, rushing off to her linen closet. In short time Zell came back with a wet rag. "Here you go." She said, offering it to Hitomi. "So, if you don't mind me asking, how did you find your way into my house?"

You know, when the ground starts to rumble it isn't far fetched to think it's an earthquake, smart arse.

"Sure" Luna begins to run to the exit.

"I don't know."

*Hitomi takes the rag, gauze, and the like, turning away from Zell so her back is facing her. Wincing, and biting her lip, she removes her sweatervest and unbuttons her shirt enough to expose her wounded shoulder and white bra strap. After wiping off her bloodied hand and shoulder she puts some disinfectant on the rag and presses it to her shoulder, wincing and biting her lip some more. Putting the rag aside she wraps some gauze around the wound and tapes it up. Once all that's said and done she buttons her shirt back up and puts her sweatervest back on. Wiping any blood dribbling from her bottom lip off on her hand she stands up and holds everything out for Zell to take back.*

"Th... Thank you."

OOC: That's great, but I was referring to the word "Jesus."

*Soon after they exit, there's a tumultuous crash & some dust flies out of the tunnel, but nothing major happens.*

T"What the Hell was that about?"

*Ode to Joy starts playing out of nowhere. Thiera pulls her phone out of her pocket & holds up a finger, answering it.*

T"Hello? Oh...Roger...I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to cancel that appointment. I'm...a little busy. A guest? Umm...yeah, that sounds fine. Give her directions to my place. Oh, & my phone number. Okay...it's no problem...thanks...you're a louse, Roger Smith."

*With that, she hangs up.*

T"So...where were we?"

Zell shrugged, "I guess that is to be expected, considering the fact you kind of passed out a few seconds ago. Do you at least remember how you hurt yourself?" As Hitomi started to turn and clean herself Zell turned to, as to give Hitomi a bit of privacy. When it was all done Zell turned back around and picked up the now bloody rags with a bit of hesitation. Zell quickly made her way over to the bathroom sink and put the rag inside so that the blood would have somewhere to drain. Zell rinsed her hands and returned to Hitomi in time for the thanks. "Oh, don't mention it. It is kind of weird that you're here, but I can't just kick you out bloody, and broken, well I could, but I would feel kind of bad for it." Zell extended a hand down to Hitomi, offering to help her up. "I'm Zell by the way. Do you need any other help? Police maybe, or a doctor?"

"I'm fine."

*Already standing she just kind of stares at Zell's hand like it might bite.*

"I'm Hitomi."

Slightly embarrassed, Zell pulls her hand back, her cheeks flushed. "Nice to meet you Hitomi." With that Zell motions towards a chair, "Are you sure you're alright, do you want something to eat or drink? You lost a lot of blood, you must be tired." Zell said walking over towards her linen closet again, this time grabbing a few towels and using them to wipe up the remaining blood on the floor. "I have tea on the stove, and food in the pantry."

"I'm fine."

*Hitomi collects her books, clutching them to her chest.*

"I... I should get going. Sorry for the intrusion."

Zell was a bit shocked, "You lost a lot of blood, and passed out, and don't even know how you got here. You really are not fine." Zell wipes her hands off and takes a step towards Hitomi, "At least allow me to walk with you until you get to your destination. I would feel horrible if I read that a young woman was found on the side of the road dead due to severe blood loss."

"Okay..."

Zell wasn't really planning ahead when she was talking, so the okay caught her off guard. "Well, uh, alright." She said, grabbing her house keys, and a phone. She walked to the door, and opened it. "Oh, before I forget." Zell reached into her pocket and pulled out the letter opener, pricking her finger as she did, "Ow..." She said, tossing it over onto the table, next to the bloody towels.

*They actually hear a knock on the door at that moment.*

Luna takes out her wallet with a badge inside it and raises her pistol to point at Thiera and Lilith.
"Now, you people are going to explain exactly who you are, and what happened in there... in fact, I think we'd be better off heading to the police station to file an official report"

Zell, having the door already open, jumps and slams the door, locking it instantly. "Uh..." She said a bit shaken, "Who is there?" With that she looks through the peep hole to see who is out there.

*Lilith grabs the gun & bends it.*

L"The suspect is dead. Your job is done. Now where is my arm? Oh...."

*She finds it lying on the ground, picks it up, & plugs it back into its socket. After a loud "click" she starts moving it around.*

T"Huh. I wonder why the thieves put it here?"

<Uhh...you told me to come by. I apologize for the late hour, but I ran into some difficulties with my appointment.>

*She sees Roger behind the peephole.*

OOC: It's around 8:30 PM.

Luna's eyes widen and she hops backwards by about a metre, then pulls another pistol from an underside pocket of her jacket, "Stay the hell back!"
She was just about ready to blow Lilith's face off.

"You simply tell me that the suspect killed himself, then there is a large explosion in the subway where the two of you just came from" She growls, "You are now considered dangerous suspects"
While she speaks, she is repeatedly hitting the panic button on her bracelet, sending distress messages directly to her father.

Zell quickly opens the door. "Roger, I'm sorry, you've caught me at a bad time." He motions towards Hitomi, "This young lady happened to wander in with a bleeding wound, the effects of which you can see on my floor and towels." Zell looks back at Roger, "I offered her food and drink, but she denied it, so I offered to at least walk her home so I could rest easy knowing she was safe and not in a ditch somewhere due to blood loss." Zell smiled weakly, "We were just about to leave when you showed up, and, well, you know how jumpy I've been lately, sorry for slamming the door on you."

<We need to get her to a doctor. Fast.>

*He hoists Hitomi onto his back & sets off at a run.*

L"It was an unstable tunnel. He began turning over the rocks that supported it. The tunnel collapsed on him. He was obviously insane."

"I really think... we should continue this conversation at the police station" Luna felt very unsafe with the obviously physically superior pair in front of her, "Please... I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't take you in."

*Hitomi starts squirming*

"Put me down."

Zell is shocked to see Roger get up and grab Hitomi, but follows after him anyway, though she did make sure to lock up. "Uh, Roger, she said she was fine, and the wound is patched up, from the looks of it it seemed to be a knife wound, maybe a bullet graze, I'm not sure, though it was bleeding a lot." Zell lets out a sigh, she didn't like running, but after a couple meters she usually gave in to the fact that she was running and began to regulate her breathing. "I'm not sure if she needs a doctor, but I don't think she filed a police report, which may be important, either way, I don't think she wants to be carried."

<I can't take no for an answer. It would be irresponsible & ungentlemanly. From the looks of it, she's lost a lot of blood. If her bandages were to break, or she sustained another wound, she wouldn't be safe.>

*He turns left at the hospital, heading instead for a small house.*

T"There's no crime to be investigated. And even if there was, you can't get to the scene. It makes no sense to arrest us. And before you go saying that you didn't see it happen, well, if your incompetent ASS would have been there when he was ranting & waving a gun around, then that wouldn't be a problem! Come on, Lilith. If the Paradigm Police Force has something to say to me, they can talk to my lawyer."

*She grabs Lilith's wrist & turns, walking towards the domes.*

"But don't you think running with her like that is risking opening her wounds?" Zell asked between breaths. When they past the hospital Zell started to get a bit worried, "Roger, whats going on, we passed the hospital, where are you taking her?" She asked, grabbing his arm, in an attempt the get them to stop.

"Put me down!"

*She keeps squirming, kicking him every now and then.*

"STOP!" Luna let off a shot onto the ground, "There have been several murders, and now you report to me that the murderer killed himself... how do we know you aren't the murderer? It is my duty to stop you here"

She took another step away to put more distance between her and the other two, ready to shoot Lilith in the shoulder if she even moved towards her.
